Does it constantly eat the messages you're trying to send?

MSN? Yeah...MSN would randomly log me off in the middle of conversations...considering how important those convos were at the time, I've given up on that shitty program.

Nope. I don't have any issues with it except when it comes to sending file attachments over anything other than aim.

I use msn messenger. not a fan of it though.

I'd switch over...except for the fact that NONE of my friends would switch either. So, I'm stuck with MSN or I'm isolated.

There's no switching involved. You simply link Trillian to your other accounts and it signs you in as if you were actually using msn.

MSN was screwed up before, but it actually got even more screwed up after the MSN 2011 update.

Yeah, I still use it because my boyfriend uses it when we're not physically with each other. ^^"

That's why I uninstalled it and switched to Trillian full time. I have all my aim and msn accounts on it.

I like the way MSN looks, but I use Skype because it doesn't f up every two seconds.

I'm still not sure about Trillian...

What makes it a real pain is it only does this when I'm talking to someone via Yahoo. talk about a pain

I do have issues when I use msn messenger, but it's usually because my computer decides to be an asshole and disconnect me from the internet... Actually it's when the internet is being an asshole. Which is the case when you use the school's internet. -.-

I only use Skype for voice/video but that was mainly with a certain someone who couldn't be bothered to get his own fucking webcam. Talk about sketchy.

It's the MSN messenger itself that screws with me. It will suddenly decide that I can't send messages, or that someone can't send messages to me. It'll randomly sign me off so that I can't send messages until I completely restart my computer...it'll randomly stop the video chat windows from working. It's all irritating.

Or stop using Yahoo...

I haven't used Yahoo since high school. People worth talking to use other things :lol:

My school's Internet has it's "days". Some days it's good, some days it's all-out shit. Other days it's somewhere in between. Usually in between.

ResNet by nature sucks big dirty hairy balls.

Fredonia State Wireless has its moments. I was trying to watch Emmerdale on Friday on my netbook and it decided to be slow and lose connection every 10 min or so. During the 2nd episode on mtv3, it decided to completely drop.

Saturday the ResNet wireless crapped out, I plugged into the ethernet and it wasn't working either...

Basically, ResNet sucks. It has its moments, and FredState Wireless also blows.

SIUC Wireless--especially in the dorms--is about as bad. I've managed to get online in the campus library, but that's after mucking with it for about ten minutes. In the dorms, you can't get on at all using the wireless, yet they say you can.

I don't get why so many universities have shitty Internet when they expect us to use the Internet when researching for all our papers. Are they trying to screw us over?

I only had issues with the wireless twice in all my time at school.

They do try, I think, but with so many people using only a couple wireless connections, it's bound to suck ass.

I know for us, wireless for the entire campus is still pretty new. For years they were testing Wireless for ResNet in one dorm (the building the ResNet office is in). Then Spring 2010 they released it throughout all of the dorms. So, it's only been a year and a half since they started it in all of the dorms.

I love just how up to date we are too :sarcasm:
