@nonsense: I really am not that into sports. I just know a tad about football because my mom is nuts about it and always has been. ^.^ My dad hates all sports, though. It's funny how the roles are reversed that way in my house.
I'm a try everything once kinda girl, so I'd give that a try, too. :) I'm not a big fan of alcohol, but I like trying a little snort of every kind.
I think there needs to be a second bridge of Kia Souls, then. I don't like them. >.>
@Ser: This is one of my favorite times of year, too. :) I'm always happy knowing the holiday season is starting.

Same here. I love Autumn, the cooler nights, the apple stuff, holidays coming up. I can't wait to go to the store and buy Halloween stuff and decorate the house :)
Then I can't wait to decorate for Christmas :)

Mhmm. :) I want to go to Halloween stores and stuff. I adore Halloween, and Thanksgiving, and Christmas. :) I just love the cooking and the calmer nights...the warm clothes and crackling fires.

I'm bummed that yet again I'm away at school for halloween, but eh, I'm fine with it. But, I am excited I get to decorate and then cook all these nice baked goods and soups. If I think of it, I'll read a soup cook book I got from mike's brother a couple years ago ^^

I love decking the hell out of my house for Halloween. :3 I break out the boxes of orange and purple lights, the creepy music, the gravestones...start laughing like I'm possessed by something strange at the beginning of October and don't stop till November 1st.
Mmm, soup; I'd love to try making some soups this year.

All I have for lights are Christmas lights. But, I am going to get some Halloween purple lights ^^ I really should :)
I love going to the store after Nov 1 and stocking up for the next years. I bought a sign that reads "Welcome, the witch is in" that I have hanging on my bedroom door that I bought for, I think 75% off at Walmart last year :)
Yeah, his brother got me the book and I have yet to use it ^^" I haven't had a chance. I figure this year would be the perfect year to do so since I would like to make something, and then have a bunch of leftovers to last me for awhile ^^
Mike is obsessed with soups. So, the book is perfect :D

Ach, I'm hungry now. Gotta go grab something.
I have several sets of orange and purple lights. I've slowly collected them over the year and I string them all over outside every Halloween. :) Halloween is my biff around here because my family is creeped by it, but I just love it.

When my dad and I had the apartment a few years ago, it was decorated in a way that you could have sworn we were decorated for Halloween 365
We also had a fake Christmas tree up all year too ^^"

Oh, that's awesome. ^.^ I have an Aunt who leaves a couple Christmas trees up all year long, and they're decorated with photos, etc. When she had a bigger house, she'd have like three trees up during Christmas.

Honey, apples, and alcohol. All swirled together into one intoxicating mixture. Hmmm x3. Cider surprisingly takes awhile to make, like six months.
Fate: Ha xD. Hopefully he can hide during the Super Bowl x3.
Cider, port, mojito, ginatonic, wine, and I know it's a sin, Mikes Hard Lemonade. Try 'em! They're some of my favorites. I tend to lean towards the daintier/lighter side of drinks.
But... but... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zJWA3Vo6TU
Holidays O.o. I hide away from them. Don't burn me at the stake. D: Fire's going to be hell for my complexion.

@nonsense: I've tried Mike's Hard Lemonade. :) I like it, but it kinda scares me. If you left that around a kid, they'd down the whole bottle and not think they did anything wrong because you can't taste the alcohol.
The only thing the Souls have going for them is the hamsters, but their cars are hideous.
Awh. You must have a nutty family to hate holidays that much. /no offense

I agree, the mike's hard and Smirnoff type drinks would be a bad thing to have around kids who wouldn't realise it ^^"
Holidays are fun. ^^
The best part is my family does everything later in the day, Mike's does theirs in the early afternoon. So, I spend the day at his house, celebrate there, go to mine, celebrate with mine... Later in the day. We'll leave his house around 5.30-6 when my family probably finally started to eat dinner. ^^" And we usually won't spend too much time over there, we'll leave my family's stuff around 10ish. Considering Mike usually has to work the day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas (some years) and on Christmas, he's up at 3am opening gifts with his family (I get to start doing that this year ^^"), and I'm up by 6 recently on Christmas... So yeah, we're tired ^^"

Have I ever mentioned the time my grandma let me drink a whole bottle of cherry peppermint schnapps when I was seven?
We usually eat dinner around 3 on all holidays. Christmas we don't get up till about 10 a.m., and then we open presents. I like the days leading up to the holidays more than the holidays themselves, tbh. I love putting the tree up the night of Thanksgiving...watching Christmas movies...going shopping for Halloween decorations...haunted houses...Christmas carols, and house lights...

