*Fancypants* For the culturally inclined and aspiring ~ In today's episode: Biggles reveals her potentially unsettling breadth of knowledge on talking mummies in literature
UHM. JUST COMMUNITY AND THE GRANADA LIVE STREAM. MASTERPIECE THEATRE HAS BEEN PRETTY GOOD LATELY. THAT'S ALL THAT COMES TO MIND AT THE MOMENT.
I'VE SOLICITED TUMBLR FOR LINKS TO HOLY FLYING CIRCUS AND THIS IS JINSY. SO FAR NO BITES. I'VE BEEN FEELING A BIT NOSTALGIC FOR DEAD LIKE ME, AS WELL. MIGHT HAVE TO SEE IF NETFLIX HAS IT ON THE LIVE STREAM.
THIS SEASON OF COMMUNITY IS VERY GOOD, THANK YOU FOR TALKING ABOUT IT ENOUGH THAT I GOT INTO IT.
SO YOU'RE NOT WATCHING ANY DRAMAS OR ANYTHING CURRENTLY? THERE ARE SOME GOOD ONES ABOUT.
Dead Like Me is indeed available for streaming on Netflix, it's been sitting in my queue for ages. They also have the mini-movie follow-up thingy.

Well, masterpiece has dramas. And of course, Granada fits into the drama category, ostensibly. Though we do make it a good deal sillier with our commentary.
Good, my netflix will finally make itself good for something. I loved that show. The movie... I've heard horror stories about it. Much of the original cast is missing.
My television watching, like my everything, is rather fractured at the moment.
I watched the first episode of the Jinsy series last night! Took some jiggering around when I ran into loading blocks, and battles with ads, but I enjoyed the end result. Alice Lowe was in it! And I wanted Tennant's trousers. Though I suppose I'd have to have his legs to pull them off. Something which I apparently wouldn't mind either.
Haha, yes. But hey, that's what I asked for! I've been wanting it to be made into a series ever since I saw the fragmented pilot.
I was going to say something else, but now I've forgotten. Gosh. So um. Oh hey, whatever happened to Brandon? That's not what I was going to say, but it's still a good topic.
He used to pester me quite frequently. He's gone off me like old yogurt, I guess.
I saw some chickens today by the side of the road. Did you ever get yours?
He did mention something about hating you quite thoroughly*.
No, we're sadly still chickenless. I'm not really sure what happened with that, but I imagine it was probably a matter of funds and difficulty building their home. I didn't really think it sounded feasible to begin with, but then, it wasn't my plan.
There was a kitty in my backyard the other day, though. Does that count as having a pet? Kitty wouldn't let me get close, but I decided I loved that kitty.
There have been three kitties in my yard, lately. The first is a little gray and white one that I think lives in a house adjacent to ours. He's tiny and adorable, but is pretty skittish. The first time I saw him, I crouched down, held my hand out and called to him and he meowed at me really loudly, came right up and I petted him for a second, but then he abruptly ran away. Since then, he only runs away from me.
The other kitty is owned by someone else in the neighborhood that I used to know. He might recognize me if I went out to see him, but I wasn't able to.
Wow, I can talk a long time about cats I don't know... Um. Hmm. I got a 50% off coupon for Barnes & Noble and am going to preorder a book?
