It had started to really rain, but Roy did not mind. At least it wasn't cold and hard. On the contrary, it was warm and refreshing. He tilted his head back, stopped walking and sighed. This is what Roy would do to get away from it all; go out on a rainy day and let the drops of precipitation fall on his face and hair. He heard someone laughng in the distance, somewhere around the entrance to the park. Almost everyone had left, apart from a few people in umbrellas. Something in his heart clicked. It sounded a lot like Kai. Was he here? He walked quickly to the voice and in the distance, a figure that looked like Kai was spinning in circles and laughng. Did he like the rain too?

As he got closer, he noticed that Kai had a cast, but he seemed like he was doing just fine. Roy smiled. He liked seeing that beautiful smile on Kai's face. Roy ran to him, put his arms around his neck and hugged him. He didn't care if people stared, he missed Kai, even if they met less than 24 hours ago. No matter how childish he looked, Roy missed Kai.
"I missed you." He whispered in Kai's ear, never letting go of him.

Kai let the rain pelt down on his lithe form as he continued to spin around as he laughed. He loved the rain, it always comforted him. He continued to spin until he felt two arms encircle his neck hugging him. Freezing suddenly, he misinterpreted the hug as an attack and began to struggle violently as he thrashed around. Flashes of memory assaulted him. Memories of his kidnapping, memories of a ransom, memories of just wanting to run away and hide. He cried out as he tried to pry the hands off of his neck. His reactions were blinded, all he wanted to do was run away. He managed to push Roy off of him, as he went tearing off down the park trail.

Roy felt Kai trying to get his hands off of his neck. Then again, Roy did sort of attack him. He quickly let go, but before Roy could finish saying "Kai, it's me, Roy.", Kai had already ran away from him. Look what you've done, Roy he thought to himself, scared him away once again. He suddenly had deja vu of what happened last night, when Kai had done the same and run off. What if he falls again, and hurts his other wrist? To the direction where Kai ran to, Roy followed behind, just in case he got hurt again.

Kai really didn't know where he was going. His only thought was to get away, and run away. As Kai ran memories of his kidnapping flooded through his mind. He thought that he had completely forgotten about them, since it had happened such a long time ago. However, he had not. Kai stopped running when he felt that he was a safe distance from where Roy was. Cursing to himself, he kicked a nearby rock, in frustration. Kai hated himself sometimes for being so weak. It had happened almost 5 years ago. He was grabbed by two men after he was done with classes, and thrown into a car. He was held for randsom for at least 2 months after that, while they worked out an agreement with his father on money. He remembered vividly when he was returned to his parents. It was a bittersweet reunion so to say. Yes, he was happy, and fortunate, that he was returned in one piece, but why had it taken so long. Was his father really contemplating paying the money.

Falling to his hands and knees he let out a sob again as he beat the asphalt with his one good hand.

Roy had stoped suddenly when he heard cries and sobs coming from where Kai had run to. Was Kai hurt again? Another piece of Roy's heart had broken off. He hated seeing Kai in pain. The rain was getting harder and harder, so Roy pushed out his drenched hair out of his eyes and speedwalked to the voice. Pretty soon, Kai was there, hands and knees and hitting the cold ground with his hand. Was this as just an odd nightmare, and what happened last night hadn't happened? Roy couldn't feel his head and nearly collapsed near a bench, but missed it completely and fell hard on the ground. He felt like he was fainting, something that happened to him in the summer months. A doctor had told his parents that Roy would always feel light-headed and maybe even faint when something happens to him. There was one time where Roy fainted during math class when he really couldn't think straight, kids were laughing at him and the teacher pestered him for an answer. The same was happening now, only this time, his heart ached even more.

Roy's phone vibrated, but he couldn't feel it, as he was breathing heavilly and trying to keep conscious. It was a text from his mom, saying "Dad got the job offer, he accepted. Tomorrow working 4 Kudo family!"

