All of my family is okay, with exceptions of bumps and bruises. I've heard from a few of my friends, but the rest of them, I have no idea of, and my best friend was in one of the bad areas. Some people we know are dead and some are still missing, no one that I'm particularly close to, but time will tell with that; they're pulling out way more bodies than they are living survivors.

I'm glad to hear that your family is all well and I hope/pray the best for your friend. :hug:

I can't get to her house, its impossible.
I don't have much hope for the house though, it was near the high school, which was leveled. X_X
Maybe they were at her mom's or some other family, since it was Sunday.

Yeah, our own Kitami lives in Joplin (or somewhere very near) and we're all a little worried for her. :(

I'm fine. My cat just bit me and hissed at me when I picked her up, then started purring when I put her down on my lap. Now she's jumped off and is eating my sandwich. >.> Moody McMoodyton, tonight, she is. Must be the weird weather. :lol: She's usually a sweetheart.

Maybe she is picking up on the stress you're feeling?

Nah. They say most animals can pick up on your emotions, but my cat has always failed at that :lol:. She's just being a turd.

My house is fine, we live like 8 miles from Joplin.
I know people who have no houses anymore though. Some parts of town, you can't even recognize, like, you have to really focus to know where you're at. @[email protected]

I meant to go volunteer today, but I couldn't do much. The most I've really done today besides help move some trees is to let people use my computer to let their families know they're alright and things like that. x_x

Lol it was hailing earlier tonight and Sweet Pea was on my back and every time a hailstone would smack the window, she'd jump up and growl. XD Poor kitty.

I don't know what was with my baby. It was kinda hot today after two and a half weeks of rain, so I think she was having a hard time adjusting to the heat.

`Kitami, I just read through the last few posts, and I had heard about the tornadoes....you take care of yourself. And I agree with ElysiumFate, letting others know what's happening is really helpful.

My cat has always been an idiot that way. When I don't want her, she's there, but when I need her she will refuse to come around me. Fail, cat. Faiiiiilllll.
