I'm far more open than anyone in my family. I can't say how many times my parents have tried to convince me that homosexuality is wrong, or how many times I've heard "those evil black people" and shit like that. Uggggh.

Kids do have a lot of their familial personality traits, but it is very true that you become something totally you, and not your parents.

Yup My family is like that to homophobic, racist religious... uhh rednecks XD but with money( kinda just a few and they don't share), it's odd. My grandpa is 90% logical and open but he HATES gays (which is akwarad cuse I've had a few girlly relationships) Its so sad to seem him waste emotion on something so dumb.

I inherited all the worst traits it seems and I spend my time fighting them. It's odd and though my dad was never allowed to be around me I'm WAY more like him then my mom side who raised me.

I'm more like my father as well. I get my adoration for lace, luxury, and such from my mother, but my strong moral beliefs come from my father. I go between being a daddy's girl and nobody's girl. Depends on their moods. Both of them have somewhat violent tempers.

I have to fight the racism that my mother has. But can you blame me for being a little afraid of hispanics and blacks? I grew up in freaking Colorado, man. If you're hispanic, you tend to be insane and gang-banging around here, and if you're black, you live in Denver, so I don't know you anyway! XD

My mom is a paranoid hoarding skitos whose habits I beat down with a baseball bat everyday XD my dad is a pot smoking bi sexual Boulderite hippy. How those to hooked up I will never ever know. My mom flies off the handle all the time, my dad I don't think has the motivation to kill a fly. But he was the one I couldn't live with.

Oh, I know, I know, but it's there. I shove it down as much as I can. I have a good Mexican friend (a couple, actually), but no black friends. That's from lack of existence, not avoidance. I have yet to see one black person in my entire college.

Hey ^^ I have returned from my classes for the day and am free for the night. Along with reading :)

on the topic of having kids- Mike and I do want a family together. But, we're not in a hurry to have human children. We're quite content with the realisation that our family will be first made up of ourselves and our cats (only 2 cats). We've mentioned that for a few years or so we want to live just to 2 of us and do things for ourselves before we have human kids.

I've been tired and bleh all day. I was running late to class this morning, missed my first class, late to my second class (aerobics) which kicked my ass today. I made it on time to my 3rd class, and was 5 min late to my last class :/

I'm busy as hell, I tell you. I need a break. I think there may be a funeral this week and I'm going to have to make deals to take tests later. I dunno man. I want to say that hopefully I'll get a few more days before I need to leave, but that's like petitioning God.
