Damien nodded. "If you want to nap here I'll cover for you, or you can head home. Either way, I'm not going anywhere."

"I'm not leaving," Taylor said. "It'll be easier to find her if I'm right here." He glanced at his friend. "You know how to wake me if you need to."

Damien nodded and settled in next to him to watch and wait. Now hopefully it would work.

Taylor had no problems falling asleep, and because he was so close to Sera, it was easy enough to find her. He nudged his way into her head gently.

"Sera?"

Sera blinked and turned to look at him. "Taylor? What are you doing here?" She frowned a little. She knew something wasn't right, but she couldn't pin down what.

"Sera!" Going over Taylor hugged her. "You're alright, thank the gods..."

"Of course I'm alright," Sera said with a little laugh, though she hugged him. "Why wouldn't I be?"

"Sera..." Taylor hesitated. He pulled her closer. "Do you remember the car crash?"

"Car crash?" Sera blinked and shook her head. "No, there was no car crash. You must have had a bad dream or something."

"I'm serious, Sera," Taylor said. "You were in a crash about a week ago. You've..." He hesitated. "You've been unconscious ever since. This was the only way I could reach you."

Sera froze at that, stiffening in his arms. "No, you're wrong," she said, shaking her head. "I just left last night, I've only been gone for maybe twelve hours."

"I've been worried sick about you for a week," Taylor said. "Damien and Rose, too, they've been to see you every day with me."

Sera frowned, very confused.

"If I'm unconscious, then how are you here?"

"I took a gamble," Taylor said. "I wasn't sure if it would work, but I had to try to come in after you."

"You mean we're in my head." Sera was quiet for a few long moments.

"You know I wouldn't be here if I wasn't desperate, Sera," Taylor said. "I've been worried. You're hurt really badly, and the doctors have done all they can."

"I... don't remember any of that." Sera frowned a bit. "This makes no sense."

"They did say you hit your head pretty hard," Taylor said. "It might take time to remember."

Sera nodded slowly. "So this is in my head and I'm still unconscious?"

"That's about the gist of it," Taylor said, nodding. He hugged her gently.

Sera leaned into him slowly. "So what do we do?" she asked quietly.

"I'm not sure," Taylor admitted. "I think that a little more time to heal is a good idea. I just had to know you were okay enough to be able to wake up sometime soon."

"I... guess I will be. I mean, I feel fine now, but I'm not exactly a good indication." Sera shrugged. "You can always come back in though if I don't wake up. Right?"

"As long as you're still here," Taylor said, nodding. He gave her a small kiss. "I just want you to get better and wake up. Everything else can wait."

Sera nodded. "Alright. I'll see you soon, I hope. When I'm more healed."
