I remember you from your hangout thread. ^_^ It's been a long ass time.

I had pretty much quit Mene from July to January, if not longer. Missed it too much, though, so I had to venture back.

Oddly enough I never really missed this site. I came back for a horrid reason, but it did not work out and I've been too lazy to leave again so far...

Granted, back then I became pretty infamous and I'm sure people either have forgotten about me, or just plain want nothing to do with me lol.

Lol. I met some pretty nice people here back then, and then it just got boring and my rl went crazy, so that was more important. Still is boring sometimes, but I like the Uni thread a lot, so this be where I spend my time at night.

I remember you because I thought your avi was pretty back then, and I was jealous that you'd scored "Imagination" as your username. :lol:

College is definitely insane. Especially when you're a little like me and you're running around backwards trying to figure out what to do as your career and dealing with slightly unstable exes. Mene is my peace-place for the time being, lol.

This site is a bit of a haven for me. And we all have memories we'd like to forget. Probably most of us have some here too, but we don't leave. Make enough good memories to drown out the bad ones. That's what I do. :)

I was really surprised when (a) I found out he was a he, and (b) he'd become a moderator. Never talked to him, just didn't suspect him to be the type. What'd he do?

Kita has bad memories with this site too, but the good ones outnumber the bad. :)
I've met a lot of serious friends here.

I used to have good ones...but with a couple of serious friends on here that bled into real life... both got me hurt...and I ended up losing both friends...part of why I walked away from this site. >.>

It's hard to meet good people in person. We're all so jaded, and it's easier to open up online, sometimes. My bad memories consist of the avatar forum when everyone was being mean and saying that everyone else's avis sucked, and then when devcul went bipolar on me in this thread, lied about being 19 when he was 14, and kept harassing me. I was a little po'd when he wasn't banned, but what can you do?

I know what you mean Elysium. One I met on here bled into an amazing friendship...and despite the fact she was already commited to another online boy she met on this site...she and I got into a relationship, and after a few months...it got serious...then she got scared and backed out..which crushed me...so I basically ran from anything that reminded me of her...mainly being this site and the internet for quite some time.

Yet I came back to this site for the stupid reason of wanting to get back in touch with her...which luckily I have not done thus far. :sweat:

I met an ex here, and we were "together" for a little over a year.
It ended badly.
But I stayed.
I felt like I had to, I had so many friends here, and I really like this site. :yes:
Plus...I kinda felt that it would be cowardly to leave here just because our relationship ended. ><

Anyway, I'm glad I stayed.

She was very well liked...and I was not. So the large majority of people assumed I hurt her and left on purpose...

I met my ex on an MMORPG. He also got scared and backed out. It destroyed me for awhile. I still haven't gone back to that game, even though I still have it downloaded to my computer. Probably never will. I'm just having a hard time making myself delete a game I spent hundreds of hours leveling on. :XP

Luckily I was bored with that game when it ended, anyway, so it's not so much a cowardly thing staying away from it as it is a, "meh, I was done with it anyway." Thing.

What I'd hate to know is what his friends and family think of me. >.> They didn't know anything about me because he was too cowardly to tell them he had a nice girlfriend just because he met her online. I'm probably "bitch girl" to them, when it wasn't majorly my fault.

Mine was...full of hole's and problems. She ended up having a split personality...major anxiety problems...and a few other personal problems I won't mention...that majorly interfered with our relationship...and I wasn't the best at communicating my feelings or explaining my stress...so finally I gave up and had enough even though every part of me was screaming not to let her go...but the relationship had become unhealthy for me to stay in.

With me, I think we were pretty much both well liked, and most of the people that knew us I think knew us as a couple, so that was pretty difficult for me to handle, once it ended.

I can relate in some ways...considering me and her had many of the same friends across quite a few threads on here >.>

Lol. Sounds like we lived parallel lives for a little bit there. Sadly, anyway.

Mine just didn't have any confidence. It wasn't so much a split personality as he was just two different people for two different groups of people. I knew what he truly was: a sweetheart that deserved somebody to love him, but he desperately thought that he didn't deserve me and his friends were all...interesting people...who definitely hadn't grown up yet. He knew what he was, but he couldn't be convinced to be it. Very impressionable in some bad things.

My ex just...didn't admit to my existence. So when I went to see him, everybody was like "who the shit is this chick?" I didn't appreciate it. Not at all.

Oddly enough...that fits her as well. She felt she wasnt good enough for anyone...and seemed to have commitment issues...among other things...but yeah. Best not to dwell on such bad memories though I suppose >.>
