I'm not gonna do a fancy thread for this event... maybe for Halloween :)

Celes is my favorite event, which is why I'd wanted since last year to get things together and try to host a thread. It would be my first event thread, since usually I just bounce around and adopt other people's threads. They move so fast!

I'm trying to force myself to be less... cheap.

My First event thread was the one for the Steampunkish event.

I usually find myself in random threads with no one home.

Hatakitty: Planning is great when you're just planning two or three things. When you're planning the average amount of gold to gain for personal use and for charity per month and how to use this, planning both CP and Halloween threads at the same time, planning nearly a dozen contests, seven quests, three dream avatars, a quest for Clair Voyant which won't be extremely easy... well, then it does become quite a lot of work, mostly.

Random is good! I meet all sorts of people that I wouldn't normally talk to otherwise, by hopping into threads that look lively. And it's the best way to break out of lurk mode. Not that I've been lurking much the last couple of weeks.

Been on a post streak for sure. But it has been earning me gold, which I need.

I'm just hoping that my thread won't be deserted after I make it. Most threads I make end up that way, which is why I don't bother, mostly. Much easier to go to other people than have them come to me. After all, why should they? ^_~

Jez: Once your event thread is made, feel free to link me, perhaps we can list each other as affiliates?

Last Celes, I was part of a small group who protested that the Star Eater didn't get enough love. So my thread is going to be themed around that, mainly. Maybe I'll use my Star Eater blob as a scavenger hunt icon or something.

Can't be the overload of prizes and such. After all, those only seem to nearly scare people away. Can't be the hostess either, I've heard she's a bit... silly.

I like how there's almost always someone there to talk to. ^_~

Ah, but she's the best kind of silly. And I know that personally, she's the main reason I visit the threads.

I like trying to keep up with whatever thread Mr. Mayor puts up. Which is normally impossible so I move on to other threads in the event.:)

Wow, Silly took a bunch of people with her when she left!! I had to go do something else for a while, cause none of my subscribed threads were moving!
