Don't forget personal responsibility. People are so quick to lay blame on others. Guess what world...when you have a credit card you need to pay back all that money...and not over the rest of your life either. Can't get what you want when you want it.
My school doesn't really have a lack of jobs...you just have to get them in the beginning of the year.

I'm actually currently on SSI...it's been really helpful because I can pay for my care...since I got SSI I've been paying for my own books and stuff too. Go me!

Supplemental Security Income. I haven't worked enough to get SSDI (what people traditionally refer to as "disability").
SSI is for disabled people who have little to no income. There's a limit as to how much in assets I can have and stuff.

I usually get up at like 2pm on the weekends. Ended up rolling out of bed at like 10:30.

I got up at 8 but I'd gone to bed at 10:30 last night. I sleep about 9-10 hours every night.

maybe you need more? Some people need 9 or more hours to feel fully rested.

I hate it when I sleep more than 9 hours, but 9 hours itself is a good sleep.
If I get less than 7 I struggle to function.

For me when it comes to sleep and how well I function it varies....I tend to feel sluggish if I sleep too much but if I don't sleep enough, I just feel exhausted. Having said that timing is also a factor, and I've noticed I tend to sleep more than the recommended 8 hours.

Taiyo it sounds to me like the sleep you are getting is not restful enough. Some people don't enter deep REM sleep which is what you need to be refreshed. I used to be a pretty insane insomniac and would conk out during the day as a result. It got to the point where my doc was going to give me an artificial sleep cycle with Klonopin and stimulants. The sleep hygiene stuff wasn't working for me.
In addition to sleep hygeine melatonin and valerian can help you sleep better but some people can't have those things. If it's a problem talk to your doctor about it and find what's safe for you. You might need a sleep study; many people who can't sleep turn out to have apnea or restless legs and other stuff. You'd be surprised.

I've got no idea. I know that once I do conk out, I'm dead to the world. I'm also reluctant to get out of bed, like all college students who've got early-morning classes:
-The bed's too comfy.
-The alarm clock needs to DIE!
-It's six-stinking-am, meaning that the dining halls aren't open.
-I'm not a morning person to begin with.
-If it ain't caffinated I don't care.
That's me in the morning.

Your mattress is actually comfortable? Geez I have one of those foam toppers and one the university's best mattresses and I still wake up a mess!
