Mathais looked over at Anansi and smiled at one of his oldest friends, they have met each other at the same time but that didn't mean they didn't have a healthy rivilry when it was safe tohave one. "I am trying to but you should get it through this idiots head." he said to Anasi as he moved his hand that had the sword in it, chuckling a little bit, his additude changed when he was talking to people that he wasn't angry with. He then blinked at the feeling of the blade being pulled from his hand, flexing it a little bit before he wiped at the blood that was on his hand, he couldn't help but laugh evilly as itwasn't his blood on his hand but Cleo's. "Don't you love how he acts like i have no effect on his feelings and how he acts like a mortal sword can hurt me." he said to Anansi as he had an amused look on his face, everyone knew that demons are mainly affected by holy things that pretain to God, if he even said the holy man's name he would start to smoke and almost catch on fire, that was one thing he avoided at all costs but with Anansi who knew this, well he had to be careful around the man. He watched the man trying to attack him, seeing him slide between his legs before he turnned to the side to see what he was doing, he laughed even more as the man missed his target, he wasn't trying to fight or cause trouble, after all he knew how AIn would be once he woke up.
