A lot of people don't realize that when they're talking to somebody on a place like Mene, they're actually talking to somebody. Not just a computer that replies to them a few minutes after they type something, or the pretty avatars we all make. So when they figure out a person is behind it, it makes them freak. They were comfortable up till then.

Because there you are again...with a person who will bring to you their baggage like they would in real life...except you thought it wasn't possible.

People are dumb. If I didn't date girls who hadn't been hurt as bad as I have I would have to not date pretty much.

I usually try to pick friends and even girlfriends (in the past) based on if they can relate to me. I dont so much care if we dont agree on what music to listen to, what movies to watch etc. Material things like that to me are rather petty. What I care about is if we match when it comes to things like...Honesty, Communication, Intellectual things etc.

True, but at the same time instead of trying to figure out all of that shit before you get together with someone, I usually just go with the flow. If in the middle of dating we dont seem to click or have anything in common, its not that big of a deal to go back to friends. Can't hurt to try ya know?
