lol! I'm making fruity drinks after I finish my homework. I have Mike's hard cranberry lemonade (a big can since I'm cheap and won't buy the 6 pack) and fruity vodka (mmm Finlandia grapefruit... I'm almost out :()

Oh yum! The red ones are the best. I may never have children due to how yummy Mike's Hard Lemonade is. Oh, and cider with sorbet. So yummy!

Hm, I've never really had fruity vodka. I rather like straight vodka on ice, how different does it taste?

I'm fine with giving up the fruity drinks (and any alcohol) when I'm pregnant ^^"
I like the fruity vodkas since I'll drink it straight sometimes, and I like to mix my drinks ^^ I like the taste of the hint of a different flavour in it.

I'd be worried when the child was born, if it tastes yummy little children might drink it. And if you don't have kids, no worries!

Maybe I should go buy some flavored vodkas sometime. Too much right now plus I have sixty beers brewing and thirty bottles of wine already done xD.

Yeah, I'll worry. But at the same time, I won't. My parents never hid their alcohol from us and never had a problem with my brother and I trying to get some.

It's really well done with so wonderful little easter eggs.

I'm just guessing that more younger people are having sex at younger ages? Plus counterceptives are way more avaliable to everyone nowadays. Could be something with that. Also there's this entire "you only live once" thing that's everywhere. Whenever I hear yolo (ew...) I think: "you only live once so crash and burn now?". So few people think of the possible consequences of their actions. We're a entitled culture and we only see what's in front of us and never think about the side effects. Nobody thinks ahead so everything becomes, "if it feels good do it." As soon as you try to say different they start calling you a hater. No sir, I just have functioning neurons.
Honestly I stop replying to people when they start giving me those kinds of responses. It's like you know they want to talk, but it's not because they have something to say, it's because they don't want to feel alone.

Your vid reminded me of the Epic Rap Battles of History on youtube. If you want a good laugh I'm sure they'd have plenty of Easter eggs in them for you, too. Not quite so deep, though.

Haha, yes. You put it quite well. I think that most of the issue is that people think that there are either no consequences (as you said) or that they're somehow immune to the consequences. Then when they get f'ed over backwards they just say "oh, my life sucks!" Um, no. You made that choice, idiot.

---------- Post added 09-21-2012 at 06:11 PM ----------

On the alcohol convo: I think that when you make something forbidden is when kids go nuts over it. Of course, there ARE kids who are just mental and will do everything stupid no matter what you tell them.

I wouldn't have any trouble not drinking during a pregnancy. I think I would have a huge issue on the caffeine limitations, though. At least during the first trimester until the caffeine headaches and withdrawal went away.

Serena - Same here, that sort of "education" was just part of my childhood. Still, I wouldn't want my kid accidentally drinkign something that tasted yummy and nothing like alcohol.

Elysium - Exactly! I don't understand the problem of being alone, there's so much to do. I read, I write, I watch, I participate and hobbies that I do myself. I'll go out for a night on the town all by myself, grab a movie, eat at a resturant I like. There's something extremely satifying about doing things by yourself sometimes.

I've seen a few, there's a few really, really good Epic Rap Battles. I do love Ecostories videos though, they put so much thought and effort into them.

I knew someone who ran into a tree and ruined his car. "My life sucks!" Was all you ever heard of him, but running into trees is sort of what happens when you text and drive. Deal with the consequences and get over it.

What's with the "rebel" inside of every kid? You'd think American culture would learn to stop creating movies, books, and whatnot that congradulates this sort of behavior.

For example:
Quote:
The newspaper headline screams: "Eighteen year old slain by husband after giving birth." As you continue reading you learn that the young woman was brainwashed by a strange blood-drinking cult who call themselves a "family," though none of the members were actually related. The young woman's husband was much older than she and had a history of violence. In fact, you learn that her husband used to stalk her prior to her marriage, watching her secretly from the woods near her home and climbing into a unsecured window at night to watch her sleep without her knowledge. Once the young woman, then seventeen, was initiated into a relationship with teh man his "family" encouraged her to marry him right after her high school graduation. The woman reportedly had bruises all over her body after returning from her honeymoon where she also reportedly became pregnant. Her husband was not happpy about the pregnancy and wanted her to have a abortion. She refused, eventually leading to him rippign the child from her womb, then draining her of her blood until she finally stopped breathing. Sounds tortorous and sick doesn't it? But in fact, this is the basis of a tween-teen literary phenomenon called the Twilight Saga....

