Actually it takes several hours to die from in a lot of cases, and it hurts like hell. You go septic. If it's a small rupture it hurts like hell, but they can usually get things under control.

It's strange, I don't have so much stuff to do for my classes. No 5,000 readings like normal. o.o Good thing I have books, and when I get my instrument, I shall be happy wasting time with it. O.o

Not yet :( I don't have my debit card yet. My parents are going to activate it for me and buy the flea drops for the cats and dog with it, then mail it to me so I can have it and I'll order it then. It should be at my house by this weekend, and I'll have it by next weekend.

I absolutely despise dealing with banks. Nothing that comes out of their mouths makes any sense to me. I need to get a book and read up on it all before I get screwed for not knowing anything one day.

You'd have to buy a book every six months. they keep changing the rules.

Yeah. I know what you mean. I left one bank and went to another because I was getting screwed. To make it more interesting, last year I ended up getting someone else's money in my account because of a "mess up"

@Saro: Tell me about it. I signed up for the account and had overdraft protection. Apparently something changed and I ended up getting an overdraft fee after awhile, which was tacked on if I didn't have the $3,99 for my monthly service charge... This was even if I used it, I would get charged. -.- I had to have my boyfriend bail me out from it, just so I could close my account. Now, this was a student account that I was getting the fee on there. The bank I'm at now, the student checking account has no minimum balance and no monthly fee. So, I'm set till a few years after I graduate. Which is when it goes to their normal checking account with a $500 minimum balance and a service charge. Which, hopefully I will have in my account.

@Ely: the guy at the bank was nice, though he tried to make me open a credit card or get a line of credit. Of course I said no because I would prefer not having the temptation. I will only spend the money on something if I have the money.

@Ser: I heard the only good argument for a credit card the other day that I've ever heard. Do it to get your credit score higher. Just spend a little at a time and pay it off right away. That way you don't have to cosign shit later. I'm going to look into it in the next year.
