Really? My Mom's car is a lot more efficient than that. Hmm. Could they send you the money for a bus ticket, which has to be cheaper? I mean, don't they care that you come home?

They do (well, my gramma doesn't, but she's a racist, sexist, biggoted bitch anyway so I hate her), but there's not money anywhere. Neither me nor my parents, or anyone else in my family for that matter, have the money for a bus ticket, train ticket, or gas money. And since I can't stay in the dorms over break.....

hm, maybe you can hitch? I do that all the time - see if anyone leaving your school is headed your way and take it from there?

That's not fair you can't stay in the dorms.
Yeah, hitchhiking sounds like your best bet honestly. Just be careful!

My mind's not really dirty...I just don't think that way.
Taiyo: Do you have a friend from school who can take you home with them for break? i had a friend who had to do that because she couldn't afford to stay on campus nor could she go to California...so she stayed with friends who live in CT.
I went to a review and class even though I've had a headache for three days now...it's not so bad at the moment thanks to lots of coffee and meds. Now I'm just melancholy :(

Ooh headache. I hate those. I don't really get them often, so I don't really have any cure for you.

@HEADACHES!!!!!!: :( :( :( :( :(
@Taiyo: I think some of those options might work? Hitching or staying with a friend?

The friends option sounds pretty good, but I guess hitchhiking is a good second option.

Headaches are part of my life. My neck is very unstable from having insufficient connective tissue to hold me together. As a result my brainstem sinks downward when I'm upright and my vertebrae slip out of place leading to compression. When I have my period my connective tissue gets looser which leads to more symptoms. I'm doing okay for the moment though.
Hope everyone else is well!

Oh wow. I don't think my sister Azure has quite that, although I suppose I could ask her. I didn't know your period could make things worse. :O

Lol yeah BlackCart
Science lesson: When a woman has a baby there is a hormone released that allows her connective tissue to stretch so she can get the baby though the birth canal. A little bit of this hormone is released every month so a woman can have her period. For me it wreaks havoc though. My joint dislocations have been in check but my headache hasn't. Although i think part of the reason why my joints haven't been trouble these past few days is because I haven't been doing anything because of my headache.
Is Azure on Mene Fairywaif?

This is me for two days: "Ow. Ow. OW. Seriously? OW! Expletive expletive just kill me now."
If I were a lesser person, I would consider being pregnant all the time JUST so I could avoid my period.
Though, I should be taking birth control anyway. I just can't afford it and I'm afraid that they'll look at me weird.

You can get help from the manufacturer or go to Planned Parenthood. If you're embarrassed say you need it for a medical condition. No need to suffer. *hug*

Well, that's not the reason I would be going for the birth control. I should be taking it for PMDD. But... they ask probing questions about my sexual... stuff and... it confuses people when I say "I have one sexual partner," "I do not have penetrative sex," "I do not use condoms." Its hard to find people who understand the word "lesbian" in this town. o_o
...especially since Planned Parenthood is on the south side of town. They do not like the gays there. >>
I've been taking vitamin supplements to keep myself from being miserable, and its been getting better. When I move out of Muncie I'll get back on the pill, but I need to skip town. >>

No kidding. And Muncie isn't really all that small, for a town in Indiana. There's a town between here and South Bend that's just a stop light and two houses.
