What's even worse is that there are people that are willling to tattoo bad tattoos onto others. It's like they have no pride for their art form.
|
Well, a tattoo artists income is 90% bad/stupid work based on intoxicated or idiot customers
if they had standards, they would all be on welfare their entire lives

Actually, a lot of places will not do tattoos if the person is intoxicated, at least around here. I love the one place down the street from me that has a sign in the lobby saying "If you're under the influence get the F- out".

The Site of Horrible Tatoos
This has always been one of my favourite topics, because I love the idea of some stupid person permanently inscribing their stupidity onto their skin. The spelling/grammar ones are best, I think. Oh, humanity.
I've never known someone with a bad tattoo, though.

Forget nerdy, it sounds like he's jumping on the 'dark knight' bandwagon >.<
Besides, Joker sucks anyway

My friend has a tramp stamp that she designed herself. And she's definitely not a good artist.

A friend of mine who DESPERATELY wanted a tattoo when he turned sixteen but couldn't decide on what, first wanted to tattoo his entire name on his arm, which is Robert Jan Leslie Daniel 't Jong (he's dutch) but ultimately decided on getting "Friends" on his one arm and "Family" on the other. Which I think is ridiculous really, it looks so childish.

I find that annoying, people who want tattoo's just for the sake of it
if you're going to get a tattoo you should know exactly what you want and why
for example, a friend of mine got a tattoo of two turtle doves 3 years after her parents died, because when they were alive they told her about turtle doves and how they mate for life- the last day she saw them alive, she gave them a clay pair of these birds for their anniversary.
That is a good tattoo, and it looks beautiful on her left shoulderblade. Before she got it she thought tattoo's were disgusting, and she still does to some extent, but she wants that permanent happy memory to stay with her.

I love tramp stamps, even if they're horrible tattoo's they kinda give me a reason to stare at a girls... bum... without seeming like I'm checking them out (in case they are strait/homophobic)
and some girls can wear them really well, others should not be allowed to even think they want one, I can't often find a grey area between those two types.

The creepiest tattoo I've ever seen was a pair of glaring eyes (Edward's actually D:) on the back of a lady's neck.
Another terrible one I saw was a scene from New Moon tattooed across another lady's entire back. Actually most of the fail tattoos I've seen are Twilight related.
I know someone with a stylized lightning bolt between a pair of fairy wings. It kind of looks like a gimped up butterfly. My 5 year old sister probably could have drawn it better. :X
I also don't understand why people get tattoos of cartoon characters like Whinnie the Pooh, or the Care Bears. What's next, Igglepiggle?

Starling - xD That's a good reason to like tramp stamps. I find myself doing the same thing with men. Tattoos are a great excuse for excessive staring.
hrairoo - My sister-in-law is completely obsessed with Snoopy, always has been. So, she has a Snoopy and Woodstock tattoo on her leg. Just about every room in their house has tons of Snoopy crap in it, from placemats to clothing to ceramics... Everything. Just seems fitting she'd have Snoopy permanently on her skin.

nothing that is Twatlight should NEVER be a tattoo, or related to a tattoo
if I see a girl with a Twilight tattoo, I instantly assume she is an idiot

My mom told me the tattoo on her back was a butterfly. It was actually a manatee, and nobody ever told her.
And my uncle has a "scorpion" on his wrist...it looks more like a sea monkey-shaped splotch of blue-green ink.

It's supposed to be funny and unique, but because all the bimbo's get it done it is neither and they are idiots. I hope their tattoo's get infected.
