Ya, I'm the same way. I become a total nut case when I'm sleep deprived. And I get sick more often, too.

The mountains sounds like fun! I'm off to go work on some drawing homework. Got a skeleton to draw!

Oddly enough, I haven't been sick once this year. Not even a little sniffle-cold. I've gone through a lot of weird things that have caused me a lot of stress, too...so I can't believe I haven't gotten sick out of the stress depleting my immune system.

Maybe I'm better with stress. o.O :XD

Anyway. Off to get ready and leave! It's an hour's drive up the canyon. Yo estoy mas emocionado.

Yech. The worst I've ever been sick was when I had the flu and a stomach bug at the same time. I think I lost fifteen pounds on that one.

I'll take the flu, and I'll take a stomach bug if I have to, but not together.

eww I'd hate that so bad. I've only had the flu once, and guess what? It was 'swine flu,' given to me by my ever so caring co worker. I don't think I moved at all for a week.

Haha. Man. The swine flu. I'm glad I never got that one...or the bird flu...but at least the bird flu doesn't sound as funny as "Swine Flu." Imagine getting to heaven and having to tell St. Peter that you died of the Swine Flu. Everyone in heaven would chuckle at you. XD

I think I've had the flu twice. My curse was colds for years, not the flu. I haven't gotten even one cold this year. I think it's because I had so many of them, and you can only get the same strand of the common cold once, and there are like...300 or so possible colds that you can get at the moment. I've probably had at least 170 of them. The list is getting shorter. :D

haha I get colds all the time. I've never heard that about them, though. I guess I just figured the actual cold itself was just a group of symptoms that group together as a result of whatever the heck the body decides it wants to wage war against. 0.o

There were two things I used to get ALL the time: Strep Throat and Pink Eye. I've had pink eye so many times that my mom doesn't even care anymore. By the end of high school, when I had it, she'd just throw some eye drops in my eye and send me on my way. I mostly stopped rubbing my eyes, too, since I'm terrified that another crazy lady is going to come up and make me disinfect everything I've ever touched --it happened back in Elementary school (trauma!)

Hiya. :)

I'm jealous. I LOVE rain. I walk outside in it, stare at it through the window if it's coming down, and I'm just a plain happy person when it's pouring outside. I've always been that way. It reminds me of when I was a little girl and when I'd go over to my grandma's, sit in her garage, and watch it rain while waiting to see if there was going to be a rainbow.

Well the rain stopped a few hours ago. :( but it should be back tomorrow. Which I am looking forward to. Just as long as it doesn't soak my bookbag which will have my netbook in it. Registration starts tomorrow for us Seniors for the Fall 2011 semester at 11am and I have class till 1050 and would like to register as soon as I can. (plus I use the netbook for my Spanish class which is the one I have at 10)

That and I also need to register for May term. I'm planning on taking 2 classes from 16 May till 27 May to get them out of the way. I only have to be here for 2 weeks after the semester ends (so I come home 2 weeks late) I just have to do whatever I have to do for that and finish filing for Financial aid. ^^"

My registration starts in ten minutes. Which is why I'm up so late. I forgot about it, but I want to get into a specific class. Even if I decide to drop it so that I don't have to do school over the summer, I want to get into it just in case.

I'm usually up late anyway. But, I have to wait till 11am to do my registration.
This year is a pain in the butt. This Fall is my last semester- I graduate in Dec if all goes well. I had my schedule all figured out, but I found out when I met with my advisor that I still need to do 13 credit hours of outside my major classes. If I didn't get screwed so many times over the last couple years and didn't have the whole- waiting for my aid to kick in and pay off something so I can register for classes but by the time I am finally able to register- it's already 2-3 weeks before the semester starts, so all that is left are all these classes I don't want to take, nothing is available that is outside of the major that doesn't conflict with any classes I have to take. I wanted to take this one history class, but it was scheduled at the same time as my Senior Seminar class which is a required course. -.-
So, I get to take classes over the summer. I'm lucky where I will get financial aid put over to pay off that, even though it will be taken from my Fall aid. But I will figure something out. Plus it shouldn't be too expensive for the 2 classes.

I spent all of Wednesday after my advisements session trying to figure out what I wanted to take and worked out the schedule. So, we'll see. The summer session I'm interested in is only 2 weeks long. I would be coming home 2 weeks later than normal. I'll be fine with it. One big thing I hope can work is that I won't have to change to a different building for the 2 weeks. I have too much stuff that is really heavy (I brought the fridge down because my roommate is from another country) and I can't carry that all on my own... Though if I have to, I just remembered, I have a friend who lives in town and has a car.I have money and we can get people to help us. Sweet. ^^ I think I can persuade her and see if she can get a man to help.

