Absolutely nothing. Lol. We did father's day stuff yesterday. I'm actually bored out of my mind right now. So many things to do that I don't want to do. I have tomorrow off as well, so I'll just beast mode it then.

I don't like obligatory holidays. I don't even like my birthday because it obligates people to do stuff for me.

In all honesty? It's probably due to the fact that my mom still hasn't found a job. :( Hopefully this new mayor will do something to help the economy here, and she'll find one soon. I don't really trust the government to fix anything, but I can hope right?

What kind of job is your mother looking for? There are some out there, but the ones for the people with degrees are hard to get. Man. That is so damn lame. It's not supposed to get harder to find a job the higher up you are.

You can always hope, Saro. I'm endlessly hopeful. I don't know why. I come off very cynically, but that's only because of how much hope I have for the world. *shrugs*

My mother has a masters in German, and thirty years of experience as a legal secretary. She can do almost anything in an office. She should have no trouble finding a job. However people are stupid, and God's plan is never the same as ours. ...makes things hard.

I don't remember where I heard it/read it, but I've always held by: "God never gets a better laugh than he does when he's laughing at the plans of his humans."

The joke was "how do you make God laugh? Tell him your plans."
