I'm already bored and want to go back to school. I'm taking the Spring off because I graduated and I'm waiting to see if I get into grad school. I hate being home. I'm bored. Broke, jobless. The only good thing of being home; seeing my boyfriend and my cats and friends.
I'm going to go crazy without school :\

That was me with 2 fall semesters (Fall 08 and 09) i went insane. In 2008 was when I researched Finland to death and got more into it.
I'm hoping to go to the University at Buffalo in Buffalo NY (around an hour or so from where I live) for Library Science ^^

Nope. Libraries won't disappear. We just adapt to new technology.
You've heard of UB? cool ^^ I have a friend who goes there now for her undergrad. I hope I get in. It's a good program. :)

I was considering them but I decided it'd be easier to stay in the same state as an undergrad. I figured out I want to do marine biology so I will most likely end up at a different school in Florida, unless I change my mind. Which is possible, although not that likely.

I'm still on Winter break and I'm going insane. I'm tired of my job, trying to change it. I'm tired of having so much free time. I need something to motivate me into my usual side projects that I use to avoid my schoolwork.

Libraries are definitely not going to disappear anytime soon. I can see it being plausible, though, mostly because a lot of people don't want to fund them. And in my area, the librarians are extremely lazy and don't even want donations so that they don't have to do all the sorting and filing.

Mine in my hometown aren't lazy like that. I've done some of the organising in the booksale room while I was a volunteer. I wish I still lived in my hometown. I'd at least have a position as a page at my home library or the main one in the town. :(

It really is. Libraries are amazing. I don't even understand why people don't want to support them. :(

I know really. I lived at the library I grew up near. If I could, I'd live at the one where I live now :(

I lived at the school library the entire second half of last semester. >.> I'd go to a public one, but the school is closer.

I go to the library alot but normally my mom will get a ride home. Tomorrow my first day of classes at csu-pueblo and I still have to get my books.

I'm still waiting for my books to come in the mail and my classes start Tuesday. >.>

Aw Ely that sucks :( do you think they will come in before then?

I'm just gonna get mine at the bookstore between classes next Monday. :)

I'm doing the same thing if my financial aide came in. I hate the fact that charges end on the 19th so hopefully I can get everything before then.

Yeaaah. It's always when you don't have it that they assign a hundred pages worth of bookwork on the first day, and when you do have the books, you don't use them all semester.

I know and especially going to a university you need your books.

I like when university professors assign you a super expensive book, and then you don't even use it. That's definitely my favorite, hands down. Especially the part at the end of the semester when the bookstore decides your edition is out of date so they won't even buy it back.

Yeah that happened alot when I went to a community college. Whats worse is when you sell the book back and you don't even get the full amount you paid for.

I didn't think you ever got the amount you paid for. And yes, it happened to me almost every semester in community college. I got so angry that they were wasting my money like that. :(

I know I hate that so much. Now that i'm going to a university I have even more books XD I just can't win.

One of my professors won't have us get books that are more than $40. He will also send us a link to sites to get it for cheaper or recommend getting it somewhere else it if he knows the book isn't a brand new one. One of the many reasons I liked that professor when I was at Fredonia.
Unfortunately I would have to get all of the books Mike didn't have already from the bookstore because I used my financial aid to get the books. ^^"