Yes. It's nice to know that some people in this generation understand that! I love it when I get the whole house to myself with the knowledge that no one will bug me if I'm watching a movie or reading a book, or just whatever. I also like to just go out into department stores and malls on my own sometimes. Nobody telling you to "hurry up, I wanna go hoooome." >.>

My favorite is Master Chief vs. King Leonidas. Not a big fan of Halo, no, but I adore the movie 300.

I get a lot of "why can't I find any good guys to date?" bullshit. Dunno if you get the reverse end of the spectrum on that one, but I hate it. It's like: Try dating someone that's not a carbon copy of the last ass you dated, and/or try staying single for more than two days.

Lolzz. It took me a couple sentences till I realized that was the Twilight saga and then I lmao. I read that series and didn't feel the need to rebel or anything, but I get where you're coming from. On the one hand, the U.S. needs to stay away from censuring things, but on the other hand the mass media is an awful thing atm. What are we supposed to do? Only thing people can do is nonchalantly steer their children away from that kind of garbage.

We are small splintered group, but with our enemies, social networking, Twitter, Facebook, and otherwise our numbers go proportionry weaker as they expand. See, it's just so nice! x3 Another club created!

I have no seen that one, to Youtube!

I've seen it both ways so many times that I don't understand how our culture still has this idea that the female's "always" the better one and incapable of being a terrible person. Everyone is, we're humans. When I was a freshman in high school I decided to be the stereotypical guy and dated the first thing that flowed along (she was my first girlfriend, also). I might not have been the "best" boyfriend but I never cheated on her or treated her badly. She turned into a bad person, manipulative, selfish, rude, and to top it all off cheated on me and left me for another guy. Afterwords everyone immedietly looked at me as some sort of horrible person simply because I was the "guy".

The media through movies, TV shows, music, and so on put so much stock on sex and relationships. It becomes something that people feel they need "all the time" and if it isn't always perfect, it's not right.

The lesson I learned was don't rush it. Sure, don't be blind but take take it at a healthy pace. It was around four years until I got back into a relationship. When we met we were immedietly attracted to each other and despite this we took it slow, spending over a year being platonic friends. Three years of dating later, we're still together. All it takes is some self control and it's not like I wasn't having tons of fun without being in a relationship all those years.

Oh, I read the series! Because I wanted to be able to talk abot how horrible it was. I'm aware that's a terrible reason to read something. I think the problem is parents let the media teach their children, as if it's a attiquate replacement for parenting. I understand the economy does put certain stresses on parenting but you can still teach your children to approach things logically and use some commonsense. Expecting the media and the social structure of high school to raise your children is... well, bad. "I'm fifteen and my true love hasn't been stalking me! What shall I do?!"

@Ser: That's what I was going to say. :) Decaf. :) I suppose I could get my coffee through drinking decaf, and that'd be fine, but I'll have to find decaf sodas. I know there's decaf Dr. Pepper out there, but I don't know how hard that'd be to find.

What I would love to see is decaf Mt. Dew. It's my fav soda, but all that caffeine....

@nonsense: Haha, yup. ^.^ I do have a facebook, but I didn't get one till last year, and I've hated most every second of being on it.

Gawd. I have spent my entire life since I was 14 saying that women are given too much of the benefit of the doubt. Most women are awful. I have met more men that I like the personality of than women by far. I am sick to death of seeing all this shit about how "men should treat their women like princesses" blah blah, barf, blah. Yes, I expect to be treated like a queen, but as I told the last guy I was in a relationship with: I expect to be treated like a queen, but only because I'll treat you like my equal king.

He was so fucked from his last relationships that he said he didn't want to be treated like a special person, and that he thought it was okay for me to be his queen, but not him to be treated the same. *shoots every person that ever made him feel like that*

Sure the relationship ended on a sour note, but he never deserved to feel that way.

And yeah, I think you hit the nail on the head. The media tells kids what to be, not parents.

Serena - I wish caffiene had a effect on me. D: It always tastes a little different though. Does caffiene have a taste?

Elysium - It's helpful for group planning, otherwise I doubt it has a point. Even still, I don't use my actual name and because I'll probably be working for a government law enforcement agency in the next year or two I'll probably go ahead and remove it x3.

Aw... I like that! I'll have to remember that ^^ (King, Queen). :D There has to be a equal give and take in a relationship. Well, or both give it their all. In the end I think we need to take people as people, judging. Judging each person equally. Equality is about holding everyone to the same set of standards, not about loving feelings and flowers.