Kai threw the rain and his own sobbings managed to hear something fall heavy on the ground. Looking behind him he saw that Roy was face first on the ground. Getting up from the ground he ran over to Roy's still form. Lifting him so he was in an upwards position he looked him over. Besides, the few small bruises, and cuts from the fall Roy looked perfectly healthy. Why had he collapsed like that? Hearing Roy's phone vibrate, he decided that it was probably not the best thing to butt into his life anymore than he already had. There was a crash of thunder in the background.

Grabbing out his cellphone he dialed a few numbers, and someone on the other end answered. "Kudo residence," the voice said. "Sebastian," replied Kai. "It's me. Can you pick me up at the park. Bring some medical supplies too." "Right away sir," said Sebastian as he hung up the phone. Grabbing a small first-aid kit Sebastian was out the door, heading to the park with a car.

Kai looked down at Roy's still form. A few tears escaped his eyes, joining the rain that was already coating his face. Bending down he captured Roy's mouth in a small kiss. Roy looked so little and helpless it made Kai feel utterly useless. Hearing feet running up to them he looked up and saw Sebastian as he was carrying an umbrella. Kai looked down at Roy again, and then at Sebastian again. Sebastian slowly nodded, as he hoisted Roy's limp form into his arms as the went back to the car. Once in the car, Sebastian sped off back towards the manor where they would help Roy get into something dry and warm.

Roy felt lke he was fading, fading away from his still body. Was he dying? He felt somethig touch his lips, but his eyelids were pressed down so he couldn't see what had happened. He suddenly felt himself being lifted and put somewhere dry. He felt like his body wasn't his anymore, like he was just a floating soul searching for a new body. He heard an engine start, but Roy was unresponsive. His head was pounding on him again, as if that was the reason he couldn't wake up.

When he felt like some of his consciousness had come back, Roy half-opened his eyes. He was in the back-seat of a car, a familiar one, but he couldn't remember where he had seen this car before. In fact, he had almost forgot everything; his name, why he was so wet, why was he in the back of a car. His eyes had already opened now. Unfamiliar faces looked at him. He couldn't recognise any of them.
"Wh-wh-wh." He stuttered, "Where...am..I?"

Kai looked down at Roy's still, cold form. He felt a small part of him break inside. He wanted to hug him, and tell him that everything was going to be alright. Turning his head he said," Roy, can you drive any faster?" Sebastian nodded his head, and the car sped off faster towards the manor. Hearing Roy mumble something Kai looked down at Roy. "Roy? oh Roy are you alright? Talk to me please." Roy's head was situated in Kai's lap, so it was rather awkward of a position for the both of them. Kai hugged Roy's head as he continued to speak soft words to him. "We're going to get you home, I promise. I have some good news too. Your Dad got the job."

Entering the driving circle in front of the manor, Sebastian got out of the car, took Roy out of the car, and hurridely went running into the manor. Kai traveled in after him where he saw Roy being placed on the foyer couch. Sighing, to himself he was glad that the worse was over. Bending over Roy's front he kissed him lightly on the lips. Kai then decided that he was going to rest his head on the couch arm as he closed his eyes.

Roy heard something talking to him. Who was it? He heard the voice before, but his vision was too blury to recognise the person. He heard something about his Dad getting a job. For who? Suddenly his memory flashed back again. Before he could say anything, he was carried quickly to a manor, which he remembered going to last night. Kai. He suddenly remembered why he was here. He fainted because of seeing Kai in pain. After feeling his lips touch Roy's and he wished that his limbs worked properly so he could keep Kai there. Invisible nails pinning him to the ground prevented that.

"Kai..." He managed to get out. His eyes were fully opened now, aware of his surroundings. He was in the recognizable foyer again, only he was the one trying to recover. He glanced to the end of the couch and noticed an almost still body laying there. He recognized Kai's glasses, that had tiny droplets of precipitation on it, which shined from the lights hanging above. Roy put his hand near his temple, as if that will kill the ache residing in his head.

Feeling the couch shift from Roy moving around on the couch he leaned forward into someone's hand rather hard. Wincing he let out a curse and a shout as his forehead and face collided with the arm. Glancing over he noticed that Roy was awake and conscience. Getting to his feet he leaned over Roy as he kissed him deeply. Pulling back he looked at Roy as if searching for an answer. Roy had just recovered there would be no way that he would have the strength to kiss him back, but he wanted to let Roy know that he cared. Kai kissed him again as he nibbled on his lip seeing if he would open his mouth allowing him more access.

