"You also don't mind that you get to open it and smell my perfume while I'm gone," Rose teased, kissing him.

Damien chuckled quietly. "That certainly doesn't hurt," he admitted, grinning, totally unabashed. "Does that bother you?"

"Not at all," Rose replied, grinning. "I like the fact that I can catch my own perfume on you sometimes."

Damien chuckled and pulled her closer. "Do you, now?" he asked playfully. "Bet you'd like it more if you had my sense of smell."

"I bet I would, too," Rose replied, snuggling closer. "But I don't, so I have to make do." Grinning, she kissed him. "All things considered, I think I'm doing alright for myself."

Damien chuckled quietly. "I'd say more than alright," he teased, pulling her closer. "I'd say you're doing pretty damn well, actually."

Rose grinned and settled into his arms.

"Good to know," she said.

Damien chuckled and stayed there. A lazy day sounded just perfect to him, after all.

Rose was perfectly content to lounge about all day, although she reluctantly got up when it was time for them to head back home.

Taylor stretched and sighed, pulling Sera close. The weekend was almost over.

"So, did I manage to make you feel better?" he asked her softly, giving her a soft kiss.

Damien let her pick the radio station as he drove, just taking his time. There was no rush to be back, and he didn't want to rush back and get in an accident or anything.

"Yeah." Sera smiled a little and kissed him gently. "Thanks."

Rose was settled in for the ride, relaxed and dozing in and out. She didn't mind the ride taking a while.

"My pleasure," Taylor replied, pulling her close. "Am I forgiven? At least mostly?"

Damien stayed quiet during the trip back, waking her only once he stopped in front of his house.

"Rose? We're back."

"Mostly," Sera settled on, giving him a look. "You do this again and you won't be, though."

Rose blinked and stretched a bit, then sat up better.

"Alright," she said, getting out of the car. "As much fun as the vacation was, I'm glad we're home again."

"I won't," Taylor replied. "I promise." He gave her a kiss. "You don't have to worry about that."

Damien nodded. "It's always nice to come back home." He stretched a little and got their bags out of the trunk, carrying everything inside.

Sera nodded. "Good." She kissed him again. "Cause if you do you won't be forgiven next time."

"So did your family really like me?" Rose asked as they went inside. "I mean, they weren't just being nice for you?"

"I'll make sure it doesn't happen again," Taylor replied. He gave her a slow, thorough kiss. "Now, if I know Damien, he'll likely keep Rose until tomorrow morning, so we still have some time..."

Damien shook his head. "No. If they don't like someone, they don't bother with civility for anyone's sake. There've been some people they barely tolerated. So they definitely liked you for you, not because you were with me." He smiled at her.

Sera shivered. "Is that all that you think about?" she teased, moving her hand so she could play with the hairs at the nape of his neck.

"That's good," Rose replied. "I just wanted to be sure. I've had people outright hate me before for no apparent reason without saying or do anything to indicate it, so I like being certain about such things."

"Sometimes," Taylor admitted, kissing her neck gently. He unfurled his power just slightly, barely enough to notice. "But can you blame me? I'm an incubus with an amazing woman in the same bed with me."

Damien nodded. "Yeah, you don't have to worry about them. They like you. Now my mother is the only one you really have to worry about, and you don't have to meet her for a little while yet."

"I could if I tried hard enough," Sera said, always eager to be ever so helpful. "But I don't think I'll try right now." She tilted her head to give him better access.

"Do you think she'd like me?" Rose asked, a little hesitantly. Of course, she wasn't worried about her own family not liking him; the Clan loved him.

Taylor kissed her neck again gently.

"Of course, if you're tired, just say the word and I'll stop," he said, kissing her properly.

Damien was quiet for a few moments. "I think she will be upset that I didn't pick another shifter," he said slowly. "But I think that once she gets used to the idea she'll like you, so long as you don't turn into a mouse around her. Metaphorically."

Sera groaned quietly when he pulled back again. "You did this on purpose," she grumbled. "You know damn well I'm not tired anymore."

Rose couldn't help but snort a bit at the pun.

"That was bad," she said.

"Mmm, then I don't think I'm doing my job right," Taylor teased, kissing her again. "Maybe I should correct that."

Damien snickered. "Hey, it's true. I'm just giving you some friendly advice." He grinned at her.

Sera looked flustered for a few seconds before she grumped and gave up. "You are completely incorrigible."

Rose rolled her eyes and kissed him.

"It was still a terrible pun," she said.

"Sometimes," Taylor allowed. He looked at her. "But really, I'll stop if you say so."

Damien just chuckled and pulled her closer, kissing her briefly before going to check on his cat.

"I haven't said anything yet, have I?" Sera grinned briefly.

Rose returned the kiss and went to change into something comfortable to settle in for the evening.

Taylor grinned and went back to pleasing his woman the best way he knew how.
