My dad was a great, loving dad until I was like eight years old. He changed.
I want to be more upset that he's dying, I feel like I should be. But I can't. I've made peace with it anyway...but...I don't know. I have a lot of daddy issues.

My niece was the one who had to tell me it would be okay. She was sitting on my lap and she took her little hands and wiped the tears off my face and kissed my cheeks. It was the sweetest thing in the world.

Yes. Its kind of amazing. She was the only one who was thinking clearly, out of all of us.

Little ones understand death better than a lot of people.

No, its not that. Its just, I really hate hospitals. I can feel the sadness in there.

There's also comfort. People Are being helped, and freed from that which would hurt or kill them. You know?

But I hate when people cry. I want to help, and I know I can't.

If they're someone close to you, you can wipe their tears away, and tell them everything will be alright.

But you can't do that with people you don't know. They would most likely find it a bit odd. I have hugged strangers before. Hugs are good for the soul. =3

I admit, sometimes I hate being touched, period. Only people I love very much I will tolerate. This is when I'm in one of my super-bad moods though. I don't usually like my brother to hug me, but that's cause he does these bear hug bullshit things that are not pleasant, and hurt. :(