Roy felt Kai kiss him deeply suddenly. His reaction time still had to recover, but he knew that he wanted Kai to kiss him again. As if hearing his thoughts, Roy felt nipping on his lower lip, which made him moan a little. He opened his mouth so Kai's tounge could invade his mouth again. His tounge collided with his, but that only made him want to touch his tounge even more.
"I...I'm sorry." Roy pulled back slowly and said. He was apologizing for his attacking in the park. "I...never should...scare you like that." Still recovering, even talking drained some of his energy. But somewhow, being with Kai and the fact that he showed that he cared about him seemed to make him recover quicker than he had in school, where all they used was a towel and water.

Kai was glad when Roy kissed him back by as he allowed his tongue to invade Roy's soft mouth. Roy tasted of watermelon and sunshine, if it had a flavor. It was pure nirvana to him. Hearing Roy speaking he heard him say that he was sorry for something. Pulling back he looked at Roy and shook his head as he said," Don't be. Never be sorry to me. I should be the one that is sorry. I was so disheartened when you walked out of my life. I never want you to do that again." He paused. " Promise me that you will never leave me. Swear to me that I will be your one and only. I can make you happy, and I can get you anything your little heart desires. Just say that you will be mine." Kai was in tears now as he clutched Roy's head between his hands not letting go. Hoping to himself he wished that Roy would understand, and not think that he was just some crazy person.

Roy looked into Kai's beautiful, dark eyes. His words were heard from Roy's heart, not his ears. They were poetic and were like chocolate; Roy wanted to hear more. He had to give him an answer. It seemed like an easy answer, but there were so many things going on in his head. How will they see each other again? Roy's dad already worked for Kai's, so that shouldn't be a problem. But how would he keep them being together a secret? He would have to tell them sometime. Today wasn't going to be that day, nor tomorrow, nor the next week, and maybe not the month after that. The thoughts made Roy's head feel heavier, but glancing back at those eyes that showed Kai really cared for him made him feel like he could do anything.

With his hand, Roy felt around for Kai's little finger, then let Roy's little finger wrap around his. "My heart is yours." He started out, "I promise to never leave your side. Even if we're far away, I'll still be in your heart, holding you close and never letting go. I will give you my heart, in exchange for yours." He ended his small speech with a deep kiss on the lips. This was happiness to Roy. This is where he belonged; in Kai's arms.

Kai was in complete heaven when he heard those words fall from Roy's velvety lips. He was truly at home with Roy wrapped in his arms, however, not everything was going to be happy and blissful for this is reality, and reality well can be a bitch. Walking through the door, his father walked into the front door, and then into the foyer as he spied the two boys tangled with one another. His eyes bulged out as he began shaking his fist wildly. "Out! Out!" he yelled. "Not my son, not my son." He glared at Roy. "You turned him to this you wretched excuse of a human being. Filthy, get out!" Kai got up, not really knowing what he was going to do or now he was going to confront his father. His father looked at him as his son stood before him as his shoulders shook in rage and pain. "So my boy. Are you here to challenge your own father?" Kai looked up and glared at his father fire burning in his eyes. Taking a swing at his father was unheard of, but as if in slow motion Kai punched his father in the face. Rage was building in him, as was in his father, as the two of them began to roll around on the ground as the wrestled with one another.

Sebastian walked into the room and saw the two of them on the ground. Running over to Roy he began to hustle Roy up the stairs into a room where he would be safe.

Roy glanced at the glaring Mr. Kudo, who had saw them kissing. He knew this would happen, why didn't he listen to his conscience? Because he was too busy listening to his heart. Almost instantly, Roy quickly got off the couch when Kai's dad had called him "filthy" and yelled at him to get out. He wasn't sure here he was going, but he was shortly stopped by Sebastian. He looked back at the two men, who were now attacking and rolling on the floor. He'd never seen anything like it, a father being punched by his own son. Was Kai doing this all for him? Had he really meant those words he had said? Roy couldn't watch the two battle it out, but his eyes were fixed onto the two figures. He was suddenly pushed up the stairs into a different room. Neatly and beautifully furnished, as expected in a large mansion like this.

