About an hour into their run, Rose had actually been sent back to the hotel room by the others, since she'd been starting to fall asleep in her seat waiting for him to come back. Once she'd gotten back to the room, she'd changed into something comfortable, she tried to stay up a while longer to wait for him, and failed.

Damien shifted back and pulled his clothes on before he went back to the hotel room. Grinning, he settled in next to her after changing into more comfortable clothes, settling down there for the night.

Rose woke a little when he came to bed.

"Welcome back," she murmured, snuggling closer. "Did you have fun?"

"I did." Damien smiled and pulled her closer. "It was a nice run. How long did you manage to stay awake?"

"About an hour," Rose replied, snuggling closer. "Got sent back after that."

Damien chuckled. "Good. Now you can go back to sleep."

"'Mkay," Rose replied sleepily, already putting her head on his chest and drifting back off.

Damien stayed awake for a little while longer before he drifted off too. And he did not want to wake up the next morning.

Rose slept in the next morning as well, snuggled in comfortably with him and all warm and happy. She didn't want to get up, either.

Damien finally lifted his head close to noon to blink blearily at the clock. Still too damn early. He groaned quietly and laid his head back down, pulling Rose closer.

Rose drifted in and out of wakefulness all morning, and woke up a bit more when Damien shifted around.

"Morning, you," she murmured, leaning up a bit to kiss him.

Damien grumbled. "'s not morning. 's too early." But he kissed her again, clearly not entirely awake yet.

"It's noon," Rose replied softly, teasing him a little. She snuggled a little closer. "Going to lounge about all day?" She grinned. "There might be a sunbeam coming through the window, if you like."

Damien snorted. "Too bad. I don't feel like moving. Sunbeam can wait." He rested his head against hers.

Reaching up, Rose ran her fingers through his hair gently.

"I'm guessing you had fun with your family last night, then," she said. "You're usually not this lazy after a run."

"They decided I'd been lazy running by myself and I needed a good long run." Damien stretched. "I think we covered something like twenty miles, overall."

"Impressive," Rose murmured, letting him stretch and snuggling back in.

"Longest run I've been on in a while." Damien groaned quietly and flopped an arm over her again. "Don't feel like getting up."

"That just means we can order room service and lounge about in bed all day," Rose said, leaning up to kiss him. "Not the worst way to spend a Sunday, really."

Damien chuckled. "That does sound nice," he agreed with a lazy smirk. "When one of us feels like getting up enough to get the menu and the phone."

"I can do it," Rose said, giving him a kiss. Slipping out of bed, she went to get the menu and the phone, handing both to him and getting in next to him again. "Mmm, you're much warmer than the rest of the room," she commented as she snuggled in.

Damien grinned. "I know. I make a good space heater." He shifted so they could both see the menu, letting her peruse it. "Anything sound good at the moment?"

"You do," Rose teased, grinning. "But on the menu, I don't think I'll be all that picky."

Damien laughed quietly and kissed the top of her head. "Well, whatever you'd like, love."

"Pick something," Rose replied. "I should hope by now you know what I like." She grinned a bit.
