Oh yes...Fabio came in and swept me off my feet. His hair was flowing behind him magnificently, and he was all gorgeous-like. Unfortunately he opened his mouth and his accent ruined it all. ;)

But no, what made it nice was that it was just quiet and peaceful. I'm a people-watcher, so yeah...don't have weird conversations around me and expect that I'm not going to hear every word that comes out of your mouth and be secretly laughing at it behind my magazine.

I have no doubt that my mom's the same way. Hell, she can even come into a room completely unnoticed and scare the pants offa you by simply talking.

I do that all the time. lol. I make no noise when I walk.

If I'm wearing the right type of shoes I'm the same way. I just don't normally wear the right type of shoes...and marching tends to make noise.

Ah. ROTC boots huh? That'll do it.

Well...I don't have any ROTC boots (not in ROTC), but I was in NJROTC in high school. Soo....I still march. It tends to make noise even when you're in sneakers.....:stare:

Gawd. I used to have a guy friend who would sneak up and scare the pants off of me. Towards the end he started coming up and hugging me from behind, and I wouldn't know that he was there. I almost socked him in the face once through instinct.

Moral of the story...don't scare Ely. Lol. Make noise when you walk. :ninja:

I can be quiet or loud, but most of the time I wear shoes with loud heels that "click" so I can't sneak up on people. I like being able to hear myself walk through hallways and such.

:lol: That sounds like something I'd do. Actually did something similar once too; my dad snuck up on me one time at the library, which resulted in my kneeing him in the crotch.

Nice, lol. I once slammed a door into my dad's face and gave him a bloody nose when he snuck in on me to tell me something when I was dressing...more naked at the time...you get the jist. He was PO'd...but to this day he has learned to knock. Had to "knock" some sense into him. Hahahaha! You get it? Get it? Ely made a funny. =3 ;)

Yeah...my dad doesn't always knock when he needs to take a leak. One time he had to pee when I was getting out of the shower, and he opened the bathroom door without knocking. Needless to say, I shrieked obscenities. Okay, I did have a towel covering me, but I was still starkers!

Oh, I hate that. I'll dance around like a fool for two hours before I'll go in and use the bathroom when someone else is in there taking a shower.

He used to do all manner of unspeakable things, but I got him to stop doing most of them. (Walking in while I was changing, or leaving the toilet seat up, or the door open when he was using the bathroom)

My mom solved the leaving the toilet seat up problem when she had to take a late-night leak, and she ended up getting woken up completely by way of falling into the toilet. Needless to say, that was the last time my dad left the toilet seat up.

it was rare that my dad (or my brother) would leave the toilet seat up because the toilet at the house was right next to the bathroom window. We had cats. (still do. just separated cats) and the cats liked to sit (or try to fit themselves) into the window.

For 2 years my dad and I shared an apartment together and the bathroom was in the main area of the apartment, so door open was not a problem. House since it was upstairs away from the main area.

As for walking in while in shower. Never a problem. ^^

Well, when you'd have thought my dad would have learned his lesson about knocking when someone's in the bathroom, as he's got three older sisters, no brothers, and when his parents got divorced he and my aunts stayed with their mom (aka, my grandma)...yeah, lots of women. Plus, since no boys came out of my parents' marriage....