Roy sank to his knees and covered his pink-red face with his hands "Shit, shit, shit, shit." He kept repeating, "I really screwed it up this time, I really screwed it up this time." When Roy had revealed his face, the walls of the room seemed to have been written in dark, spidery letters: You really screwed it up this time. He looked up at Sebastian, now standing over him. He tried hard not to cry infront of him, and crawled to a nearby wall. He looked up at the cieling, then quickly shut his eyes when he saw those words again.

Kai really didn't know what was going on after he had connected his fist with his father's face. It was all a blur. An ugly blur. There was yelling and screaming, and Kai felt completely controlled by adrenaline as he punched his father again as he took a glancing blow himself from his very own father. At least Roy was safe upstairs in another room, Sebastian made sure of that. Kai didn't really know how this would end, but at least he knew that he was doing the right thing. Roy was Kai's everything, and he would die for him. Pulling away from the tangle of limbs Kai got up from the ground re-arranging the collar of his shirt as he looked up at his father. He wiped some blood off of the corner of his mouth. His father got up after he did, and the both of them just stared the other down waiting for the other to make the next move. "Look, Dad," said Kai. "I don't want to fight you. I want you to know that no matter what you do, I will always love Roy." His father looked stunned, he was still in shock that his own flesh and blood would go so far as to strike him. His father thought for a moment before he said," Kai, while I don't really appreciate the company that you have chosen as a lover, I will respect your choice. What you just showed me is that you would challenge your own father to keep what you think is right in your mind happening, and for that I respect you."

It was a rather odd evening to say the least. Now the only thing that they had to do was convince Kai's mother. Kai's father had married into the Kudo family. He married Kai's mother who was the heiress to the company. He only owns and maintains the company in name, even though Kai's mother runs the company with a group of advisors at her disposal. As the first born, and only son, Kai would inherit the company after his father retired even though it belonged to his mother in name. She was a straight laced woman, that didn't care much for people that were beneath her. So, obviously, she would want a fine young woman for her son to marry. She would not be pleased. It was going to get very interesting indeed.

After a few long minutes of loud brawling coming from below Roy, it had stopped, along with muffled coversation, but he couldn't understand it enough to know what was going on. Thoughts and scenarios raced and raced in his head, making it hard for Roy to find a reasonable explanation as to what had happened downstairs. Had Kai fallen? Did his father beat him down, or was it the other way around? He really wanted to know, and run down the stairs and find out if Kai was okay, but Sebastian's watchful eyes seemed to prevent that. He looked up at the butler.
"W-w-w-" His stuttering voice ame again, "Any idea w-what's going to happen?" He was hoping that Sebastian would know what was going on. He glanced around the nice room he was in.He hadn't noticed after all his worrying.
"W-what room is this?" He asked, glancing around at the room again.

Sebastian, who was looking over the side of the banister saw the brawl between his two masters end with niether one of them being the victor. He didn't much care about that, he was just glad that it was over. He heard Roy stutter behind him, and he turned around and said," They are done fighting, for now anyway." The question about the room took him aback a little. He didn't really notice what room it was until he looked around it. It was the room where Kai's fiancee had lived, before Kai broke it off with her. Glancing at the floor he noticed some discarded knick knacks the girl had left behind.

Kai was standing in front of his father as he breathing became normal again. His father had a point. Apparently his father was alright, or as alright as you were going to be learning that your son was not as straight laced as was originally thought, with the current happenings with himself and Roy. Now, if only his mother would understand. Her mother, loosely put, was the devil incarnate. She was a mean, calculating person who was very vain and hyper critical about everything. She traveled a lot for pleasure and for business, and all three of the males in the household were thankful when she left. When she was at home she criticized everything. From Kai's lack of attention at school, to Sebastian's lack of clairvoyance when she wanted something. There was no way in heck that Kai could tell his mother that he was in love, let alone, making out with someone of the same gender. She would ship him off to a foreign country instantly. Hopefully, his mother would stay away from the manor until things were cleared up between the 4 males, Roy included.

