Mhmm. It wasn't quite that bad for me until I was driving the thirty minutes home again. It was just like: "living this far away kills me. I hate it. I don't want to do this anymore."
Feels like I'm driving away from 1000 opportunities every freaking day.

If it were possible for you to be able to get a place there near the campus for a good price. I definitely would do it. It was good for me to live on campus where I go because I am able to somehow meet up with people or do stuff easier since it's there. ^^"
I am thankful I met someone in class and at least friended her on facebook. We talk a lot when we're in class when the professor is having us do stuff in class, we're both from the same area in Rochester also.

At the moment it really isn't. It costs an unbelievable amount of money to live up there. I just get tired of it because I don't get any support from my family on it. They just laugh at me and tell me they won't cosign me on loans to help me out, and that I should just drive up there several times a day if I want friends.
Ahahahaha. Cute. I'd like to see them drive 40 miles (altogether) three four times a day just to be with people. They haven't spent time with friends since before I was ten. Hypocrisy.
That or be the freeloader who's always staying at other people's houses. Yeah. That's a nice image to have.

Yeah, and the gas and time adds up after awhile.
Yeah, they should do it for a few weeks, see how it is.
I always feel bad for Mike when he comes out to pick me up when i'm home because I live almost 30 min away from him. I'm glad he has a good car with good mileage.

Definitely. The gas is a big factor, but the simple time is huge, too. Then it's the reciprocity. If I'm going out to see friends, then I'd want them to come see me every now and then, but that's not how it works since I don't have the better town, or the parent free house.
Yeah. It wouldn't be so bad if you could meet him half way.

Yeah, I wish I drove, it would make my life a hell of a lot easier when it comes to doing anything with friends.
Mike never hung out over at my house much because he hates my mom. ^^"
It would be awesome if we could. ^^"
Right now sucks being away from him like this at school again. But, I'm not 2hr away anymore. I'm only an hour away, so he's all for visiting me more often when he can. Like in a couple weeks

Having people around my parents makes me uncomfortable. They aren't easy people to get along with and have a strong knack for making shit awkward. I wouldn't blame anyone for not wanting to be around weird parents.
Yeah, as far as long distance goes, an hour away isn't anything to worry about.

Yeah, an hour isn't bad. It's just like a round trip to and from my house at home.. Only one way.

It's too bad we don't just have trains going everywhere. I wouldn't think twice about going to different towns for school, etc, if I had a train or a particularly clean and fast bus where I could just read for half an hour instead of being intent on driving and not getting myself killed.

That would be awesome. I would totally go for that. Read a book or something for an hour like that (If I didn't get headaches of course ^^")

You get motion sickness?
I would spend the time studying. Maybe get an iPad and watch movies. It'd be amazing. Remind me again why I live in America?

Yeah, I get a headache if I'm reading something in a moving vehicle. :/
Because we have no way of getting ourselves to another country?

I get kinda nauseous if I'm reading while going down a twisty road. Straight roads I can handle, though...makes me wonder how I would handle being on a big ship on the sea.
Nehhh. I wish it weren't so.

Yeah, I would love to be able to read in the car for long car rides. It gets boring after awhile and all I do is sleep

Gah. When I was younger I hated long car rides to death. Anything longer than three hours and I needed a video player.
Now I don't mind much. I read, do word games, just watch the countryside go by, or listen to music. Generally don't need to watch a movie anymore unless it's like a three or more day long road trip.

I'll usually listen to music. When we went to North Carolina (over 17hr) I listened to music most of the way. That and my parents kept telling me to go to sleep.

Lol. I usually drive a lot on road trips, so nobody is telling me to go to sleep. XD I guess that is the other thing that keeps me "entertained."

Yeah, if I drove, I would be made to drive at times. I think the next road trip I would be taking would be somewhere with Mike, and it would be when I have my license ^^" Don't want to make him drive the entire way.

I actually like to drive on road trips. Gives me experience on the 75 mph interstates, and I think it's good to have that. Interstates don't scare me so much anymore because I've driven them so much. But you're right, it isn't fun to drive the whole way on road trips. It's so exhausting.

My mom joked a few years ago when I still had my permit having me drive to visit mike (with her in the car) so I could experience the 75mph thruway. That never happned. he ended up coming home that weekend anyway.

Hopefully I'll get to learn to drive soon. It's a pain not knowing and being able to get anywhere.

In parking lots ^^" The only road driving I got was when my brother had me in his car and had me drive across a road from one school parking lot, to another.

Awh, that's lame. The day I got my permit my dad had me in parking lots, then on back roads. Don't remember how he transitioned me to real driving. Just sorta got forced to drive everywhere.
