I just finished a half hour run. I am now exhausted.

I get to get dressed for work and then do more internship stuff when I get out. Yay.

Only twenty minutes of class left and I believe I am then going to go get lunch.

I don't mind work, I have the best coworkers. It's my internship that drives me crazy because they're so unprofessional and never know what the hell they're doing much less provide support to anyone.

I don't have class until 3.30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I'm going to miss it next semester when I take a Yoga class Thursdays from 9-11a

I should be doing the reading for the class I have, but I don't really want to. I just want to go through my stuff for my rough draft due tomorrow. ^^"

But I am having a good day at the moment (will change if I get bitched at for throwing out the chicken she has in the fridge because it's gone bad. -.-) I found a site that I can stream more than the 3 stations from Finland that I have before. ^^ YAY! I get to watch other channels now. :P

Hehe, I have NO CLASSES ON TUESDAYS!!! So, todya's been a study day. Icky. I've got three papers and a speech all due at the same time.

I have class all five days, but only one Monday Wednesday and Friday. German. :) It's also my favorite class. The teacher is really great, and the other students are all really cool.

@ sarof: Yeah, German's my fave class now as well. In high school it used to e NJROTC, but as I've graduated from that shithole...yeap, I'm continuing German.

And seriously considering getting Rosetta Stone for Japanese or Spanish. I wanna learn both those languages soooo bad!

I would get something equivalent to roseta stone. The real deal costs about 200 dollars minimum.

I'm fluent in Spanish :) I would love to learn Italian though.

...ha ha ha ha ha! You have no idea how funny that is. lol. They're basically the same language. The difference is so small when you actually learn them. Or so I'm told by the linguistics majors. I always thought they looked similar.

Mmmm. German. <3 I've been wanting to take that for years. They have it available at my CC, but I don't want to pay for it considering that I'm not sure whether or not it would transfer. I'ma have to talk to an advisor soon enough, however, and I'll ask them.

I took 4 years of Spanish...I think I mentioned that sometime earlier...and I hated the language so I never retained much of it. Italian is extremely similar. I also don't like that language much either, though it's worlds better than Spanish. I just HATE the sound of Spanish. Yuck.

If somebody whispered in my ear in Spanish to try and turn me on...I'd probably laugh in their face uncontrollably. SOOO not a romance language.

It could be. I find German very romantic actually. it's all how you say things, and frankly the words just sound cooler.

That they do. I've wanted to learn Spanish for YEARS, same with Japanese and Arabic. Hm...maybe I'll see if I can take Spanish at the CC over the summer.

Hehe, if a guy tried turning me on by speaking French or Spanish I'd probably just give him the "what the fuck did you just say" look and tell him that if he wanted to turn me on, then say whatever he just did in German.

Yeah. I know German is. I can actually get the jist of it if I hear two people speaking in German and I've never had a class in it. I just think Latin based languages are also easy because I dabble in Latin every now and then.

I actually found German easier to catch onto than Spanish. Then again, when I was attempting to learn Spanish--I was being homeschooled at the time--it was just a bunch of memorizing words and phrases and their meanings without studying the grammar, sentance structure, context and culture. It's probably because of the fact that I took a PROPER German class in high school that I actually caught onto the language easier. I still wanna learn Spanish though.

Hehehehehe......I love blowing my friends' and family's minds by swapping between German and English. There's actually been a few times where I've spoken in German and it hasn't even registered! And then I see the look on my mom's face and realize that I wasn't speaking English.

Oh, yes, and one of my favorite words: Scheiss. Guess what that means. :P

Well, honestly, most Spanish classes are as you just described. A LOT of memorizing and not much grammar, syntax, or culture. Especially in the first year of it.

Um...I'm guessing it's a cuss word. Lol.

My Spanish teacher used to slip all the time and say Spanish cuss words. We learned well, haha.

I'm re-taking spanish after 7 years of not taking it.
I'm also learning Finnish. From what I've been attempting to learn of Finnish, I'm finding it easy to learn ^^"

I've never had an easy time picking up languages. Which makes me sad because I really want to learn the other 4 of my ancestral languages. But I think... maybe once I master French I can move on to German, Gailic and Cherokee.

Gaelic! That's another one I really want to learn! Blame it on the Scottish and Welsh in me. And the English. Yeah, that's two of my ancestral languages I want to learn, one of which I already know: German and Gaelic. I've been studying German since my freshman year of high school, and that's one of the few things I learned in that place. It has served me well.