Granted it's not raining, but we do have that wonderful living only less than 15 miles away from Lake Erie wind. :D

Haha. Yeah. I just signed up for a World Mythology class that I've been trying to get into for the last two semesters. It always fills up within two hours of registration opening, so I had to jump on that baby.

It seems I've been hearing a lot about requirements for degree fields changing, lately. I haven't experienced it because I'm just doing a general associates degree right now and things are pretty standard therein. I must admit that I'm bummed from not being sure what degree path I want to take, but it's kind of nice to just do what I want for the moment. I'll have enough of having to fill requirements in the future, I'm sure.

That would be awesome living with somebody from a different country for a little while. Where was your roommate from?

I bloody hate wind. We get so much of it here that we could probably put a windmill outside our house and power the entire city for a week from one wind storm. Annoying. But that's Colorado for you.

That's interesting that you've found a course that only lasts two weeks. How many credits is it worth?

We're supposed to get a pretty good thunderstorm rolling through Savannah sometime tonight, I believe. I'm pretty sure if it snowed here, especially at this time of the year, it could be taken as a sign of the apocalypse.

Elysium: I'm working towards my Bachelor's in Political Science, so yeah. lots of stuff. ^^

My roommate is from China, about living with person from another country- YEAAAAHHH it would be awesome if the roommate wasn't so full of herself and acted the way she does. -.- She's 20yrs old and acts very childish. Plus it's hard sometimes because she claims to be forgetful and I've had to ask her to do things or to remember things or to move things, but she stares at me like she has no clue what I'm saying. She'll jump down my throat about the studpidest things (my moving her mirror). So, It would be awesome, if the roommate you have isn't such a bitch. It's basically luck of the draw. I have more to complain, but I don't want to get angry

The 2 summer classes are 3 credits each, so 6 for the 2 weeks. ^^" It's going to be hard for me, but if I can get it done. I will be happy. ^_^ I filed my FAFSA and now I just have to wait for my dad to give me some info for his NYS tax stuff for the Tuition Assistance Program so I can get that taken care of. Once I get things done with that, I can go and sign paperwork to get some aid placed for the summer and the rest for Fall. After the fall I'm done. :D Oh yeah and also the paperwork and pay for my room for the 2 weeks. ^^"

@Happy: lol! yeah. It would be considered the end. :P Though what's messed is where I'm from, there is snow, but if we have a few days where there's no snow and then snow, people act like they forget how to function in the snow. :D

Bast! Nice to see you around again!

@Happy: lol! We got snow here in May once. That was really rare and we all just sat around talking about the oddness of it until it melted.

@ser: damn. Well, that sure does suck. You were probably all happy to get her as a roommate in the beginning too.

I'm thinking about signing up for a sociology class too. So that would probably give me six credits as well. That would be taken over three months though. I also want to continue on my violin lessons, so that would make it seven credits.

Yeah I was. I was all happy and also said that I would probably be one of the good roommates and be understanding. But she's just too spoiled and such. I can't deal with her at all. And she makes sure to be as annoying and avoid me at all costs. there's a lot more to this but not enough space for me. ^^"
I figured out what I'm doing classes wise. so we'll see how things go.
I have 2, 3 cred courses (6) for 2 weeks in May. and the Fall semester has 13 credits with 5 classes. ^^ I'm just happy I worked it out that I was able to take a class taught by my favourite professors (2 classes together. one each) in my final semester.
So far summer- Intro to Performing Arts (which takes care of an Arts credit for my general ed requirement) and Musics of the World (I need 6 cred altogether during the summer term to get my financial aid added to it)

Fall has me taking Spanish 2 to finish my language requirement. International Migration with my fave professor (this one is the one who got me very interested in my concentration more so than I was before), Some inter america course taught by my other fave professor. Then I also signed up for Zumba (it's actually being taught over a semester as a class ^^" and Yoga. The 2 gym classes are twice a week. :D

Hi Taiyo! ^_^

Wowsers. How did you fit 5 classes into only 13 credits? I wanted to take five this semester plus the one credit of violin, and that would have straight up given me 18.

I've heard Zumba is really fun. I love yoga, but I can't afford to pay for the classes. I want to do belly dancing too, and ballroom dancing. You know...I'm really sick of being a broke college student and I'm only a freshmen, haha.

I still live at home, so I don't have to deal with roommates, but I definitely know how it is to expect one thing and then find out the kid is a spoiled friggin' brat. I met a nice girl at the beginning of this semester, and she turned out to be a major BIOTCH after a few months. She stopped talking to me...and everyone...and just gives you the dirtiest of looks and (excuse the terminology) but she looks at you like you're a retard and mentally impaired no matter what you say to her. She's so stuck up...or whatever you want to call her. XD Either way, she ended up showing her true colors, and I can't stand her anymore.

In her slight defense...everyone I've met from the high school she came from is crazy, slightly schizophrenic, and bi-polar. I guess she couldn't help falling to the crowd. ;)
