Katie giggled then ran. She was at the top of a hill when she tripped and toppled down.

Snowball was knocked over like a bowling pin.

katie giggled when she stopped rolling. "You ok snow?" she asked her.

(ok there out playing and all that right now. they stumble upon a lost pup but it isn't a wolf. it is a dog!)

(Interesting)

Katie looked around cause she heard a weird noise. A whining. She then looked in a hoe and noticed a baby pup. but it didn't look like a wolf. it looked golden. "hey snow check this out," she said.

Snowball ran over and saw the pup. She reached in and sniffed it. "Funny, it doesn't smell like a wolf"

"wait a second. Thats because it isn't a wolf. It's a golden retriever. I had one as a pet once when i was little. They are just regular dogs and if we leave her in the hole she won't survive long," she said reaching in and picking her up by her scruff. She looked around with light blue eyes that ended up resting on snow. she gave a sad sounding bark.

Snowball nuzzled her. "She's fuzzy!"

"yeah they have thick fur," she siad. "lets go,"s he said leading snow and the pup back to the den.

"Mom! Dad! We found something!" Snowball shouted. Shadow awoke and saw the puppy. "What is that?"

"It's a dog. We found her in a hole," she said. The puppy looked at them questioningly. Celestine looked at the puppy. "she is so cute and fluffy," she siad with a smile. The puppy barked happily.

"The little thing must be hungry. It looks like she still nurses" Shadow said.

"Judging by her size i would say she does. She looks about 3 weeks old. Her eyes look liek they aint open all the way," katie said.

"Well then, better roll over honey" Shadow said nuging Celestine.

Celestine lid on her saide and katie nudged the puppy towards her. The puppy scampered over to celestine and began drinking. Celestine licked the puppy as she drank.

"She's so cute. What should we name her?" Snowball asked.

"how about hailey," katie said. "i like that name," celestine said.

"I think it's cute" Shadow said. "I like it!" Snowball said with a big smile.

the puppy looked over at snow when she was finished and grabbed at her.

"I think she likes you" Shadow said. Snowball hugged Hailey. "You're so cute and fuzzy!"

"sn....sno.....snowball," hailey managed to say.

"Aww, her first word" Shadow said smiling. Snowball licked Hailey on the head. "Kisses!"

Hailey giggled then licked snows nose back. She climbed ontop of snow.
