Yeah, I understand. I can never sleep the night before something big happens. It's one thing that's really bad about me.

11pm and he's already asleep. :/ I think I should attempt sleep before 1 tonight. Hope I can actually sleep. Today was miserable because of how I got almost no sleep. :(

Haha, uh huh. Normal people go to sleep around 11. We're just strange night hawks. XP

I can usually deal with one night of no sleep and not be miserable, but I need 10 hours of sleep a night to function at my best, so several days of 7 hours of sleep really screws me up. Or several days of no sleep.

I was just so miserable for multiple reasons. He was sleeping, snoring, etc. I was wide awake anxious, wanting him to be awake enough to help me feel better.
Then today just sucked because I only probably got maybe 4hr f broken up sleep or so. I dunno. It was my first night.
Then we had to do running around, was a miserable time as well because we were trying to look for a fan for me to use in my room for us. Then a bunch more things happened leading us into an almost 3hr conversation when we got back which involved an argument of sorts. Got a bit upset both of us did. Things were said that needed to be said.
It seems like we're ok. We had a good night till he went to sleep awhile ago. But, oh well. We have all tomorrow together. I'll get some reading done tomorrow when we have some downtime. He'll be fine with it. ^^

Yeah, it's hard when you're feeling like shit and nobody is awake to comfort you. That happens to me a lot, too.

Well, I hope you guys work it out. I'm sure it's just because you weren't yourself from all the anxiety. I start shit sometimes when I'm anxious like that.

The rest of the weekend went good. Sat night and last night were both awesome.
I found out yesterday that I have Mondays off, so we were able to have one more day together like we hoped. ^^ Last night was a really good nice relaxing night.

He just left to go home about 15 min ago and of course saying goodbye sucked. I kept breaking down and crying (still am kind of). The homesick feeling finally set in since he left to go home. But, we had an awesome and wonderful vacation that we both knew would have to be over since we both need to go back to work/class and get stuff situated.
He said something that made me feel a lot better. He told me how while I would be here in classes and stuff kicking butt, he would spend that time getting stuff situated with him and leaving Taco Bell (which was part of why he used all 5 days of his vacation), and get a better job and get his career plans situated. So he'll be all set and such when I get back from school. ^^
That made me feel better.

Ack, it's after 5 and I should at least get myself showered and ready for class at 7. It's been raining most of today which sucks because I wanted to ride my bike to class. But, I have to take the shuttle. :( Oh well, excuse to put awesome music on my mp3 player ^^

Awh. I'm sorry about you feeling homesick, but I'm glad you've had a good weekend. Sorry about the rain, too. I'd take it for you. I love rain.

I've had a pretty good week. So many of my old friends and acquaintances came out of the woodworks. It made me want to cry because they made me feel truly loved and welcomed. Haven't felt that in awhile. Now hopefully it'll stay that way and just keep improving on itself/getting better.

It's also good to hear Mike is trying to improve his life. I'll send him some luck even though he doesn't know me.

Yeah, it took me a bit to feel better once he left. I almost broke down on my way to class on the shuttle bus getting nervous and missing him.
But, once I got to class and it started, I began to feel better, especially since I was chatting with a fellow student.
I'm still a bit nervous about this semester since I am in grad school now ^^"

still feeling homesick and it'll be weird sleeping tonight since it's my first night here alone. I was thankful I had him here my first night which helped me get used to it here.

And to top it off, I'm feeling sick. -.- my throat hurts and I'm drained. I'm guessing it's from all the stress from the summer of constant working, everything leading up to me being here and getting here, etc. Then I get to relax when I get here (even with the fight we had on Saturday). Last night I started feeling sick. This is no good. Not when I actually have to motivate myself in classes that are online and hybrid. :/
Oh well, I have medicine and am taking care of myself. ^^ Not staying up till 2am my time. I actually might pass out early. Just have to do a quick assignment for one of my classes and then I can relax

Yeah, I found out it wasn't raining when I left class tonight... Could have ridden my bike no problem. -.- oh well. I love rain, I just really wanted to ride my bike today after spending the weekend mainly being lazy, drinking thur, fri, sat night ^^"

Tomorrow I'll be able to ride to work and class :)

So. Ely saw Obama today.

That's my picture--I just got extremely lucky with no blur and perfect lighting. ^.^

I almost passed out from the heat, but I got myself together and was able to enjoy everything!

I'm sorry you're feeling so nasty, though. I did read your whole post, I'm just kinda out of it from today and am not really up to replying to the whole thing. I hope you feel better, and your home sickness goes/went away, though.

o.o I freaking envy you! Oh how I wish Obama would come to my campus!

It's ok. ^^" I'm a bit tired and blah still. But mainly because of sick and I'm beat from today. I worked 11-3 and then had class from 4-7. To top it all off, I biked from my apartment to work, and to the main part of the campus. ^^" And that was not a good idea when you're a bit sick. But, I survived. It was warm though and I am out of shape. Then I had to go to the bookstore to pick up a combo lock to put on a locker for work tomorrow.

But, I have a good thing- I already am getting access to sign in and use the register at the place I work. ^^ And the guys I was working with were complementing me on how good I did today. ^^
That and I am enjoying not having to rely solely on campus food places. Yay having a kitchen ^^

Hopefully your classes are going good. ^^

He might still come see your campus! This is the first time in history a sitting president has ever come to my college, and he seems to be going to tons and tons of them.

It was so freaking amazing. I've never done anything remotely like that before, so I'm still sitting here starstruck with my adrenaline going. Then, to get so close to him? Oh man. It was the shit.

Anyway, I feel ya. I lived through the same thing last Monday, pretty much. I hope the job keeps going so well for you, too!

