What is that, a magnifying glass?
A friend just posted a photo from this fellow's stream. What fantastic access he has:

I could soak it up for hours.

Oh, you're not versed in the ways of the Spongebob. :(
Those pictures are quite lovely. I'd say more but my brain has shut down for the night. G'night!

No, I never really got into that show. I liked Hey Arnold! though.
Yeah, quiet special, I'm glad the karyukai has been preserved for posterity through that fellow's lens.

Wow, beautiful pictures...
Spongebob is okay, but it's sort of a some episodes are cool and others are just super strange.

Super strange is the best kind! Although I think the newer episodes are probably bad. I saw one and it... it had completely lost everything it once had. But there were a good 7 or more years of greatness.
I liked Hey Arnold! too, though. :)

I don't think I've ever seen Hey Arnold! I didn't have cable as a kid so I haven't seen most of those types of cartoons. Mostly saw stuff on PBS. And the WB.

Eddie Izzard is only ranked 10th? I am disappointed in these peons.
Pegg+Wright+Frost have currently taken over #2, and Boosh has fallen to a shocking #17. Craig Ferguson is at #3, though, which almost makes me feel better. Almost.

Anyhoo. Time to fufill my obligations. As promised all those months ago, first non-me poster on page 50 gets a page prize. And that's you, Miss Cherry. You receive an Old Jack Frost to have your way with.
I feel bad I don't have a more scientific way of distributing these things. I might give Fairy a little donation as well.

Yay, thanks!
I came across this book earlier (scroll down a bit to get to the part where they start talking about it), sounds quite interesting. Might be worth a read. :)

You are quite welcome :)
As per the new title, British television related links, in the form of two websites I discovered today.
The Tellygraph - The Website for People Who Love British TV
Britscene - British Movies, Television & Music In The USA
Not sure how stellar the second website is going to turn out to be. But I like the idea of the Gig Guide, giving listings of British entertainers rounds in the US.
And there's this:
Weird Things Customers Say In Bookshops: Pics, Videos, Links, News
Some are crying fake, but given that I've heard similar tales of ludicrousy from other vendors in the capitalist arena, they are as near to being real that forgeries can get, I suppose?
Buzzfeed also had a Nathan Barley clip amongst it's feature items today. A small victory for my kind.
That does indeed look like an interesting book, worth looking into for sure. Various elements of it call to mind the book Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell. Are you familiar with it?
After I posted that thing about Sum, and in conjunction with the light summer reading theme, I thought about posting a few short stories, just to add to the pot. Not to repeat the whole film festival idea, but I thought it might be a nice touch...
here, a few with a horticultural theme:
The Last Leaf by O Henry
[H.H. Munro] Saki's short story: The Occasional Garden

Oh jeez... that link reminds me of Not Always Right, a site that... never fails to depress me.
I hadn't heard of that book, no. But I just looked it up and it looks quite interesting. I assume you've read it, is it as good as it promises to be?

Yes, that sort of thing.
It's definitely all it should be. I'd recommend it.

Awesome, I'll look for that next time I'm in a book-type place, thanks. Must go to library, must remember, must not forget.

It's long though. If you get it from a library, be in a dedicated state of mind, so you don't have to return it unfinished

Hmm, maybe I'd best buy it, then. I can buy it used on amazon for one cent, but then the shipping ruins the deal. That really annoys me, you can ship a book for less than $2, but all these warehouses are too lazy so they do the flat rate packaging which makes it cost $3.99. I rue the day they introduced that, I used to be able to get such deals online. :(

Well, are we talking a hard cover here? For such a long book, even a soft cover wouldn't cost less than six dollars in a book store...

Nope, we're talking mass market paperback. I know it's still cheap, but I'm also unemployed. And annoyed that none of these companies care enough about the customer to ensure they pay as little as is necessary.

Quite a lot of SSP there. Not complaining, though, it was a good show.
Wow, that's quite beautiful. The carvings are amazing.
My mom got me a framed print of my favorite Van Gogh for my birthday!

I had to go back and look to see what you were talking about. I don't think I ever saw that show.
Oh nice! Which one is it?

It was really funny, but I'm not sure that it would be to your tastes. It was surreal but the humor was very crude.
Stairway at Auvers. :)

Is that the one that is at the museum in your state? I love the combined effect of his texture with the rolling curves of that particular piece.

I love how it leads your eyes to the red roof on the house. It's like a magic wavy line tunnely thing.