Finishing his conversation with his father Kai went running up the stairs to see if Roy was alrigt since the last time he saw him was when he was dodging punches and when Sebastian was ushering him out of the room. He didn't care who was in the room he was going to show Roy just how much he loved him. Entering the room, he made a straight B line for Roy as he pushed him on the bed as he ridded himself of his shirt.

Sebastian saw Kai enter the room, and knew where it would be soon leading so he exited the room as he closed the door leaving the two to their passion.

Roy suddenly felt someone push him down on the bed exsisting behind him. His emotions exploded when he found out it was Kai. He grabbed Kai's now bare shoulders and kissed him deeper than he had before. He was overjoyed to see Kai was in full health and his dad hadn't hurt him as much, Roy wanted to express his feelings to Kai, regardless of who he saw. He promised to never leave Kai's side. He promised that Roy's heart beonged to him and only him. Roy let his hands venture to Kai's bare, smooth back. He could feel how strong he was, and Kai smelled like rain and cut grass, Roy's favorite scents. He opened his mouth so Kai's tounge could invade his, the sensation he would die for.

Roy quickly took off his shirt and threw it to the side and let their two bodies come closer. He felt that his heart and emotions were about to explode. If anything, he though their heartbeats were synchronized, due to the fact that it was so loud. He slow creeped up to Kai's ear and whispered "I love you, Kai." in case the passing events wasn't enough to show that Roy really and truly loved him. He nibbled slightly at his ear and went back to suck on Kai's mouth, a daydream Roy would thought impossible a few days before.

Kai felt Roy grab at the back of his shoulders as he pushed the two of their bodies together even closer, if that was even possible. Kai saw that Roy had opened his mouth. His lips, his tongue, everything about his lover was so inviting. Roy looked like a delectible dessert, and Kai, himself, was a child with a huge sweet tooth. Delving downard he locked lips with Roy ina searing kiss. Roy broke away for a moment, and Kai let out a growl, only to be mildly surprised when Roy whispered," I love you, Kai." Kai smiled to himself as he responded with," I will always be your one and only. Together forever, you and I." Kissing him again....

Roy had still been breathing in short breaths, even as Kai had lay down next to him under the sheets. The warmth of his lips made Roy breathe at a normal pace. He wrapped his arms around him and rested his head on Kai's bare chest. He wiped a few sweat beads off his forehead and closed his eyes. He inhaled Kai's smell, the wonderful scent of freshly cut grass made it feel like they were in a park, lying together, on the dark, green grass, both not letting go of their embrace, as if letting go would mean risk losing each other forever. Judging by how orange the sky was, it seemed like almost six, two hours late of his mom's deadline time. Just then, a fuse in Roy's head went off.
"What are we telling our parents?" He suddenly said, completely shattering the mood the two males were currently in, "I mean, your dad knows, but what about your mom and my parents? I'm in complete shit if they find out I'm not a..ya know. And your mom, will she get pissed?" Roy had decided he talked too much and went back to putting his head on Kai's chest. If anything were to happen in a few moments, he wanted to make sure he was in his arms before anything happens.

Kai was laying with Roy wrapped in his arms. Roy's head was on his bare chest. Glancing over at the window he saw that dawn was creeping up over the horizon. He had school in the morning. Maybe, his Dad would let him skip it considering the circumstances of what had happened earlier. Kai felt at home with Roy wrapped in his arms. He breathed in Roy's scent; he smelled of sweet honey and watermelon. It was pure heaven to him. Closing his eyes as he was about to drift off to sleep he heard Roy ask," What are we telling our parents?" Kai hadn't really thought about it. He knew that his father already knew about the two of them, and after the scuffle that had ensued last night they had both come to a mutual understanding with one another. Sebastian would agree with anything as long as Kai was happy. Kai was a little startled when he heard Roy talk about his parents. Were they that pig-headed to not understand and accept that it was what Roy was? "If your parents don't accept you then you can live here. I will go with you to get your stuff, and you can stay in one of the guest rooms," said Kai as he ruffled his hair in an affectionate manner.

