Around here, it's expected to earn your gold by posting or playing games. You can earn up to 250 gold per day from games. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

You change your avi (skin/hair/etc...) under 'avatar' and you can put clothes on under the 'inventory' tab.

Of course, when you first start you won't really have much (if anything) but it shouldn't take you too long to be able to get some nice clothes. If you've come here from a place like Gaia, you'll notice that gold is a bit harder to earn on Menewsha but this turns out to be a very good thing as you won't have to worry about inflation pushing the rarer items into an impossible price range.