I've always found it easier to spend time with girls instead of guys. Too bad I've lost touch of all of my high school... well, all of my friends xD.

That's really unfortunate, I hope someday he can move past that. Hopefully he'll find himself in the right place at the right time and change his mind.

I know how we fix this, we kill the Batman.

I imagine I'll just slowly stop using facebook permanently. The amount of narcissism and stupidity that site breeds disgusts me.

Yeah, we were that sickening couple that had all of those cute little lovey dovey nicknames and euphemisms. I'm like that in relationships.

And pretty much. Don't tell me to make you a sandwich unless you're planning on making me one.

I find myself competing with girls, which is why I like men better. That, and I've grown up with a very blunt father, so I appreciate that honesty. It's not often that I've met girls that didn't lie or hold their tongues while they were thinking something bad.

Yeah. I hope he does, too. The fact that I never want to see his face again doesn't mean he doesn't deserve some form of happiness and self-fulfillment.

Nuuuu. Why Batman?

Elysium - It's like 4chan. Without the class.

Aw... (again) x3. That's not a bad thing! It's can be so adorable. The next person you find yourself in a relationship with, do the same. It makes sour grumpy people like me have a smile x3.

My girlfriend's a slightly whacky hyper person, in public I'm socially reserved and monotone. We look so awkward. I'm a little tired of waitresses always going, "aw... first date?"

I say, it's MY kitchen. I don't trust anyone else in the kitchen xD.

It might be the same way with me. Girls compete with girls, guys compete with guys. Even if you're not a competing sort of person you probably get caught up in it anyways. Yeah, too many girls are all smiles to your face and gossiping behind your back. So passive agressive.

Everyone deserves some happiness. Happiness can take someone whose a stupid jerk and make them a better person. Well, once they learn to appreciate it.

I know how you feel, so I had a wife. She was beautiful, like you. Who tells me I worry too much. Who tells me I out to smile more... (Can you guess what I'm watching?)

I think that one's a bit of an overstatement.

Haha, I intend to. ^.^ I can't help myself, especially if I can get the person to do the same to me. I'm a bit of a sourpuss myself, so I have to have somebody who can put an idiotic smile on my face daily.

I think I'd glare at a waitress for saying that even if it was a first date, tbh. Awkwardness: you just made it.

I like it when people cook for me. Just don't burn down my kitchen.

The girl friends I do have appreciate that competition shouldn't be in a friendship. I got to the point that I just drop those people a long time ago.

Exactly. :) I have known a lot of people who had a thousand reasons to be happy, but always saw the one thing that was bad.

The Dark Knight. ^^

Elysium - When you've seen the web I've seen xD.

Well, be sure to find someone like that x3. Idiotic smiles aren't that idiotic. They're fun, and fun's good!

I imagine standing up on the table, thrusting my hands into the sky, and scream: "I'm A FUCKING JUNIOR. Not in high school, in college. Plus we've been dating for... THREE YEARS." But I stop myself, unfortunetely.

That's what I'm always afraid of. My ex-girlfriend almost burned down her house. With a toaster. So... fear? Yes.

Probably for the best, no need for needless competition. A little's fun, but only on stupid pointless stuff.

I wonder why. In the end we all die, why be so upset about everything?

Actually Men in Black 3.

Lol, now I'm hearing some old country song in my head. "When you've seeeen the web, I've seen."

Definitely. I'm a fan of idiotic smiling. It's better than ten glasses of vitamin C.

Just smile at 'em and nod like they're daft (which they are). Then leave them a penny for a tip. ;)

Some people are just born that way, I guess. Too worried about everything to ever see that 90% of what they worry about never happens.

Really? Dang. That sounded too philosophical for MIB3.

Elysium - Oh yes! Most famously covered by Louis Armstrong. And... now I found it. Search functions on music players are so helpful.

But I don't want scurvy. D:

The penny tip? Oh no, couldn't do that. I'll just stay at home x3.

Aw... I don't like to think people were born daft and unfortunate. It's sad, there's so much to be happy for once you start comparing. You're not in a working camp in Siberia for example. Still wouldn't mind several hundred million dollars but there's still plenty to be happy for until I get that.

Oh, no. It's from Batman. I just wasn't watching Batman at the time. Now I'm watching the Avengers. Sort of... a "catch up on films that came out because I've been watching too many documentaries" Friday night.

So what are you up to this Friday night?
