*Fancypants* For the culturally inclined and aspiring ~ In today's episode: Biggles reveals her potentially unsettling breadth of knowledge on talking mummies in literature
I... what's wrong with it? D: Is it special? Or... well, it does appear to be a baby. I guess when you're a little penguin you don't really have anything to play with or any means of playing with things, so I guess your only option is... hopping.
Oh. Well, that thought occurred to me. But it doesn't look like a normal seizure. And it could be special, I suppose. But that would just make it all the more special.

Reason: that... did not come out right.
Fair enough. Though I tend only to communicate in that thread in pictures and links. It's a subtle form of communication I learned during my years in Noh theatre.
The part the puzzles me is she should know the difference. She's seen Doctor Who on telly, and she is of course familiar with the Dr. Seuss books from my childhood.
I would assume that it's not so much getting the actual subjects mixed up as it is getting the names mixed up. For example, I very well know that Stephen King is a horror writer from Maine and Stephen Hawking is a physicist with ALS, but sometimes I accidentally say one when I mean the other. Brains handle titles and words (such as "Doctor Who" and "Dr. Seuss") differently than they handle concepts (such as what Doctor Who is about and Dr. Seuss' books).
That of course seems them most likely answer, and yet... I was watching the Christmas Special the other day, and about half way through she said "This isn't Dr. Seuss..."
That's possible... I think my mom generally pays attention to the things I say, but then again there was the whole "Hey, I have a boyfriend. I'm dating Daniel now." "Oh, that's nice... which one is he?" thing four years ago... Mind you I talked about him nearly daily...
