I know I bug you guys about the forums a fair bit, but hey, I'm back to do it some more!
In the last thread that I made I mused about the possibility of altering the layout of the forum index so more forums could be visible without taking up more space. We also discussed having the subforums visible as little thumbs under their parent forum. The issue with both these options of course is that they'd take time and code to sort out.

SO, my questions to you right now is this...

If I just made some more of the subforums into main forums (like I did with Nation) and gave them the same icon as their parent forum, would the increase in length of the forum index page make you guys lazy? Would you still scroll down to see what was further down?

The area that my beady eye is turned most towards is the media forum, it's two kiddies; music and computers/video games should be hopping, but they're not. If those two become main forums and Media changed to Movies and TV would you guys use them more?

Gimme some answers!

Honestly, I would not. I really don't get much interest off those topics.

I don't look at Forums much, and long ones would make me rather lazy :P

I don't know, if you want to search up something you'd find it easy. It's very well organised ^-^

No. I don't really go to TV or Movies.
I hardly watch the things either.
Long ones wouldn't change my mind either way.

I like it, because people use the wrong subforum all the time, and that would make it easier to know which to use.

I actually would. When I get bored I jump pretty much to every forum (minus the word games) so if it organizes and helps people realize where they're supposed to put something. I say go for it.

My dear dear Jelly, I usually focus on the 16 threads I am subscribed to. Only during the down hours when there aren't many on do I tend to stray into the other forums and post. So quite honestly, my opinion wouldn't help much.

I'm pretty sure those sections aren't 'hopping' because most of the people that chat on Menewsha prefer to talk about things in their Hangout threads or RP's. So if you rearrange it so the Media threads are more visible, you might have a brief surge in activity before we all start ignoring it again.

I don't really go to the media forum, I go to the art and roleplay but I think no matter what this site is wayyy better than other sites I have been on! If you do it like you said I think a lot of people would get lazy, that's just my opinion though...

I'm not sure, i tend to stay in the general and literature areas. If i had to go down there for a friend, or if i was in the sort of mood to discuss music, then I would scroll down. It wouldn't be too much of a hassle unless i visited there often.

I like this. It makes everything more out there in front of you and its easier to see and make decisions as to which thread goes where. Well...maybe I would get lazy sometimes..but eh xD

I have not clue what I would do. It's just one of those things that would have to happen in order for me to know.

I agree with what I've seen so far -- Menewshans don't seem to discuss music, movies, or TV much. We tend to chat with each other and roleplay more, I think. That's why they're not hopping, and I don't think moving them to be visible will change that. ;-)

I'm only on the Role playing forums, Menewsha exchange and Menewsha Nation so it really wouldn't matter to me. You can do whatever you want and I'll be fine with it. XD I'm fine with whatever you do Jelly.

I scroll down anyway to see who all is online, mainly because I'm a bit of a stalker. So to be perfectly honest unpinning the subforums and making them main forums wouldn't bother me at all.

Jelly, you should really just do what you want because no matter what you can't make EVERYONE happy. No matter what you will do someone will be dissapointed, it's of human nature. I think that it would be nice but people would more than likely not look at other threads than the ones they are one. I do that lol but I click on the signature links, sorry if this is annoying I was just thinking.

I actually really only use the roleplaying forum and occasionally the menewsha nation. I don't have an opinion since the discussed forum is a topic I don't go to.

I tend to focus on threads I'm subscribed to and the marketplace. Sometimes I'll check out the spy feature to see if there's something that grabs my attention. So, reorganizing the tabs won't make a big difference to me either way.

I probably wouldn't scroll. Long pages sort of discourage me. XD
