How many of you are Michael Myers fans?

I love the original movies, even the third which has absolutely nothing to do with Michael Myers... twenty more days until halloween, silver shamrock lol!! I saw part four which is cool, but I thought part five and six were not as good, but I did like the seventh installment with Jamie Lee Curtis' reprisal as Laurie. I really loved this series as it fits the season lol. Mr. Sand man-- give me a dream lol
However, I will add that the eighth installment of the series, I think just totally sucked because they killed Laurie off which was total bullshit. I think they should have just ended the series at part seven. I thought that was a more than sufficient conclusion to the series. The Rob Zombie remake was interesting true but just a bit too gory. I haven't seen the second one that he remade so I would like to hear what everyone thought about that one; I also have heard they want to remake the third season of the witch. That will be interesting if they follow somewhat in the series. Just something about the originals holds true nostalgia especially for people who like this genre who are close in my generation group. The music, the actors, the whole spirit of the movie overall. lol

I love the Haloween series!! Especially the 3rd one that's just kinda randomly shoved in there!!

I didn't watch any of the real new ones (I think the last one I saw was made, like, 10 years ago or something). I guess I'm just a huge horror movie fan. :)
