I'm almost 21! Although I'm only planning on having a single kahlua with my Mom. And I think they don't even have that much alcohol in them? I think they're generally mostly coffee and Irish cream.

I am very capable of loving somebody new. I am very capable of loving just about anybody. But I need somebody here. To come home to or at least see every day and get a hug from. One of my good friends told me after I got out of my last relationship: "that's not good, honey. Women need to be nurtured and loved. Kissed and held daily like the precious things they are." And that's something I need. Not something I can choose to go without again out of hope and new beginnings. I need very few things, but I need that. And I won't be going without it again for any reason other than I have absolutely no choice.

I knew full well what you were trying to say Ely. But you assumed that if anything happened between us, it'd be this huge mistake of nobody willing to do anything for the other. It'd be stuck in a distance thing.

If you really want to know some of what was going on inside my head, or even what I was "hoping" for. Was that we'd continue to get along, and be really amazing friends. Then, possibly after a visit or two , a more serious relationship then just a friendship could then be discussed.

But like I said...you assume far too much.

No. I didn't really assume that. I am less afraid of anything than I am unwilling to deal with that particular instance again, baby steps or not.

I can't stand people who think they can dissect me. Drives me crazy. Makes me wonder if it's even okay to talk to people sometimes, lol. That's the curse of being yourself, though. People always wanna change you because they don't know how to be themselves.

True enough. People want to be understood, and they want themselves to be okay. Therefore they try to make others the same as them. They try to twist who you are to be well... them.
