Leenalia, I'm embarrassed to say I made a grievous typo in my post! Thank you for pointing it out, I meant the 2012 phenomenon, which has been discussed within this forum.

Unless you aren't operating on a Gregorian calendar, then you get your calendar on some other day.

Leenalia, everything that Philomel pointed out about your posts makes more sense then your posts entire.
Like Philomel I'm wondering how

is a negative. More energy efficient living, small families, low birth rate. I fail to see the problem. And yes, eventually this cushy lifestyle that most countries have developed is going to run out, but a) that does not mean the end of the world and b) that does not mean everything is going to end in 2012.
*eyeroll*
You know no one is going to be happy until December 21st 2012, when we finally see once and for all if the world ends or not.

That's the thing I wish more than anything she would have explained. Even anti-environmentalists wouldn't go so far as to say that sustainable living will bring about the apocalypse

It does not particularly surprise me to see that they made such an assertion in their post. If you will read through it you can quite readily identify a running theme. My guess would be that they subscribe to a form of nineteenth century evolutionism.
