Ari blushed at Nassii's wink but nodded. "Of course. I wouldn't want you to feel uncomfortable." Ari chided herself quietly for being rude and watched as Nassii walked over to his bag and pulled a sting intrument from it. Excited to be hearing some music Ari was nearly bouncing in her seat. "Is that your favorite?" She asked with a smile the whole time waiting in anticipation for him to begin playing.

Dream noticed that her voice had quieted. "I... found myself here as well. That is very strange. I have never had this happen to me before..." He looked around the forest, then turned his gaze back to Whispers. He thought about returning her to her group. If they were all in this strange forest, there was definitely safety in numbers, and he felt something uneasy creeping its way through the forest.
"Perhaps in a case sure as this, we can give each other a small amount of trust. Since we are all strangers here, the best idea would be to stay as one solid group, would you not agree?" He sheathed his sword, looking at her and holding his hand out to her. If she would take it or not would be the question.

Startled by the offering of his hand, she paused for a moment and then placed her hand in his. Curious, his skin was so soft although she could feel the callouses on his palm. "Yes, perhaps that would be best. They were headed towards a camp when I sensed you. There was a pixie we came upon who ran into a tree. She said it was not far up ahead."
Suddenly becoming shy as she became very aware of her hand in his, she gave him a small smile. "I think they were back that way." She gestured with her free hand towards the east. Suddenly she grew uneasy, sensing...something.....coming through the forest. Looking back up at him she could see that he felt it too. It seemed that they should defiantly get back to the others quickly. Who knew what these strange woods held.
As she started to lead him back to the others she felt a wave of hunger hit her with stunning force. Of course, I haven't eaten since yesterday. I hope I don't pass out before I find something She felt herself start to stagger and felt the oncoming of a fall.

"One of them." He nodded, taking great care when pulling out his violin. It's bow was actually kept in a secret pants pocket that scaled the long bone on his thigh. When at last he had both pieces out, he took a few moments to make sure it was in tune.
He set his bow upon the string and was just about ready to play when he asked, "Are you sure this won't wake your friend?"

Ari smiled as she watched Nassii tune his instrument and placed her chin on her knees as she waited. At his question she glanced back at Del and then shruged. "If us talking this entire time hasn't woken him up I doubt that some music will." Ari smiled brightly and waited as patiently as she could for him to start playing.

Dream noticed her smile. Deep inside of himself he smiled as well, but on the outside he kept his cool posture. He lead her away from the darkness he was sensing. He could feel it drawing closer him them, but it was moving slowly for the moment.
"More people you say?" He turned to look at her as he walked. "A pixie? Curious. I have not seen a pixie in many many years. It should be interesting. Did she happen to mention what kind of folk she was with in this camp of hers?" Dream was very curious on who was there exactly. He was a skilled fighter - among the best in home - however with his height it gave him a great disadvantage to those around him.

She looked up at him. " I think I heard her say something about some demons and perhaps an angel. She did mention a human...she didn't seem to like her very much." The growing unease made her distracted. Suddenly she stumbled over a tree root. Forgetting she had Dreams hand she started to catch herself and instead of jumping backwards into thin air suddenly found herself up against Dreams chest. Eyes wide with shame she started to move away from him.
Panting slightly, Prygus ran swiftly towards the forest away from his pursuers. Some people are so touchy about a few apples! He had stolen three golden apples from the estate of Lord Ashcroft. Who knew he had a crow lookout? He couldn't plan for everything after all. Dogs he had been prepared for, even a small dragon, but a crow?
Looking over his shoulder he noticed the guards were getting closer. "It's gonna take you more than that to catch me," he called back to them, laughing. He put on a burst of speed and ran into the forest. They'll never catch me now! Still running he flung himself up in the branches of a tree. Springing from branch to branch he covered distance like it was nothing. Panting more heavily now he judged from the silence surrounding him that he had outrun them. "Shew! That was a close one" Looking around he decided to drop down and see where he was. Wait, this doesn't look right.... Looking around all the trees looked different. Where was he? He could hear running water close by and decided to move towards the sound.

He paused for a moments. Demons would be a problem. They were strong, and could not be trusted. He had come across many in his time, but hated each encounter. He hoped for the sake of the group, this time around would be different. The rest of the walk was peaceful until he felt Wicked begin to fall. She had jumped back, subsequently landing in his arms and against his chest. She was soft in his hold. He looked down at her, his eyes still as cold as ever. When she moved away, he thought about hold her against him, and his muscle tightened for an instant, but he eventually caught himself and relaxed, letting her free.

