I'm running out of my pomegranate body cream lotion by Bodycology and I am sad. I need to get more, but I don't know what kind to get/what is good/what is bad. :XD What do you use? What would you recommend?
I like fruity perfumed lotions, but not too strong. Preferably cheap though still good. I have dry skin :gonk:

I love using Satin Hands, the new sugar something kind smells the best. And since I words around fuel and other chemicals that dry out my skin, it's a real life savor. i believe they also have a peachy smelling one too.

Satin Hands? Never heard of them, though I'll check it out and see if the dollar store has that brand. Sounds dangerous, working with those chemicals D:

I really like Vaseline cocoa butter deep conditioning lotion.
It smells great, but not overpowering, and my skin, even the parts that are usually really really dry, feel very conditioned and really soft long after I apply it. (:

I use Johnson and Johnson baby lotion, especially the lavender relaxing stuff. I have sensitive skin so it's the best stuff for me, plus it leaves my hands super smooth!

Yeah, Vaseline has always been good, and around for ever, my greatnan used to use it! But the cocoa butter one smells very nice! I like a lot of cocoa butter items as they often have a nice chocolate-like scent that it's at all sickly, just good, and comforting.

I'm addicted to using Body Butter (Body Shop) as a lotion. ^.^' my favorite being white chocolate, white musk, or cherry.
I also like 'Antonio Banderas Spirit - for Women' it's soo nice and silky. The lotion itself is a bit watery, and will sting if it gets into cuts, but your skin feels amazing after one use.

There's not many lotions that do not contain animal products so most the time I have to go to a health store for mine. I use hemp lotion by Jason. It's awesome and 100% vegan. It also is really moisturizing and works wonders on my eczema. It lasts a long time too because a little bit goes a long way with that.

I'm actually not that big on most of the Vasaline lotions exept the sheer infusion or whatever they call it (the stupid one that costs more). So far, it and Oil of Olay are the only two (carried by a regular grocery store) that actually help my unbelievably dry skin.
Mystic: I love hemp lotions, but they're usually so expensive. Where do you usually shop for it? Is there a good online store or something that carries it?

I use plain, old, ordinary olive oil. The type you get at the super market. It's cheap and there are no obnoxious chemicals involved. I just put a small drip of it on my hands (on the rare occasion that they are dry) and rub them together.

@Polaris: I normally get it at a health store here that carries vegan products. I normally $7 for a tube that lasts me a long while. Thejre website can be found Here.

Really? See I hate oily lotions because it just feels so gross on my skin and makes everything slippery if I touch it :XD But if it's only a drop or two then it can't be too bad, right? I'll try it.

I use Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion on my face regularly. It doesn't really have a smell but I love it. <3 For my body, I like Bath and Body works stuff. My favorite scents a sweet pea and twilight woods.

Olay Quench Ultra Moisture is the best for me.
Working at wallyworld dries out my skin so bad when handling boxes and such, and this lotion doesn't wash off super easy either. And it smells nice to boot.
Rouge magazine sends me their magazine and I use the coupons to buy it at a lesser price since it runs about $6US for 8.4 oz (250mL). Give it a try when you see it attached to Olay body wash as a bonus. The body washes moisturize too.
[/end shameless advertising for Olay]

I like the Bert's Bees face lotions - and for my hands I use Dr. Bronners/ Sun Dog Magic or Aveeno, or badger balm - I generally try to get lotions that are organic because I worry about all the crazy chemicals in a lot of lotions and boy care products.
My husband really likes the badger balm and uses it every night on his hands (his hands get really dry and he picks at his fingers a lot so this is a huge help for him and I don't have to yell at him to stop picking as often!)

If I buy lotion I usually get CVS brand lotion, it's really good stuff, some are really nasty and greasy and gross though, while others are the perfect moisture. You'll have to test them yourself though to figure out which you like best, I love the Pomegranate Apple. :D

Olive oil might not be a bad idea, though.

I forgot Bert's Bees makes lotion now, too. I'll have to give that a try as well. I'm not so sure I'd be into the oil; I've used body oil before and it never really helps with the dry, flakeyness for me, just makes everything slippery.

I like good smelling lotions on my arms and legs, but not on my face. Since it's so close to my nose, it makes me nauseous :XD But I'll look that up!
Kaylesha Blackheart:
Haha that's okay! I've heard good things about Olay but it seemed a little more pricey than what I was looking for. But if I see it attached to the body wash like you said, I'll try it.
siaasgn:
I didn't know Burt's Bees made a lotion :o I have their chapstick though. I'll keep an eye out for it. The chapstick works wonders, so I'm betting the lotion does too
monstahh`:
I don't know what CVS is :gonk: But I do love pomegranate!
Kaizy-Kat:
I had a lotion buy Queen HelenE. It worked pretty well, but it seemed kind of oily to me.
Polarisld33:
Yea, that's what makes me hesitant to try the pure olive oil :gonk:

@Pweep - it's a drug store type thing, ever been to a Walgreens or something like that?
Anyway, Bath and Bodyworks is also a really good store to check out. Their products are really nice and smell fantastic.