Yeah, I like to cook for myself, and eating out all the time is so damn bad for you, so having a kitchen is a big priority for me.

My classes are okay. I skipped three today to see Obama, SO hopefully it's not too bad.

I hope he does. I'd be willing to blow off work if he comes while I'm at work. Work can kiss my ass when it comes to the President coming to the school.
Glad he realises he should go seek help from those of us who are currently being screwed by the system and when we finish school, that we would be the ones facing a lot of trouble. Try to help us and such. Or something like that.

The job is doing pretty good. I described it to someone on another site as duh work. It's not too bad. It's a nice break for my brain since I'm killing it with all of the work I have to do during the evening most nights. ^^" Plus I get sat-mon off ^^ I work 11-3 most days and 10.30-3 on Friday. ^^ perks of being a grad student :P

I love cooking for myself. I love having the kitchen downstairs in my house. Mike was with me all weekend and I cooked for him most of the time. ^^ Sunday we cooked dinner together :) I love not having to rely so much on the campus dining halls. I mainly have dining dollars for my meal plan because I will sometimes eat at the food court I work in and I can use them at the store next to it getting groceries there for awhile when I can't get to the grocery store off campus.

LOL, I skipped school to go to anti-Bush rallies with my mom. nbd

Damn skippy work can kiss your ass. There were quite a few people bitching about the president coming to CSU, but seriously...what's wrong with them? It's the president. It's amazing, and it's an honor. NOW, had it been Bush, wouldn't have gone to see him, but wouldn't have bitched, either.

And yeah, I like him a lot because he sees where he needs to get support, and he goes and gets it. He doesn't hide like a little wussy.

Ahh. A minimum wage job that gives you weekends off? You are lucky.

Dude. Dining dollars haven't been usable around here since I was a kid. We used to use them all the time in my family. Nostalgia. XD

Now that kind of Bush rally I would have gone to...

I wouldn't have bitched about Bush coming either because of how cool it would have been knowing that. But, Bush came to Mike's high school in our district back in 2005, I only bitched about the reform he was backing at the time and his policies. Other than that it was cool seeing Air Force One landed in our airport both times (he returned in 06 to speak in a town not far from mine)

That is cool he does realise where he needs support too ^^

Yup, I work in a campus place and they schedule you based on demand. Plus, I stated I wasn't available on Sat or Sunday. Which was fine by them since I am a grad student, I have class during the evening, most of their undergrad workers all go to class while I'm not in class. so, I work 4hr a day tue-friday. ^^

Yeah, dining dollars are part of the meal plans here on campus and their tax free credits to your account that can be used to purchase food at the store on campus and at the food halls/courts. ^^ I have 850 of them to use this semester. ^^ Plus if I read it right, I have a free meal with the food place that I can use each day I work since I work more than 3.5hrs ^^

Oh it was a fun one the first one I went to, my mom and I saw one of my high school teachers :) I went and talked to him the next day about it ^^

.....cool. O.o Would love to catch a glimpse of Air Force One, but I live nowhere near the airport that it can land at here in Colorado. They choppered him in from the Capital, I imagine, is what happened here.

But gawd. I was so young in 2005, I wouldn't have given two shakes of a rat's ass that the president was in my city. >.>

That is really nice. I hope I can get a nice job like that when I'm in grad school.

That teacher would've been my best friend, lol. I'm not much of a hateful person, so I don't know if I'll ever go to something like that in my lifetime, but I would've thought about it with Bush if I'd been the age I am now back then.

I didn't actually get to see it, I saw it on the tv. But, it was just soo cool knowing it was there. Especially since at that time, my cousin was in the Air Force and he was at Andrews AFB where they keep Air Force One. ^^

I think I was 17 going on 18. I turned 18 that year because I voted in the local election that year.

It is kinda cool knowing the fact I'm free earlier in the day so I have my evenings and I work times undergrads can't because of class. Plus someone I work with mentioned he likes it when they have grad students working there. I guess we're at that perfect age where we have the work ethic or something.

We mainly were going there with a bunch of union people and we were protesting the social security reform he wanted to put in place, which would have really been a bad thing for working class people. But, it was cool. I feel bad I never got the chance to keep in touch with this teacher. He and his wife both worked at the school when my brother and I both went, so they knew my brother and would ask about him sometimes when I was there.

That's ok Otaku. ^^ I'm getting to the point where I won't post a lot thanks to school. ^^"

Currently I'm sitting in the Student Union building debating what I want for dinner. I don't feel like cooking dinner tonight (even leftovers). I got let out of class almost an hour early today so I'm not totally hungry because I eat lunch at 3 when I get out of work, and then expect not to eat till going on 7.30-8 when I finally get back to my house. Though I probably will just get something from somewhere and bring it to the house and eat it there ^^"

Ely:: I think Air Force One can land pretty much anywhere if it has to. It flew Obama into Joplin last year, and that airport is dinky. Most major airlines don't even land there.
Its big and shiny and makes your house rattle when it flies over you.

I could have seen President Obama last year, but I didn't go. It was so insanely crowded, and those stupid God Hates Fags people were "protesting", and I was busy doing clean-up in my nana's neighborhood anyway.

Like I think there's only one airline that lands at the little airport where I'm from, but its not like AF1 really had a choice. I mean like, I guess they could have landed in Kansas City or something and then brought Obama by car, but that would have taken forever. It took ages to get him from the airport to MSSU, and they're not even that far apart.

I don't know what they did here. I kinda think they flew Air Force 1 to DIA and then flew him by helicopter to the airport closer to us. Then at that point they drove him with the presidential limo.

I know that they did the limo to get him into town because there were tons of roads closed off.