Unnerved by her sudden appearance in his arms she stammered slightly. "I-I apologize. I didn't mean to fall against you like that." Steeling herself again she looked in his cold eyes. For the brief moment they had touched it seemed as if she was on fire from just the feel of his skin. Shaking the feeling off she started to move forward again. Hopefully she had not embarrassed herself more than she thought.
No longer holding his hand, as he had not offered it again she began to look for the place she had entered the forest.
As Prygus neared the sound of the water he thought he could hear the sound of voices. The rushing of water turned into a roar as he came upon a waterfall. Astonished he looked over to the right where he could just make out what looked like a camp. Well I could either stay here or go find out who made that likely looking camp and if they are friendly or not He started to walk around the waterfall coming up on a clearing where it do look to be a camp of sorts.
A tantalizing scent wafted through the air to him. Mouth watering he realized it had to be the smell of cooked boar. All of a sudden his stomach gave out a loud rumble. He realized he hadn't eaten anything in several days except for the stray fruit aside from the golden apples. Those could not be eaten. They were for a different purpose entirely. He concealed them as he walked into the camp. "Hello the camp," he called out.

He walked close by her side, following her. He was certainly getting hungry; it had been so long since he had actually sat down to eat. As he walked, he noticed something. The presence of the others seemed to be fading. He looked at her curiously, but continued to follow her. He actually didn't mind walking alone with her, getting to know her might be a good thing. He could definitely use an ally in such a strange place. I have also not had a lover in some time... TThe thought was fleeting, but it certainly passed over him.

Intensly aware of how close he was to her, she kept moving forward. Frowning slightly she took in her surroundings. Somethings...not right. Stopping abruptly she looked closer at the trees. These were different than the ones she had passed on her way in. Maybe she had gotten turned around.
Furious with herself she realized that she had not been using her senses, being overwhelmed by the sheer attractiveness of Dream. Combined with the touch of his skin, she had completely ignored her senses and plunged forward without thinking of the direction. Closing her eyes she opened her senses once again and realized they had come quite a ways from the original trail. Not wanting to let him know she had been completely distracted and had lost the trail she tried to start up a conversation in order to divert his attention from the fact that they were headed back towards the original trail. "So, Dream, where do you hail from?"

Dream looked at her. His home... "I was originally born in a sacred wood. I was never told its name. Shortly after my birth, it was raided, and my Mother and I were shipped into trade. I grew up as a slave to who ever wanted me. For the longest time I did not have a home. Before my mother and I were separated, I found out what had become with child once again, but shortly after that I was sold to an other owner. Whose child it was, I do not know. There were many male Fae in the slave trade. It could have been anyone. I have no idea what happened to my mother, nor my sibling.
It wasn't until I was half way through being a teen did I escape my fate. I found the nearest forest to me and settled there. I was taken in by a family and given the name Dream. I lived there most of my life. The old man who took me in taught me how to fight. When he died, I became head of the village seeing as he had no heir of his own. I inherited his sword as well. My home... my only home, is known at Lacaii."

Not realizing she had stopped, "So young, to have been through so much," she said softly. She felt the sudden urge to comfort him but held herself back. So far he had given her nothing but coldness, although she had thought she had felt his chest tighten just a bit when she had fallen against him so clumsily. He must be missed if he is the head of his village...
Through his story he had given nothing away, not even a hint of the pain he must have kept locked away. She looked up into his eyes with no pity only sorrow for what had been taken from him. She found herself caught in his eyes, unable to look away.
Moving into the middle of the clearning Prygus saw where the wonderful aroma was coming from. perhaps they won't be too mad if i just take a slice He grinned suddenly. He was a thief after all. He swiftly took his blade and cut off a chunk of meat. His mouth watering he started eating ravenously. mmmm delicious! Looking around it seemed as if the camp was empty for the moment. With a full stomach he found himself getting sleepy. It had been a long run after all. Spying a hut nearby he walked over to it. Peering inside he saw the form of a very beautiful girl sleeping. Not wanting to disturb her he looked around again for a place to rest. Spying a bush that seemed to be in the shape of a bed he walked over to it. Placing his hand on it he found, much to his surprise, that it was soft just like a real bed! Testing his weight on the top of it he jumped up and got comfortable. Sighing he closed his eyes and was asleep in seconds. A light sleeper he would awaken at the slightest sound and had his blade ready to use in a moment.

Dream looked down at her. His eyes that had normally been so cold for once held a glint of something else in them. Deep down inside this man lied a bottle filled with the pain and hurt that he had felt his entire life. He had shut it out for the most part, but in this instant a small portion of it became apparently. He gazed down into the girls eyes. He was not used to speaking of his past. Even the old man have never fully known his story. He felt telling people only burdened them, so he learned to struggle with his problems on his own.
"Young... I once was. I am much older then I appear." Unconsciously, he raised his hand and placed it on her cheek.