Serena - Decorating's fun and spoiling your special interest is even more. Maybe you should dress him up like a Christmas tree?
Elysium - Oh yeah, I definetely would keep it away from houses with little kidos! Otherwise I enjoy it :3. It's so tasty and relaxing after a long tiring day.
Oh I agree. But when compared to a toaster they can be quite cute! It's a toaster on wheels.
They're nutty. We're always debating, discussing, and that sometimes leads to... issues x3. We have different religious/ethical/philospical views... friction. XD But I love spending time with my grandparents, I adore them.
Like Serena I'm running around from house to house every holiday. Some love it, some people get burnt out and cranky (me x3).
Lonely, am I the only person who thinks that Smirnoff tastes Sprite? I will admit, the foods not bad on holidays!

@nonsense: I actually have a toaster. If we're talking about the same car. That's exactly why I hate the Soul. ;) More specifically, 2009 Scion XB, and she's my baby.
I can definitely understand. My family always gets into some political debate or another, and I'm just sitting there wishing I wasn't related to my father while he's telling everyone very loudly about how his political views are the only ones that are right.

My aunt's boyfriend always has something negative to say and then goes off on some "know-it-all" rant that irks us all. By the time we go to my family's thing, We're both burnt out an dtired.
I love cooking around the holidays. I bake a lot ^^ Well... I bake/cook a lot now anyway ^^" When Mike comes to visit me in a few weeks, he's getting chili since it'll be colder out :)

Mhmm. That's the worst. While I agree with most of my father's political views (we are at odds on Planned Parenthood), some people really don't, and I hate it when he tries to force them to admit they're wrong.
I am so happy that the colder months are coming. I'm ready to see them come after such a long summer.

Elysium - You're still driving a toaster x3. I prefer the slick curves of a 1989 240sx hatchback with a SR20DET rumbling beneath the hood... to each their own? xD
Ouch >.<. It's not nice to be loud. Or maybe it just hurts the ears xD.
Oh it's all fine and civil x3. My folks are both doctors so there's a lot of expectations :3. I really do appreciate how I was taught to think; research my positions, study my beliefs, and all support them on more than personal opinion. It just makes for a very dry atmosphere when you really have no relationship with them outside of debates and dicsussions. Oh well x3. I generally spend most of my holidays with my girlfriend's family. They're pretty cool and fun.
I've never understood why so many people gripe about Planned Parenthood and other organizations. Sure, maybe Sanger wasn't cool but she's been dead since 1966 xD. If it's law abiding go and support whatever you believe in! Free country and all :3. If you disagree go form a opposing equally law abiding organization. I'm just against the government financing them, because that's just illegal and unethical xD.
Serena, chili's so yummy. He better enjoy it D<. Or else you can just overnight it to me. I love chili :D.

I'm driving a toaster that everyone stops to drool at every time I pull up next to them. ;)
I always twitch when someone brings up politics when he's in the room. I know it isn't going to end well.
It's because Planned Parenthood *le gasp* actually defends women's rights and treats women like people. My stance on the thing is that I don't want anyone to touch it because I know how much good it does for society, and the second people start thinking that they can tell women what to do with their bodies again, we'll be going back to the 1800s.

@Nonsense: Oh, he loves chili. The chili I grew up on he loves. His dad, when he makes chili, makes it in a way Mike hates. His dad will put the randomist crap in it. All Mike wants in chili is meat, beans, spice.
I grew up eating salsa chili with beer in it. ^^ That's what he likes. So, I'm making it for him. Plus it's usually spicy :)
I'm all for leaving Planned Parenthood be and let it do what it needs to do. I would like it if they just leave it be. I am someone who benefits from PP because I am broke, have barely any insurance. I need it to stay the way it is, hell even offer more.

Chili is on my list of things to make this year. I always have a list in my head of shit I need to learn to make.
I am lucky and still get my parent's insurance, but I know if I didn't have it Planned Parenthood would be my only option.
