It was irritating to watch. The most I can say is that the mediator freaking sucked. He let Romney bowl over Obama.

There are people on my facebook who don't agree with me politically so I never post on there. Either way, though, that moderator was awful.

Elysium - Sickness must have been lying and waiting. It's such a pain, always going after you at the wrong moments... I always chug down a lot of orange juice with all of those vitamins.

That's terrible. D: Bunnies are fantastic. My bunny is better with the litter box than one of my cats x3. Super cute. Ever seen a bunny eat a strawberry? IT'S FRAEKING CUTE.

Lonely - You're cwazy. It's insanely difficult xD.

Ser - I hope your grandmother gets better!

I will agree, the moderator wasn't very good. Romney did interrupt but President Obama did as well; just not as much. One reason I believe Romney interrupted a few times was because President Obama repeatably went over his allotted time. So in truth, yeah. The moderator should have really kept either from ever having to take place.

Maybe if they give the moderator a squirt gun next time? "BAD! BAD BOY!"

The President's performance was rather poor. It felt like a shower of hollow words. I guess the President's ammunition felt very week. I found when Romney said, "you're entitled to your own home, your own family, but not your own facts" very fitting. Obama went after Romney numerous times and Romney countered basically saying, "you're wrong." I think those shots the President made hurt him. I'm curious what will happen in the next debate.

Romney countered Obama's points very well, using factual numbers while the President seemed unwilling to answer with anything more than just words. It felt like a game of avoiding the answer all evening. Romney stated the doubled deficit when President Obama promised to lower it, the $2,500 increase under Obamacare when President Obama promised to lower it $2,500, the loss of citizen's private insurance, small business's reaction to Obama's tax plans and how they would be less likely to hire, the effect of Obamacare on small business growth, and so on. Romney made sure to put his case straight and reiterate those points while the President just didn't really have any ammunition.

Also, Romney's closing was very well rehearsed and well done. He had the closing statement he'd obviously have a little more of a "pow" but still... I was impressed.

Overall it reminded me of Carter verses Nixon. I can't wait till Biden goes up against Ryan. Ryan is a excellent debater and whipped the President up on the senate floor in the past. Biden on the other hand... not the brightest cookie.

Overall I found Romney did a fantastic job and outright slaughtered. It's amusing to contrast it to 2008 when McCain was absolutely whipped and beaten by President Obama. Tables turn, eh?

@nonsense: Yeah, I knew I had to get sick at some point. Still kind stuffy and runny today. Hopefully it goes down. Cough drops seem to be sufficing at the moment.

See, it'd be nice if all bunnies used the box. I had a friend once who had an angora rabbit and you could not walk a foot without stepping on a dropping. She was also kinda mean.

---------- Post added 10-04-2012 at 11:27 AM ----------

And yes, Obama lost that debate. I was disappointed thoroughly by that. I don't know what happened to him. I just hope the next time around he steps it up.

I knew he was done for when Romney started pulling all of that pathos out of his ass.

Having a bad day. Started the day off getting into a fight with mike.
He had a really terrible day at work today, won't talk about it b/c he might flip out and doesn't want to flip out at me. Even though he wants to talk about earlier today.. just not tonight b/c he would flip out in the mood he's in.
I don't care, I just want him to not hold it in and freaking vent about work.
That and I just want to tell him how heartless he was last night and this morning. Which is what made me provoke the fight today.

Other than that, a bad day for me anyway.

---------- Post added 10-04-2012 at 06:51 PM ----------

Well, least I tried to see if he wanted to talk about it. But nope. I f'd up, got him upset, got me upset, now he signed off messenger and won't talk to me.
Wonderful. There went my night. Well, now my entire day fell to shit. I'm done.

Allergies? I had the same thing over the weekend. If only we had replaceable noses...

Some bunnies are just so mean and stupid. It might have to do with the breed/breeder. I dunno, maybe luck?

I don't understand how Romney was all rhetoric and pulling heartstrings. Romney pounded the President, rattling off statistics and ideas with earnestness. Romney countered many of the Presidents remarks saying, "no, no. You have your facts wrong. I'm not going to do that. This is what I'm going to do, and here's how: blah, blah, blah." Two or three times President Obama attempted to use the same flawed "ammunition" and Romney countered, used statistics, numbers, and his history. Obama's ammunition was really based on "false accusations" and pathos.

The President was almost apathetic. It was as if he couldn't be bothered to counter the Romney's remarks: the 5.2 trillion dollar deficit in the last four years (compared to the 1.17 deficit Bush left), the failure of the 1.6 trillion dollar stimulus, the increased and now eight percent unemployment rate, the one percent economic growth, the multi-trillion dollar cost of Obamacare, why Obamacare would hurt small businesses, and so forth. A lot of those numbers were CBO numbers too. The President instead reached out not with numbers but his "I'm trying to fix it" attitude, attempting to plug into the public's emotion, spinning rhetoric, and so forth. So really, how was Romney pulling pathos out of his ass? You could say flawed statistics, flawed numbers, but Romney wasn't the one pulling pathos out of his ass. That award would have to go to Obama.

