Red watched all the clothes, the fabrics, the seller and then Alice. She seemed to be holded back from some desire. They weren't really friends, but he did like her. 'What is it?'

"Oh it's nothing really." her face turned red, she couldn't believe that he had seen her reaction. She sighed, she didn't really want to lie to him. "It's a beautiful dress," she pointed to the one she liked. "Just reminds me of how long its been since I've had something nice like that."

Red stared at it for a moment. It wasn't cheap, neither was it really expensive. 'I'm sorry..' he murmled. He really did feel sorry for her, and if they were friends he might've bought it, but it didn't seem right. He only knew her a few hours, not even that. Though he was feeling bad about it he walked further. 'Maybe your father will think about it.'

"I doubt it." she sighed as they continued walking through the market. That's when she spotted him. Leon. He was standing there in his fancy suit, making everyone stare as he hassled some poor merchant. Alice scowled at him. He thought he was so much better than the commoners. Alice slowed down and hid behind Red as they got closer. She didn't want that jerk to see her, not now.

'What's the problem?' Red asked Alice. He was more than surprised, what could've been her problem? He stood still and turned around so he could look at Alice.

Alice fidgeted with her hands. "I'm sorry, It's just..." she paused thinking of how she should word it. "There is a man here that i would rather not see or speak to." she gave him a worried smile, she was thankful for him blocking her from Leon.

But it was too late, she had been spotted. Leon made his way over to the two of them. He looked Red up and down with a frown and then ignored him like he wasn't even there. Leon smiled an evil grin. "How are you my dear Alice?" his voice made her cringe.
"I'm fine Leon, But i am busy. please excuse, me." Alice had to be polite. Leon's family was one of her fathers biggest customers.
When Alice turned away from him and tried to walk away, Leon reached out and wrenched her arm back. Alice let out a small cry as he twisted her arm painfully.
"I'm not done talking to you Alice."
"Leon let go, you are hurting me!" She struggled in his grip.
