I'm okay. Summer Semester starts for me next week, as well. I'm kinda regretting it, but it'll be okay. I'll probably end up taking a semester off, soon. I'm so tired of school, and last semester was hell for me.
Gonna go out and plague the job market with applications, soon.

Ahh. I'm just gonna do both, I think. I have till June to decide. I can still get a full refund at that point, and by then I'll know if I want to handle the classes.

I work from Home, college is my escape. Last semester was pretty rough for me as well. The first 5 weeks I had to wait to get books, so I could do no homework...>.<
It was really really rough in getting caught back up.
What classes are you taking Elysium? I signed up for Astronomy and Principles of Macroeconomics (Lucky Me -.-')

Ohh, what do you do, Magi?
Bahahahaha! I took Astronomy last semester. And I'm taking Principles of Macro over the summer. I'm warning you. Astronomy was the hardest science course I've ever taken, and I've been through Bio, Physics, and Chemistry.
Anyway, for me this summer it's Princ. of Macroeconomics, Yoga, Private Violin, and World Mythology.

World Mythology is on my to-do list.
Astronomy is probably going to kick my ass, but that's fine. I enjoy the challenge.
What made it so hard?
As for my work, I work for a company out of new york building websites. As for my specific job, I crack them and find the areas in which they need to revise and recode things.
Because of this, I have several web browsers on my computer xD

Math wasn't that bad, be it it was a Intro course, though. It was noooott easy. That might just be my bitching because I had to drive up at 10:00 p.m. to look at the stars about 15 times, and I was soo tired by the end of that.
One of my friends took Geology, and she never ceased bitching about it. Then again...she likes to bitch when she could've been doing the work instead of failing.
@Magi: That's pretty awesome. :) Um. It was really just a lot of info, and you go into quantum physics in the first couple of months. It's hard to retain all the numbers, and compositions of planets.
If you're expecting a lot of looking at the stars lovingly with a date, I'd suggest forgetting that now. They do practically nothing with constellations. It's all distances, asteroids, and compositions of things.
I do, however, recommend the class. If you enjoy that kind of stuff, it opens your eyes to a lot of things in the universe.

I know the feeling. ^_^ I miss the company, but not the worry. I'm not done with dating, just done worrying about it right now. If somebody comes along, somebody comes along. Otherwise, if I stay single for a year or two. I'm not going to feel lesser for it.
My Macro and Myth classes are both about three hours long. Twice a week. I look forward to it.
@Saro: I haven't had those courses in a long time, but I loved it while I did take them back in high school. I'm a rock and crystal freak. I used to know all the meanings, and such, but they've kind of dwindled because I don't have the money to fund such a hobby. Lol. Still love them though, and I'd be pissed if I got the wrong stone in a wedding ring. Lol. Not specifically geology, I know, but slightly related. ^_^

I suppose thats a good way to look at it. I'm just...fed up of being hurt over and over again no matter what changes I make. Whether its what I look for, or even if I look for anything at all in them.

@Ely: The latter yes. Random spells still pop up in my head, and I have to concentrate in order to not say them. lol. XD
@Magi: I know where you're coming from. In my opinion (And I realize yours may be completely different and based on different beliefs.) God has someone out there for everyone, and if you wait long enough they'll show up. You just have to be strong for now. If you want to bew single for a while it's fine, and may be good for you, you know.

I dunno. I think I'm just fed up with my age. I want a companion...yes...but I don't know if I want somebody who's going to be around forever, for one...and at the same time I'm a very loyal person who would be very happy to find somebody to spend her life with.
I'm not capable of dating just to get laid...just am not capable of it. And that seems like it would be my only option right now, because I'm not fond of being attached to someone who just claims they'll stay with me forever and then leaves. Besides. I'm exploring at this point. Don't need anybody else telling me that they don't want me to go anywhere. I get enough of that from the family.
I'm waiting for others to get older and understand what I'm offering...or find somebody who's already mature that way. I'm complicated. XD It makes sense to me...but it also doesn't make sense to me. Haha. I don't expect it to make sense to others.

Okay, so now for my weird random question of the week.
Do you guys think it's weird/lame for a guy to be a house husband if the woman makes enough to support both? It's common in Germany, but here it's like... frowned upon.

I understand what your talking about completely Elysium.
Saro...while your words are kind, I do not share in the belief that some higher power is looking out for us, let alone trying to be our own personal "e-harmony" kind of thing.

@Saro: Yes. That's it. I know in my heart I'm waiting/looking for somebody specific and that somebody is coming for me...so why the hell would I waste myself on a bunch of idiots? Doesn't mean I don't wish I could be with somebody while I was waiting. *shrugs*
That's very interesting. I've had some experiences like that, myself. People think I'm insane when I talk about them, but I've had a very magical life. It's the way my eyes see things, I suppose.

As per your question: I like the idea, but then I'm a very dominant woman who wouldn't mind it. Besides, I intend to be in that position where I make enough money to support the family.
I just think that most men cannot be happy unless they're doing something they love and keeping their minds busy. I would want my husband to be working and doing something no matter whether or not we needed the money.
All in all, I think it's a fine thing.
