I haven't been home since Saturday morning, spent last night with Mike and we just got back from a party at his aunt's house. Which was fun. It was fun catching up with people.
Tonight (once I wake him up from a nap) we're hanging out with a friend of ours. ^^

Kita isn't sleeping so well and its starting to bother her. =_=

I've been worried about my dad, and my grandma.
Now I found out my dad has skin cancer again, and I don't know if its the "good" or "bad" kind since the people at the nursing home won't tell him anything. My mom's supposed to call them and complain tomorrow.
And I'm worried about my cousin, one of the few people in my family that I actually like, because she's been depressed and drinking a lot anyway, and her best friend just passed away so....ugh.

I'm sorry, girl. That's a lot to deal with at once.

There's no cure for this kind of anxiety, but maybe try exercising or going for a walk to tire yourself out. That's what I do, but that's just me. Funny movies are also good. :)

I have a thread in the life issues forum because this bugged the shit out of me so badly, but the short of it is that the nutty friend I talked about a lot last winter texted me telling me she'd basically bought my car in a different color.

She doesn't understand why that upset me. I don't know if I'm being a jealous bitch, or if she's just insensitive and stupid.

I dunno. I think it's a mixture that you're just upset at the fact that it looks like she copied you. She's just gonna get herself into a big hole (of course it doesn't help that it's almost 20k for the car and she obviously does not have the money for it.

I can see where you'd be upset. But, I wouldn't get so upset over it. I think she's just stupid.

I feel awful because now I want her to get into big ass trouble over her family buying her that car. I know I've got jealousy problems sometimes, but I killed those a couple of years back and now I'm pissed she thought she wasn't doing something stupid. This wouldn't be so bad if she hadn't just been an awful friend for the last ...four years?

Then she acted like I wasn't the one that she copied. Told me, "it could've been worse, my mom wanted me to get the red one." And I just wanted to kill her for saying that. The utter stupidity of that girl no longer amazes me, it disgusts me.

Believe it or not, I'm not half as pissed as I was four hours ago. I know she thinks she's cool shit, and that she's just got a nice car, but to me it just comes off as her being a bitch without any logic in thinking that her best friend would be insulted that she tried to one up her.

Yeah, I see that point. She'll get her karma at somepoint for spending the money on such an expensive car like that even though she didn't spend the money herself. That and I do see how it would look like she was trying to one up you like that.

I've only told her off for one other thing in our whole friendship, but I told her off for this one.

I don't know. A big part of it is me overreacting, but the other part is that I think it really was stupid. I guess it's just my values are different than other people's. My two biggest pet peeves are being ignored for no reason, and being copied (especially in a way that doesn't seem like a compliment).

I'll calm down about it eventually, but I guess I'm just done with her. Our history is long, and contains 2 things good for 8 things bad.

Yeah, a lot of bad things have happened with you two. She's just done a lot of stupid things form what I've seen you talk about and it doesn't seem healthy for you to have to deal with so much of it.

I've been in a continual state of being pissed off at her for the last year. She tells a thousand lies and thinks people will believe her. She pretends to be an angel when she really just bites her tongue or pretends to be one.

At least I'm real. I'll tell people the truth, and I won't hide that I've got a few f'ed up personality traits. I don't pretend to be something just so people will like me or won't leave me.

It's like what my family has always said about her: she lies straight to your face and thinks nobody knows.

Back when I met her in middle school I was so desperate for a friend because I had just transferred in that I would've accepted anybody. Now it's just like, enough. I can handle myself, and I don't need to drag somebody along anymore.

Yeah, that doesn't sound like a healthy friendship at this point in your life. You'll meet someone at school who won't stand there and lie like that, or make life miserable.
She'll get her just desserts and hopefully learn her lesson one of these days. At least she should.

I've stopped thinking she'll get her just desserts. She's one of those people that gets fucked and keeps on doing the same thing, so it doesn't really matter.

At this point I've decided I'm acting childishly. My anger, while well deserved on her part, is half that she did this, and half the accumulation of the rest of our relationship.

I'm not even interested in seeing her get screwed over anymore. There's no satisfaction in that since it obviously doesn't teach her anything.

Plus, this makes me sound like a spoiled brat. I should be happy she got a car, not be pissed she got the same thing as me in a different color. And I probably would be if I wasn't just so sick of her anyway.

Yeah, if the relationship between the 2 of you wasn't strained and at the breaking point, you'd probably be happy for her and this wouldn''t matter. But, since it is at the point it is, the reaction is quite different.

I'd still be irked she got the same kind of car I did, but I wouldn't have blown up in her face over it. Hell. If our relationship was like it was in the beginning I'd have thought it was cool, but now I just don't.

Yeah, the way she has been acting has gotten old over the past few years.