His mother... Kai chuckled out loud. If his father was pissed that the two of them were together his mother was sure to be livid with anger. Thankfully, she would be over in America until the first of September. Grabbing for his glasses on the side table he placed them on his face as he took his cell phone from the table as well. Glancing over at his cellphone to see what time it was he saw that it was the beginning of a new month. It was September 1st. "Wonderful," thought Kai. His mother would have to wait though. He was more worried about Roy. At least in his own circumstance he had one parent on his side, it sounded like with Roy's situation that oth of his parent's were against him being "not normal" "We'll cross that bridge when the time comes," said Kai as he snuggled closer to Roy. "It's time for sleep now. Sebastian will make up breakfast or lunch whenever we get up." Closing his eyes he craddled Roy close to him as he rolled on his side so that Kai's front was to Roy's front.

Roy gave a small side-smile. He was glad Kai thought everything would be okay. But, like always, it was easier said than done. His parents expected him to fall in love with one of their family friends, and thatt family friend had to be female. Well, technically speaking, his parents did know Kai, sort of, so that wasn't so bad. At least he hadn't met some stranger and did it in the park. The only person on his side at that moment woud be Chang, but he didn't understand how she would back him up. The Tanero family was raised Christian, and Roy's dad surely found making love to the same sex absolutely sinful. How he would convince them, he still needed to conjure that up. When he heard from Kai he could stay here, he felt like he wanted to quickly move here with him, regardless what his parents think. He felt Kai mess up his hair, and Roy nearly died because of it. He wanted him to know that his touch made him grow crazy, and wouldn't let anyone else have it.

He felt Kai fumble around for something and felt a glaring light come on. It must have been his phone come on, but it the light was still uncomfortable for Roy. It was soon off and Kai had re-positioned himself so that he was facing Roy. He pulled them closer, and drifted off to a slumber with the feeling of sleeping in a cloud surrounded by Kai's embrace.

Opening his eyes again the sun was blaring into his window. Had he forgotten to close the blinds in his haste to take Roy earlier that day? Apparently so. Grabbing at his cell phone he looked at it again. It read 12:49p.m. ["Definently missed school there," thought Kai. It didn't matter much Kai was a straight A student, and it was his first absense. Besides, with as much money ashis father was donating to the private all boys academy he could get away with anything and everything that he wanted. Sliding out of bed slowly, he didn't want to wake up Roy, he left the room to go and take a shower. The sex had been good last night, but it left him feeling completely drained and sticky all over. Stepping into the shower he let the water cascade down his thin body. He washed his hair and body. When he was done he grabbed a towel that was hanging on a rack and proceeded back into his room where Roy still was.

Glancing over at the still sleeping form he padded quietly over to him. Looking down he bent over Roy ashe gently licked the shell of his ear and gave him a kiss on his cheek. "Morning love," he said.

Roy's dream was blurry and he couldn't see nor understand what half of what happened in it. He heard screams, but they weren't screams of severe pain. In fact, they sounded like screams of pleasure. He saw a dark room and two figures doing something, but it was too blurry for Roy to realize what was going on. After watching the blurry scene, he heard someone say "I will always be your one and only. Together forever, you and I." Those words were so beautiful, so seductive, and it came from a deep and musical voice. It seemed like the amazing dream could never last, until he suddenly woke up from something going on in the distance. He hadn't had enough strength yet to open his eyes, but he had identified the sounds as running ater, maybe from a shower or sink or something. The strength had gotten back to him when he felt something wet touch his ears and cheek.

He slowly opened his eyes to reveal a smiling, drenched Kai. So it was him who had taken a shower. He was about to ask why he was at his house and why he had taken a shower, but his memory slowly came to him. He basically remembered that he had gotten to Kai's house after a rainy day, he and his father fought because they had kissed earlier, and they supposedly took refuge in the guest room they both currently resided. And judging by the feeling that he had no clothes on under the sheets, he was not a virgin anymore. He propped himself with his elbows and gave Kai a soft kiss on the lips.
"Morning." He replied, slightly louder than a whisper, but still quiet enough for only him and Kai to hear.