This is politics. Both sides are a little more than just a tiny bit hypocritical but I think Obama takes the cake. While the President accused the Governor of wanted to end Medicare (which Romney did answer, directly) Obama's own administration admits that Medicare faces $38 trillion in unfunded liabilities after a nearly $300 billion shortfall. Does Obama have a plan to save it? Another is President Obama's the $90 billion wasted on green energy that Romney brought up right after the President brought up on Exxon's cheating on taxes.

While on entitlement programs I would have brought up Social Security, a program that's running a $22 trillion shortfall. Even Bill Clinton admitted there's only three ways to balance the budget: raise taxes, cut benefits, or invest privately. Obama has ruled out any changes in the Social Security benefits while attacking Ryan for advocating private investments so... there's taxes. That would be around a 50% increase in the payroll tax.

Since the grand old World War II federal spending has sat around 19.9 of the GDP, under President Obama's administration it's skyrocketed to 24.4 percent. According to Congress it will go up to 40 percent by 2040. If you add in all of those other taxes that's 60 percent of all the money made by this country. This leads to the question, "Mr. President what's the right size of government?"

I think the President is rather hypocritical when he says the wealthy don't pay their fair share in taxes. The top one percent earns sixteen percent of all the country's income but pays 36.7 percent of all federal income taxes. They do their fair share of evading taxes but paying them? Hmm. I admit there's numerous things that need to be done to the tax codes, that's a gigantic debate right there in in itself though. Sort of on subject to that, the poor aren't hiring.

Obama on the other hand did miss his fair share of chances. Romney wants to go down to 20 percent of the GDP, higher than the Clinton administration. What programs would the Romney cut to make that happen?

President Obama did point a finger to the differences between Ryan and Romney on their Medicare plans, but not nearly hard enough because Romney kept deflecting. That window is probably gone by now. Romney talks about Obama using $716 billion in Medicare cuts over ten years to fund Obamacare and then says, "nope not going to do that." With Medicare's impending insolvency, is that really possible? How would Romney do that? Why didn't the President push that?

This election is probably one of the most important of our lifetime and with all of the problems were having that's probably really, really, freaking true. While Rodney won the prize for using more numbers and statistics than Obama's sweet talk I will agree, there's still a ton of useless bullshitting going on.

@Everyone: I got to see Wil.i.am today! Stood ten feet from him! He's not my favorite anything, but it was awesome.

@Ser: I just don't have advice to give you, Ser. I mean, the only thing I can do is ask you if he's worth it? I don't see you guys every day, so I don't know who to defend, and I don't know if he's only like this 1% of the time and I only hear the bad stuff. But if this is how he always acts (which is how it comes off) he doesn't sound worth it to me, ya know?

@nonsense: Nah. I don't have any allergies that aren't medicine based. It's just a slight cold. My immune system seems to be staving off the worst of it, but I am feeling it enough to need to carry around cough drops.

Also, ya outknowledged me there, lol. Can't say much in reply to that.

this has been happening a lot lately because I am back in school and am stressed over homework, and things outside of homework that get me overwhelmed will get me upset and stressed, and I'll not "remember" to be a certain way to him when he gets a certain way. I dunno.

He doesn't act like this most of the time. He has his good moments. Though I'm at the point where I'm getting fed up with his other moments and stuff in general much more easily. Especially this morning when he was acting different and got mad at me for me not asking over and over and poking/prodding him to find out what was bothering him. Excuse me, but I don't because I remember when he would get pissed when I would (like this evening) and I'm sorry, I myself have a lot on my plate and am stressed. i get it, you're important to me, but you can take care of yourself, you're going to be 25 in a couple weeks, ACT IT.

Serena - I hope things work out and he changes for the better. I'm sorry, I don't know really what to say. Hopefully something can come out of this evening though? A yummy dinner, a good desert, a few moments of relaxation? I'm so poor with advice... I'm sorry though, that's a terribly unhappy situation.

Elysium - In the words of Waterworld, "MUTATION!" From those with allergies, you're one lucky person x3. Well, hopefully your nose isn't a waterfall of gross icky stuff. I don't know about you, but I like the taste of those classic cough drops. Feel better!

Sorry for all the writing x3. I get a little carried away. Needless to say, I'm not a huge fan of Obama. Not exactly a huge fan of Romney, but due to the circumstances there's really only two choices aren't there?

I called him once, he didn't answer ( I didn't expect him to) after he signed off earlier after we snapped at each other. After I told him i would be back when he was in a better mood because he was acting like he needed to be left alone (which I thought he did) since all I kept doing it seemed was provoking him.
So, he said fine he would just sign off messenger because he didn't want to deal with this
Wanna just ask him "deal with what?" I thought I was being nice. -.-
Oh well, he's acting like a child.

I really don't care if he flipped out. It would have hurt me, but I would have understood why.

---------- Post added 10-04-2012 at 10:00 PM ----------

Eh, if anything good comes from it, it would be him completely spoiling me for my birthday in a couple weeks. And if things do improve. HE BETTER. -.-

Edit: On the politics topic, I'm all for the parliamentary system of proportional representation. I hate our system,
