Yeahh. I had issues with my lit review because sources were awful to come by. The professor assigned us topics, and mine was very strange and I was very uninterested in it.

What was your topic?

Mine, we had to get our own topics about Library Science. I sadly haven't been good with looking for stuff at times. and keeping up on it. I procrastinate. ^^"
Oh well, I'll be fine. I can take time off of work and get it situated. Hopefully I can get someone to take my shift. If I call in, I get a write up that stays with me next semester because it was the last week of classes (which I don't think it's fair of the company to do that)

The topic was about how diversity affects team creativity in the workplace. Sounds fun, huh.

Actually, all of my nasty stuff is due next week which is the last week of classes. Grad classes usually do that, our nasty stuff is due last week of classes. Still some stuff due during Finals. But, I really don't have anything due during finals week, except 2 things. But, I'll try to get that done before the 12th so I can go to work.

@Ser: I have one paper due monday can you tell me whats the difference between primary and secondary sources
@Ely: I'm sure you will be glad to have that paper done and out of the way.

@Ser: I do have one big project due, but the rest are tests.

Me too. That project sucked so much to do. I haven't enjoyed that class much.

@Ely: Yeah ^^" I have something due tuesday, it's a group thing with another girl in my class. She only has 2 classes this semester and is able and offered to do a good chunk of the stuff for the presentation tuesday, but we're meeting this weekend or monday to go over it since neither of us are busy on monday. Wednesday my big ass lit review is due. Nothing till next friday when a lib guide is due (It's the easy one), then I have to work on something due the 10th with the same girl (the finishing touches to the thing we're presenting on tue). On the 12th I have a big ass thing due, but hopefully will get someone to take my tuesday shift so I can spend all tuesday on it. then Wednesday night I have a couple small things due... But those may get moved to the 15th.
I also have to do a few things for my seminar class that are past due. I'm messaging my prof about it.

@Otaku: Primary sources are the documents or objects written/created during the time of study. Films, diaries and newsreels count as primary. Secondary sources analyse primary sources. Like journal articles. This is where I found the information: Primary vs Secondary Sources

@Ser: Thank you I felt stupid because I didn't use any primary sources in my paper and I was supposed to, but I didn't know what they were which is sad because as a history major I should know.

@Otaku: Research Method in Psychology. I don't want to be a researcher but it's a required course for psych majors.

@Ser: That's definitely more than the average amount of finals week junk.

@Otaku: No problem. It's ok. I still forget and I was a Political Science major and now I'm a Library Science student. Heck, I suck at proper citations and I'm the one who has to know these things so I can help people like myself.

Yeah, I think it's a good thing. It's just that it relies too much on knowledge from a class that honestly should have been a prereq in my opinion so a lot of things are confusing.

We used to have a class called "Research Methods" at Fredonia and Mike had to take it. It was supposed to be useful with the capstone senior year.
The Capstone (senior seminar) class used to be a year long with 1 credit in the fall, spring was when the paper had to be due and such.

The year I planned on and did mine, they took away the Research Methods class and made the Capstone 1 semster long. With 1 class offered each semester. My class was the first to do it that way and that started the Spring 2011.

Instead of Research Methods, the professors teaching 300 level classes are to give students assignments or choices to do stuff instead of a traditional paper, you have the option of doing stuff relevant to the class but are elements of what goes into the capstone. that is to help apparently.

I saw a capstone class for my major pop up in my possible class list this semester. Wasn't there before because I didn't have enough credits before I got my transfer evaluation finished up recently.

For my research class, I think the stats classes needed to be prereqs because the material has a ridiculous amount to do with stats and without a stats class it's quite confusing.

Yeah, stats was something we needed to take for that. I don't remember if it was a prereq since I didn't take the methods class.

I took a stats AP course in high school, so I'm slightly more aware than some people, but this research class has still been a push.

Oh by the way, I feel stupid. I just re looked at stuff on ups website for shipping the computer... If I selected using my own box, I could send it ground and it would only have cost me $20. Ugh...
But, at the same time, I'm getting what i would be paying for with this anyway... even if it's a bit over what is right. I need the comp looked at now and taken care of sooner than I would have been able to get if I sent it to Acer. It would have taken 4 days to get there, then 7-10 days for them to get it taken care of, and then send it back would have taken another 4 days. I would be home by then...
Oh well, live and learn.
