That's too bad. It'd be really neat if you could go between consoles and PC.

8 weeks till I can play minecraft again... I wanna build pretty things. The server is going to look sooooo different when I get back. I just know it.

I prefer the pc version.
Both because you can use mods/texture packs to make the game look much better and because you can set up your own servers to play on with your own rules and whatnot.

And as far as I know, the console version is only survival mode. Which is okay, but I prefer creative mode, just because of the size and complexity that I build stuff in.

Only Survial mode on console? I'll stay with my PC version. I like texture packs far too much.

i hate it when i finaly finish my house and im about add the door then a frickin creeper comes in all.....ssssssssssssSsSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSssssssssssss ssSSSSSKABOOOOOOOOOOOM. Im still homeless.T^T

I have a whole herd of cats and a few dogs too. Creepers can't blow up my current house because I built it on the top of a massive jungle tree and put torches everywhere so they can't spawn. On my other world, I just put my house on an elevated hill with a fence around it.

nah console version is based off of the PC Beta but,within like 2-3 updates it'll be the exact same as the pc version

Playing a console version of minecraft seems so weird to me. One of the things I like about the game is how customizable it is. Can you use texture packs, custom skins and mods on a console version? If not, sounds less fun. And I'm sure the controls would confuse the heck out of me. D:

This is perhaps the only game other than Pokemon that I've just instantly became addicted to. I started playing last summer on my friend's account [still in Beta] and I totally loved it. I never veered off of Creative Mode because I figured "Why in the world would I want to have to go working to get supplies?" I finally ended up dipping my toes in the shallow end of Survival Mode once the game officially exited beta and I fell in love. I became fast friends with many freshman boys who I found out played, and we've started servers together. Now, I'm in a server run by my best friend with about twelve of our irl friends. If you've got a powerful enough computer, I strongly recommend running a server of your own to play with friends, or if you're daring in the world on online gaming [unlike me] Google some popular, free servers in Minecraft to join.

I've enjoyed creating the skin for my character, but I cannot stand hearing the cave ambiances. Especially at night. It took me the longest time to figure out why I kept hearing trains, airplanes and monster growls. It's absolutely terrifying!

I usually play with my boyfriend..on peaceful. I know this is sad, but I cannot stand zombies even if they dont even look like one anymore. My zombies in my game are shark men.. but I'm not really a first (shooter) video game player. Meaning I don't enjoy monsters coming towards me.

I get flaily and panic easily. Im scurred. XD

Oddly enough I haven't been playing much minecraft lately, so no worries Ginkaida, the world won't be toooo different.

The new beta-update for the PC was very spiffy! I've been playing on a creative server so long I forgot how enjoyable survival could be. I have become rather obsessed with breeding cows, pigs, and especially chickens. I have hundreds and hundreds of chickens.

You use the same texture pack I'm using right now, high five you you!

It's lovely isn't it? So much better than the stock texture pack.

I hope it's updated by the time the new update officially comes out.

Yeah I really like it. It's very clean and smooth since it's a fairly high resolution texture.
I should take some screenshots of some of the stuff I've made on my server.
