How do you know how much gold you will get from a specific post? (Or, at least, ballpark values.)

I believe the current rate is .03 gold for each alphanumeric character, up to 30g for a post. Creating a topic will award an additional 50g. Punctuation and code (such as bolding) do not award currency.

If you edit your post to remove content, your gold will also be removed.
