Ahhhh that would rock! I have a ton of places I've wanted to visit. I'm just lucky enough to have been able to visit a few. I really want to find abroad internships and programs and stuff, though. England, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, would all be fabulous places. Eventually I really want to go back to Germany, but I want to feel more secure about my German first. Last time I went, I was too shy to really make use of any of it.
I'm sure I'll gain good grounds in my finances eventually. I guess I just don't want to get out of college and be in over my head in debt. I understand that everyone tackles that problem, but the less I have to take out in loans the more confident I feel that I'll be able to pay them all off in the next 20 years.

I know so many people that have been to Germany, lol. It's gonna have to go on my list some day just so that I can join the party. ^.^
Indeed. That is totally one of the reasons I'm like...medical school...yeah...nice suggestion, Dad. >.> I pretty much hate debt above all else.

Yeah. I don't think I had my head on straight at all when I chose this school. It costs about the same as med school, and our future careers don't necessarily pay off the same way a doctor's might.

O.O Dayummmm. I never would've guessed art school would cost that more...that's kind of...counterintuitive.
Is it a rich kid school or something?

So...I've just hitlisted the same guy on Vampire Wars on facebook for the third time because he pissed me off so badly, lol.

Well, thinking about, I guess it kinda is. The Dean is rumored to own more than one Mansion around Forsyth park (and they're HUGE) and the school added an Equestrian Studies major because some rich guy's daughter wanted to go into that field but wanted to do it at this school. So, kabam! They just added a stables and some horses and such. I mean, there are people from multiple levels of financial standing, but ya. A lot of them seem to just pull money out of nowhere and it kind of shocks me.
And HAH. Sounds like a nice way to show him your 'appreciation'

Yep. I'ma see that slimy little sparkling butthead killed three times over before I'm done with him. A level 100 has no place attacking a level 26 just to get a kill.
Wow. Just. Wow. Makes me want to look at my future university (just doing CC now) and see if we have a bad dean like that.
Do you keep up with postsecret by chance? The first postcard on there this week is horrible. :o

Sometimes. My roommmate is obsessed with PostSecret, so we check it together.

I wouldn't call myself obsessed (I haven't bought the books, nor do I think I will) but I check it every Saturday, and then the following Sunday to see if anything has updated with comments. Usually it's like "meh," *forgets after gasping once*, but that one was extremely sad to me. T_T
It was more, "poor guy," than anything else though. Hmm...that makes me wonder if it was the wife and that was a picture of the husband she dumped or if it was the other way around...no...yeah. It's pink and kinda frilly handwriting. *sigh* Women and their obsession with wanting to be married just to say they are.

I've got no clue what PostSecret is so I'm not even going to go into that.
As for the married deal...I don't see how being married is such a big deal. It just sounds like the obsession of having a boyfriend in high school and college. Women can be perfectly successful without having to hang off the arm of a man.
Since when was it a requirement to be part of a couple?

It's not a requirement, but it is definitely a very prominent expectation. I simply don't get involved in relationships, and I can tell you first hand how important it is to a lot of people that I do. No, you don't need a man to be successful. You don't need to be married or to even have a boyfriend for success to come to you. But if you break out of the expectation that you still get married or at least have a steady boyfriend, you become an outcast.

Well, see. I'm in a bit of a predicament right now with that quandary. I've discovered I love being in love...but I am now single, and in a way I want to remain that way...and be adventurous, learn to thoroughly love myself without any hangups, and become what I want to be without worrying about having to comply to somebody else while doing all of this. I also love being with somebody...and I'd love to have somebody who will go through it all with me...but. Well. They're going to have to not hold me back in any way, and come with me through it all without me worrying that I'm going to want to do something (move, travel, work, not have kids >.>) and they'll leave me because of it.
I can't stand a lot of heartbreak when it comes to love. I want somebody...but I only want one somebody. And I want to stay with them until the day I die.

I have the same problem. See whenever I find someone they automatically try to change something or ignore something about me that they don't like, and then when they figure out I'm not Mr. Perfect prince charming they leave, and I feel like crap.

@Saro: Yeah. That would actually be nice to feel like my relationship doesn't hang on whether or not I'm putting out...I mean...I'm kinda a perv...but I can only be that way if I feel secure and in love.
I'm truly sorry that so many men feel like they have to have sex all the time to be a man.
----------
I think people try to ignore the fact that I'm a nice girl, a lot. Or they see that "hey, she's different! She's a sweetheart!!!!!! There must be nothing wrong with her!!!" Uh. No. I'm actually kinda insecure and I only put off a strong front...you're going to have to see that and work with me through it.
Don't tell me you love me without finding out what hells I live in.

In my case I have a touch of bipolar that I'm working on controlling completely. People tend to ignore it because I'm so nice, but it's there, and occasionally (very occasionally) I have control problems and need to let off steam you know? And people freak out on me and... *sigh* I'm so tired of it being an issue that I'm a little weird.

We're all a little weird, lol.
I dunno...bipolar is only an issue if you go from *hugs lovingly* sweet to *rips head off* bastard/bitch mean instantly. Other than that...yeah...people have their bad days/moments, you know? Even God goes mad every now and then and electrocutes a bunny with a lightning bolt.
One of my issues is that I'm a really calm person who is willing to lend people a shoulder to cry on every now and then, but when I have problems, people think I'm just being weird because...you know...I'm awesome, totally unhuman, and I never cry or have a bad time in life. *shrugs*

I understand. I'm not allowed to be who I am because it might make people think less of me... and I would surely care. XP Not. I've completely stopped caring what others think, and it's been wonderfully freeing. I tell the old people at Costco who like to stand there talking and blocking the aisle to move, and the lady who was also trapped behind them turns around and thanks me. lol. Awesome.
If you need someone to talk to about stuff and your friends are being butts about it you can talk to me. I'm usually on more than once a day.

Thanks. :)

haha thanks! ;D I don't actually get to celebrate it here at school, outside of eating every piece of chocolate that comes within 5 feet of me. I have lots of homework that I'm still set on ignoring, and there just isn't anything going on. We live in a bubble with no holidays. It's kind of depressing.

I'm at an art school. Since our terms are the minimum number of days permitted to be an accredited college, we don't really get any holidays off. In addition, for some reason, there's almost no interaction between students outside of clubs--and even amidst the clubs few people really interact that much. It's depressing and I'm going back home next year where people are actually willing to interact and where I can play with my cousins on holidays. :D

hahaha none taken! It's absolutely true. In one school year, I've met 3 people total that will talk to me outside of class. And only 2 of those have hung out with me outside of class. I mean, I'm in a club that's pretty awesome. But there's no reason to pay $40k per year for one club that, by the way, has no budget for some reason. The school I would transfer to has similar clubs and more, oh--and people actually interact regularly there.
