There's this RGB RBG (however you say that) trick to make the specific color barriers move and make the images 3D. I've been trying to do that but I can't do it in PE.

Actually... its not. It took me an hr or so to find the Asian version that is easily set to "english" <- for Sai. I had it uploaded before where Sushi and the others downloaded from me. Its a permanent version not a cracked version.

@ Kent; Ahhhh, the free version I had uploaded on my mediafire account is expired.
I could put it back up there but I don't have my USB. So it'd be a while xD

I didn't save the link where I downloaded mine because it was a torrent thing that I searched through Google.

Ah, it's Iro's thread here.
I think of it as more of a log/archive since you don't really draw or show off drawings unless you want to. It's not required.

yep, I downloaded Taiwan version of SAI too... yet manage to get it turn into English. 8D
I am completely fine with chinese, but meh, I am so used to English.

You can get adobe from me if you don't mind crack version. *shruggs*

well, music comes before art. so does movies--those are the biggest topics

haha! I can only understand English (although I do know words here and there of other languages)

I guess I'll stick with PE. It takes 4hrs to download from Adobe for the trial
so... I know what that's like XD

I put a lot of texture downloads in there but I don't know where you go to use them.
But if you find out, you can have fun xD

ah, well, I bet 50/50 ~

I go back ' n ' forth with Sai and Photoshop.
It's better to do fancy things in there instead of Sai, unless you draw it out all by hand.

photoshop's filter could be a great help IF you know how to use it.

@ Xu; Blending in colors, like you use the water tool and marker tool in Sai. :D
It takes a great deal of patience, though.

I colored those with the smudge tool and the gradients @Photoshop.
I went all freestyle and color happy--I wasn't really paying attention to shadows and highlights XD

If you* think about it, yeah. If your in a bad mood, you will prolly use darker colors?
In a good mood, you'd use more bright colors? That or your color scheme will just be jacked up looolll

I am more focus on what the character/object want to convey.
For example. I am happy and cheerful. but if I am drawing a character in his/her melancholy dark background, of course I would use dark colours instead of bright ones?

And the color scheme came from somebody else, yeah? They chose colors that specifically were dark. So, they wanted a "dark character" because they have dark emotions. It goes both ways, really. It just depends. xD
