On the topic of fire alarms, My high school had the siren noise and it would have a sort of turkey gobble sound with flashing lights.
In my community college, the siren would be outside of the class rooms, we actually had a fire drill during the time I was in class and we almost missed it because the noise was outside of the room and sounded like the siren noise of what was playing in our video about WWII in Europe.

My dorm fire alarm, the dorm room has the high pitched shrilling ear shattering noise meant to jolt out out of bed with some of the D rooms in the suites having a second alarm thingy that has a flashing strobe light. The hallways and bathroom have the normal siren noise with the flashing lights I know some of the Corridor ones actually have the alarm plus the "This is a fire alarm, please exit the building" thing. Or would talk to you to leave the nearest exit. I hated those. I'll take my ear piercing shrill noise thank you.

Weekend is going awesome. Sad it's Saturday, but, his birthday gift came in the mail today. He's giddy over it. I got him a couple of cds that I knew he would like :) I'm sad it's saturday since he goes home tomorrow. But, he's hopefully coming back the end of the month and I get my birthday gift then ^^

Turkey gobbling fire alarms? That sounds kinda funny.

It's about time that we had a fire drill at my CC...lord knows it's going to be on the coldest day yet this year.

@ Ser: Turkey gobble fire alarm...I'd just be laughing! Outside the rooms and watcing a WWII video...fail. Shrill noise, plus the polite voice AND strobe lights....yuck.

@Taiyo: This one time we had a fire drill when I was in high school...there were five feet of snow on the ground, and they made us stay out there for almost half an hour. I had NO coat. Thank you very much. >.>

Procrastination sucks. Noone would let me do hw this week it sucked. luckily I had the weekend to do it.

@ Otaku: Oh noes! that's actually one of the reasons I'm not sticking with Aikido...I get the feeling it would be way too much of a strain on my schedule.

I know that at my 3-5 school if we had a legit fire in our building when it was cold out, we would have had to walked to the Catholic school across the road. At my middle/highschool- buses would have been sent.
that isn't right Ely, the should have at least have provided something for you guys if it were that long and that much snow.

Okay, it made me sick, but if one kid gets sick from it then there's a VERY strong possiblity that more kids are getting sick off of it. Hell, the lunch ladies wouldn't even eat it. Neither would the teachers. Or anyone else who worked in the school.

Drills were in the warm. If it was cold, it was usually an alarm. Except when they had us do a drill in November in my 3-5 school.

I just doing like fire alarms in general.
