First of all if this is in the wrong place I am so sorry.
So lately I have been thinking about shoes a decent amount and I was wondering what type of shoes do you guys like?
I'm mostly a converse and flip flop type of gal. I think I one one pair of heels that I only wear when I have to dress up for things.

I like pink shoes :ninja: I like small shoes, nothing big or bulky, and I definitely like girly. I rarely ever wear what you guys call "sneakers" any more because I feel sloppy in something that casual. I think shoes are the safest clothing item for being brave with colour, and brightly-coloured shoes are super cute, too!
I won't ever buy black footwear unless I need it for sensible stuff. The last 3 pairs of shoes that I bought were two pairs of red and one in patent purple, all flats, and I love them all =3

Hmmm, I really love wearing different things. Sometimes, I'll feel extremely girly and wear a pair of heels, especially when I feel the urge to look sophisticated and smart. Sometimes, I like to wear buly Vans or Ecko, when I feel all grungy and punkish, and yes, I have those moments, but they don't happen as often anymore, I feel like I'm growing out of that because it makes me feel extremely masculine. I can't stand flip flops though, and no offense to anyone, but they make me feel cheap.
I used to wear converse all the time with everything, dresses, skirts, jeans, shorts, you name it. but it was more of a phase, when I was quite "rebellious" and wanted to be different from everyone else. I realized everyone wears them so I wasn't really differentiating myself from anyone.
So I guess to summarise it, I mainly like ballet flats, heels, and MAYBE bulky shoes if I feel like it.

Ah cool I can't stand heels mainly because I have bad balance and they make me feel like I am gonna fall down.
I wear my flip flops because there easy to slip on when running to class and I love my converse cause there comfy.

I actually have a thing for boots. Like, Doc Martens or combat boots or even work boots (which is what I'm wearing often right now - found them in an ally, a little beat up but in perfect condition on the inside and they were my size (: ).
I like the feel of weight on my feet. A little bit of an extra workout while walking is great since I haven't found a gym around here yet.
I also really like just going bare. No shoes, no socks (though, I love socks sometimes).
So I'm either big clunky shoes/boots, or no shoes/boots at all.
I like sitting cross-legged and stuff so have nothing on my feet is great. xP
As far a shoe style is concerned I love mary jane stuff and I like platforms. Oohhh. And buckles.
I have some really nice 4 1/2 inch platform boots that buckle all the way up my calf. No zipper. They're great.

I don't have a lot of shoes. I think I have three pairs. Two sneakers, and the other are sandals. I like loose fitting sneakers, and where I can easily slip them on without having to spend a lot of time, if any, tying the laces. I don't really like the shoes that have the lace on top, but the tie itself is hidden, like within the shoe. They always agitate my toes when I'm walking, though I do have a pair of those since they were a gift. I made sure to flip the laces on the other pair I got, so the tie is on top rather than inside.
I go for comfort rather than style. After all, who really goes out looking at people's feet?

I actually only have one pair of shoes that I wear regularly, and they're boots that lace up and come a few inches past my ankles. They match almost all of my outfits, so I wear them practically every day. The weird thing is, I've gotten so used to wearing high heels as a result, that I actually find it somewhat difficult to walk in flat shoes now. xD
I have another pair of boots that come up to my knees and a few pairs of high heels for dances and such, but I don't really have that many shoes. I don't often find ones that I like, so I normally just wear the same ones constantly.

Sandals....I like leather sandals and I have a rather nice pair with little beads in the band that goes across my foot. I don't like closed toed shoes (no wiggle room for my toes) and flip-flops annoy me (I don't like the bit between the toe and there's nothing in the back to keep it on my foot when I run or work) so sandals it is for comfort and practicality. The only thing better than sandals is no shoes at all. I also hate socks, I loath wearing socks.
although in the winter I like a sturdy pair of boots.

I love all kinds of shoes, especially boots and converse and vans.
But most of my shoes are cheap sneakers from payless.

Most of my shoes are converse I have been wearing them for awhile and when i get new ones I tend to not throw away my old ones so my closet is full of them and they all end up with holes in them

I love knee high boots but have horrible trouble finding any that I a) like, and b) fit me :( I really dislike clunky, blocky boots, I also don't like the pointy toe/stilleto heel combo so that means most are out xD On top of that I have really skinny calves so a lot of the time a nice leather boot will look like a bucket on me >_>.
I have a fantastic pair of chocolate brown flat suede boots that I wear constantly during 3/4 of the year xD They're uber-comfy and look great over jeans and with skirts. They're lovely and warm too as they had a quilted lining. But I do dispair at finding boots as ones that fit my calves cost around £150 a pair

I don't think I would ever pay that much on shoes. I think when I spend $60 on a pair of converse that I'm spending way to much money but I just can't help my self.

Aren't you just buying the brand there though? I'm honestly amused by the amount of you buying Converse, I suppose you haven't really developed a true sense of self yet so you're just wearing "teen" stuff.

I buy them because they don't hurt my feet (most other shoes do) and I can fence in them. So I don't really think I'mm buying them just for the brand.

I love shoes that look interesting, unique, cute, fancy... My favorite type of shoe is a boot. I like a wide variety of styles, though. The only types of shoes I really hate are athletic shoes (you know, the big puffy tennis shoe or skate shoe kind). I don't like open-toed shoes or "peep-toe" shoes, either, but sometimes it is nice to have a pair of sandals or flip-flops. Pretty much any dislike can be surpassed, though, by making the design really interesting.

I like Timberlands and DC shoes. I prefer just black or plain colored shoes too. For running shoes, my favorite pair is Asics although it's hard to find a pair in my size because I need wide and most stores don't carry it. At a result I have an old pair of them that's simply falling apart.

Flipfops and sandals, definitely. I like my toes to be free and not feel squished. I don't mind sneakers or boots though. But certain closed shoes feel really awful to me, mainly dressy kind. And forget high heels. I hate those with a passion. I tried to sell my only pair of high heels in a garage sale, alas, no one bought them. DX
