As soon as people meet me and they find out where I'm from they always impersonate my accent. It's always the same words.

Ah, yeah, it is usually English accents that people impersonate, they all make them really posh, which is so not how the majority of England speak xD

Nothing wrong with having an accent people wish they had o.o every time I see someone trying to impersonate an accent I just smile a little and figure they'll never quite get it...that and they're obvious want of mastery, even if it's only for parody purposes, is rather telling in and of itself.

Well, basically Och is just a word Scottish people throw in to sentences for embellishment (I know I do anyway xD). Aye is a form of saying yes. The...is the. Noo is how non-Scottish people believe that we pronounce now xD

Makes perfect sense. I'm not a big fan of my own voice, but have no problem sounding like an American (more specifically a northerner)...even if it isn't the spiffiest accent in the world (far from it in fact).

I quite like the northern American accents in general. My very favourite American accent would be the Californian accent though <3

Hmm I find Californian accents rather silly at times (well some of them)...strangely enough I've not really thought on them long enough to have a general opinion of them beyond that. o.O
