I don't use guys. Hell, I don't even have time to go out and meet guys. My school's pretty much just chock-full of shallow bastards, so my trust in the opposite sex isn't very much there.

I had a boyfriend a few months ago. He left me even though he loved me because he thought that he hadn't been a teenager enough or f*@#ed enough girls to settle down. That was his lame excuse anyway. I think he was just scared.

He'd never had anybody who loved him as fiercely as I did. It scared him that I was willing to give my life for him and I loved him just because he was him.

Ely: Technically by choice. I'm very self-conscious when it comes to my appearance so I feel like everyone's judgmental. And I'm picky. I'm just trying not to get hurt.

I'm picky and because of the way this community college is set up a lot of the guys I end up meeting are high schoolers, and years younger than me. I MAY end up dating when i transfer schools, but it depends.

People at my university go to the gym WAY more than I do. I see these chiseled guys and I'm like...damn you're hot but you probably wouldn't go for me anyway.

Oh. Marg: yeah. I've been there. It took forever for me to realize that my body is my body and that people will love it if they want to. I tell people: I'm comfortable in my skin and that's all that matters. As a girl, you've got to be that way.

I don't tend to go after guys, either. I would if I found one that I thought would be worth it. Unfortunately I've no luck with that atm. I keep getting guys after me that are either (a) too old for me. (b) too young for me. Or (c) live too far away from me.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, though. I keep looking back at my failed relationship and looked at how this guy grew up to be, so I'm a little thankful sometimes that I'm no longer with him.

I keep trying to lose weight (actually so far I've lost 20 pounds in the last year) but it's just going REALLY SLOW. I'm especially bloated right now...as girls, you would know.

@Marg: The thing about beauty is that it fades. The greatest gift anyone ever gave me was confidence. A friend of mine told me that I shouldn't hide, I was gorgeous in my own right. She gave me my life back.
