I would totally move like that, too. There's actually a chance that I'll really do that some day.

I'm curious to see if anyone else has noticed this trend as well. A number of newer users, all around the same age, making the same kinds of threads in places such as General Discussion and the Music forums - General Discussion seems to be the favored target, though. Said threads generally have little or no topic/direction or are repeats of a larger thread along the same idea. I know that this happens often but what's drawn my attention is how similar their word choices and typing styles are, how their threads tend to all be centered around the same thing or just general chat/spam threads. I may be suspicious by nature but I really wouldn't be surprised if these accounts were all owned by the same person and just a means for them to earn gold for their preferred one. It also seems as though after enough misplaced/deleted threads, one of them (perhaps the original) has disappeared. There's something rotten in Denmark Menewsha.

Sometimes I'm too observant for my own good.

On a lighter note, I was reading a thread in Life Issues where a user was complaining about having a really bad day and how they just wanted to cry or some shit. I had to stop myself from posting "Sounds like you're on your period" - Then I laughed myself to tears. I am a bad person.

Lol! I've seen many of those where I just sit there and go "REALLY?! You're whining about that?! There are people who are in worse situations or have been in worse situations and you're whining about that?! Go take a Pamprin or Midol, eat some rocky road or peanut butter ice cream and watch a chick flick and go to bed"

Right?! Very few actually deserve attention so those I'll post in but most I just laugh and shake my head at.

I should get to bed, work tomorrow.

The next day our teacher mentioned it in class to us since my friend wasn't in class that day. One of these days since Janelle (friend/sister) isn't in the country anymore. I'm going to go to where mom judy is buried and visit her grave for her at least once or twice a year.
That would be really nice of you. My former best friend's dad was killed in a car crash when we were 14, and as her mother was not in her life, she went to live with her aunt and uncle in a different state. My mom and I went with her before she moved to her dad's grave so she could say goodbye. She put a ceramic dog on his grave. Last year, my cousin's little boy died and was buried in the same graveyard as her dad, actually kind of close to him. After the funeral I got curious and wandered off and found her dad's grave, and after five years that dog was still there. :) Its tail was broke off though, probably happened in a hail storm or something.
I only visit my great aunts' and uncles' graves. I try to leave flowers every month for my aunt because I was really close to her. But I haven't been for a month or two. My grandpa is buried with them, so I will go...visit him....before I go away next month, and I will leave them all some flowers.

Yeah. I've noticed that the Menewsha staff has become much more slack on letting repeat threads and shit get posted. The General Discussion forum has been disgusting me lately because it's all very unoriginal topics that should have either been deleted or merged.

A few months ago somebody posted a thread called Nail Polish not a day after I'd made a thread under the same name, that was very popular, exact topic. I was PISSED that the copy thread wasn't deleted.

The user that made it was annoying.

On the Life Issues thing, I hate the people that post something EVERY day. It's like...can you not deal with your own life? Like, at all?

Some people really can't deal with their own life at all though, which is an issue in itself...

Yeah, I was and still am close to her and her family. I try to keep in touch with her as much as I can since she's now in Ireland. I'm still kind of close to her dad. Saturday was his birthday so I sent Dad a message on Facebook. Her dad and step-mom still live in the town we grew up in. I do miss her a lot. Both of us have had moments where we have gone to each other on facebook for help and I've had some days where I missed her a lot and felt really depressed and wished she was still in the US so I could see her. The only problem I have is trying to find out where her mom is buried. She knows, but I don't want to have to bring up the topic. ^^" It may come up if given the chance to say something about it.

Why did she move to Ireland? Job opportunity, or just for the hell of it like I'd do?

She moved to Ireland to live with a guy she met to get away from a lot of the crap she was having to deal with her dad and step-mother. Now since she's left she's reconciled with her dad and stepmom and things seem to be ok now. But, it was just a hard bunch of years from age 9-19. She's dating the boy (he's a year or 2 older than me- my friend is 1yr younger than me) and seems to be doing ok. But it's kind of hard for her at times because she has moments where she wonders if she did the right thing like anyone else would when they get homesick. She calls home sometimes and will talk to her family.

I'm sure she did the right thing. There are days I'd love to get away from it all, too. Especially last semester when I had absolutely no support system when I was going through everything I was living through.

Ugh yeah. Example "sooo angry at dog" -.- the dog is annoying the crap out of me. It's annoying me. I have no idea what my boyfriend and I should do today, me being 28min away puts a damper at coming up with something for us to do. That and I don't have any money so I can't bring myself to ask him "oh can we go get this?, do this?" I have nothing for us to do at my house since we have no AC, no pool, I don't have a tv in my room. I dunno. I'll find out

New person to talk to! *duct tapes to chair so he can't run away* :ninja:

@Vix: I'll probably post in there once every couple of weeks, but most've the time that's in the "Letters You Can't Send Thread." At least in some way or another I'm dealing with it on my own.

There was a girl in there a couple months ago who posted three threads a day...that was borderline annoying/psychotic.

I'm pretty sure it was in late March/April. I could tell you who it was, but I don't like to name names online where it can be traced back to me, lol.

It's fine, I'm just glad I missed it. I'm getting of the little 15 year old girl(s) posting a billion stupid threads though.

But I'm off to bed. I'm opening the store tomorrow.