She felt her breathing increase slightly as his hand touched her cheek. Something about his touch seemed to set her on fire. She noticed the cold look in his eyes had changed into something else. She could see just a glimmer of the pain he must feel inside in his eyes. Not being able to stop herself she pressed herself closer to him, not quite touching but close enough to hear the beat of his heart. She wanted nothing more at that moment than to comfort him, let him let go of some of his pain. She held herself back from actually touching him, not wanting to comfort him if he did not wish it.
"Young...I have not been young in some time as well, no matter my appearance." She spoke softly, knowing as close as she was he would have no trouble hearing her. She trembled slightly at the strain of being so close yet not having any contact except his hand on her face.

He watched as she drew neared to him. He had no idea what pushed him to react the way he did, but something in him felt like it was going to boil over. No other had bewitched him in such a way, and it was almost maddening. He didn't know what possessed him to move, but he did. Before he knew what was happening, she was lightly pressed against him, and his arms were around her.
He closed his eyes and rested his head on hers. He breathed in her scent, but just barely. Her smell was intoxicating. He paused for a moment, letting the embrace linger before trying to decide where or not he should let her go. He spoke to her quietly. "You eyes seem almost more sad about my tale then my own..."

She let out a slight gasp as she found herself in his embrace. Moving hesitantly her arms wound around him as well. She struggled to clear her head for a moment, caught up in his touch as she was, just so she could answer. "I...," she faltered as she felt his heartbeat. It seemed to be racing, just as hers was. "I just feel as though you were made to suffer and that....that makes me sad...."
Usually she hid her emotions from people but something about him compelled her to be honest. She breathed his scent in, making her head swim with how wonderful he smelled. She could feel his body, muscular and toned. Everything seemed to be in sharp relief as she gently rested against him.

After a few more moments, Dream released the girl from the hug, lightly kissing the top of her head as he he did so. Her hair was soft against his lips. It had been so long since he had felt any for of embrace. The last one had come from his Mother all those years ago. Once parted from her, Dream shut himself off to emotions.
In this one special moment, however, he allowed himself to feel again. Carefully he slunk down against the tree, yawning softly. He was exhausted, even though he had just recently woken up here. His body was calming itself down, and allowing for him to for once lower his guard and rest easy. "Come..." He said quietly. "Tell me of your home..."

She slowly lowered herself down next to him. Her heart slowing down a bit she got comfortable. "Well, I wouldn't say that I have a home exactly. I grew up in a small village, where survival was essential. Great beast roamed nearby and one always had to be on alert. At a young age I was trained to fight and sent for training in stealth and cloaking once I was able to master the basic skills of defense. Along the way I was taken, by an assassin. He had mistaken me for another child and realizing his mistake, instead of killing me he decided to keep me with him.
Like the man that took you in, this assassin was starting to grow old and had a need to teach someone else his art. Taking me far away from the place i grew up in, he began teaching me his skills. However before he could finish his teachings, he became ill and soon passed away. Along the way we had never stayed in one spot for too long and he taught me how to live off the land and woods.
Ever since, I have never let myself become too attached to any one place, always moving on after some time has passed. It allows me to see new places and new things while at the same time being prepared for almost anything." Amused she glanced at him thinking to herself I do believe you would be one of the exceptions A ghost of a smile played across her lips as she realized just how tired she was. They would need to find food soon, but she was just so tired. Taking a chance, she leaned her head against his shoulder. She gave out a small sigh as she felt herself becoming drowsy. She felt safe with him, something she had not felt in such a long time. Safe, what a fragile word.
She felt her eyes closing as she slowly drifted away into sleep, her head still resting on his shoulder.

Chiko kneeled down and touched the beautiful looking plant beneath her. "Ive never seen that before. Nelphin, isnt that a nice flower?" she said and squeesed her teddy. "These trees are so huge, I feel so smaall here. Where am I anyways? Lets go, Nel, and explore the forrest. That will be fun!",she giggled loudly and ran through the woods.
She stopped after a few minutes and harked. She heard voices, and howling from a wolf. Besides that, she heard crackling sounds near her. She smiled and ran toward the voices. Quiet, melodic voices. She stopped after a few miles and saw a water fall. "Oh so that were the voices? And I thought- never mind. Ive got you, Nel."

Dream woke up and stretched. He noticed as soon as he did though, something was laying against him. Cracking one eye open, he looked down at saw Whispers. He paused for a moment, just gazing down upon her. In sleep she seemed so innocent, so helpless. He carefully brushed her hair from her, then continued to gently run his fingers through it. Even as a slave, he had been told that he was a passionate lover. Every woman who had ever woken up beside him had always found him either humming something or just simply flattening their hair. Most figured he longed for something, but never did anything about it. He was a slave, what did it matter?
